Why they chose this property
We chose to build a home in this area because of its serene beauty. The property is completely private, and offers an experience of safety, but not isolation. Built at the end of the road, there is no drive by traffic, children and dogs are can play freely and guests can settle in for meaningful time together. For many, the property itself is a destination. It is rare to find a place where there is enough space for family and friends to gather and offer private space, as well. We utilize the property for our family gatherings, vacation rentals, small intimate events and retreats. We have a vision to expand the property to include a small retreat center... a way of extending the gathering opportunities.
What makes this property unique
The Timber Frame House is surrounded by 360•° NW beauty. Because the house is at the end of a private road and only surrounded by forest and ponds, there is a sense of safety and security- contained by mother nature. You will experience a symphony of frogs at night in the summer, and native wildlife that shares the space with you year round.
A uniquely safe place for children to explore nature while parents can relax. There are no cross roads or poison ivy; there are some stinging nettles but summers are always beautiful, and the property has many different spots to hang out and meet individual needs for personal and together time.
Weddings, workshops, tent camping, yurt, rv... can be explored on an individual basis.
