Stay in the unique Art House in the WNMU College District! An easy drive or 15-minute walk to downtown Silver City, this home is completely remodeled with an updated cottage kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Two beautiful, well-appointed bedrooms are perfect for couples traveling together or families. A fifth person can be accommodated on the oversized couch.

Brew a coffee and enjoy a relaxing morning on the patio surrounded by native landscaping and colorful metal art by sculpturist Shelby Cox.

Art House is equipped with a Roku TV, perfect for listening to your favorite music or settling in for movie night. We have compiled a guide of the fantastic restaurants, adventures and events that Silver City has to offer.

Art House is conveniently located on US Highway 180 and is subject to highway noise. Located on the western edge of town in a residential neighborhood, the traffic is minimal at night. To minimize any disturbances, we have installed double glazed windows to ensure an enjoyable and restful stay.

***Not suitable for guests with mobility issues: Concrete stairs from parking area to house entry. Interior stairs include two steps into lower level living areas. No wheelchair access.

The house is welcoming with wonderful natural light throughout, especially the eastern light in the living room for morning coffee. Beds are very comfortable and outdoor space is private. Was a great place to stay for what we needed. Very close to the college and downtown. You could walk about a half mile to downtown. The only negative is the noise from the busy road and the parking on the street, no garage. Also, if you are in a wheel chair this place is not for you. Steep steps down to get to property and each room is a step down or step up.

Silver City Blues Fest

A wonderful little funky house. The art outside and inside the house made for a wonderful few days. Comfortable and convenient to the Blues Fest as well as the rest of town. The four of us all slept well and enjoyed our time there. Hope to reserve for next year.

Silver City is one location that I keep returning to as it still has remnants of true wild west culture, diverse wildlife, and expansive hiking and wilderness space.
