This is a one bedroom apartment in a shared house overlooking the town of Van Buren, Missouri. We are located at 1000 feet of elevation and the Current River and the town are about 500 feet below. From the porch of this apartment you can see more than twenty miles, and the landscape and visuals are ever-changing. We are located about three miles from Big Spring National Park and less than two miles from the Current River National Scenic Riverway.

Big Springs

This property was in a great location to Big Springs and Van Buren. It also, had a wonderful view from the patio, kitchen, living room and bedroom. In the morning there are thin clouds over the woods and it looks like your sittin above the clouds.

Loved our stay. Super cute, close to everything we wanted to do, yet out far enough for that country feel. Spectacular view of the mountains and Current River. Will stay here again and will recommend to others.

Cozy and clean

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a unique place to stay. This place fit the bill. Very short drive to Big Spring and the Current River. We really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the property. We were well taken care of and all our needs were met. Also a beautiful view! I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

We have been enjoying the outdoors and the town of Van Buren, Missouri for years. We are excited to continue the tradition of the previous owners of renting the apartment to others so that they, too, can enjoy all that the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We feel very fortunate that the former owners retired to another part of the country just at the right time for our family. After spending many years in and around Van Buren, we are excited to be a part of this community and continue to enjoy the river, the hiking, the fishing, and more for years to come.

What makes this property unique

The view here is spectacular and the location cannot be beat. We are close to amenities yet are more secluded than a hotel. With the full kitchen and outdoor grill, guests can make themselves at home.
