We had a great time staying here over spring break with our three boys. They didn’t want to leave! Lots to do nearby, and they had fun hanging by the fire pit and on the porch! House has everything we needed and was very clean. Extra comfy bed linens, blankets and other touches made it feel special!
I didn't hesitate for a moment to give five stars. We had very high expectations for this early-spring trip, and upon arriving at the cabin, the house's setup, cleanliness, comfort level, and thoughtful little touches truly impressed us. We had a great time here and will definitely come back in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was in excellent condition, was extremely clean and had everything and more that would ever be needed for a guest. Great location and views. Would definitely stay again!
The cabin was wonderful - Zach and Nicole go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, from the beautiful Christmas decor, to the local snacks, coffee, and all kinds of necessities in case you forgot something at home. I would definitely recommend them as hosts for any property. The cabin is centrally located close to several towns and Asheville. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Their communication was excellent. Thank you!
Clean and bright spacious cabin with a great wrap around deck. The owners have provided numerous amenities that you won't find in most rentals. We would definitely stay there again.
We all absolutely loved this house. It had everything we needed and more. There was so much room and was beautifully decorated. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.
Went away for husband’s 50th bday. Cabin was nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in! Very clean, stocked coffee bar, hot tub and fire pit. Hope we can visit again. Definitely recommending.
What a wonderful cabin. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The property was clean, comfortable, and had so many thoughtful touches. Mike was quick to respond to any questions or concerns before and during our stay. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.
My friends are I stayed here over the weekend and WOW! We loved it! Everything was so clean and comfortable. It was about a 30 min drive to downtown Asheville but it was worth the drive to stay here. Such a great property!!
The house was very clean and well stocked with toiletries and misc supplies. Beautiful porch to sit and enjoy your coffee, a hot tub to relax and comfortable living arrangements with clean linens. The host was helpful with and very responsive. I’d love to come back here some day!
The hosts were absolutely amazing and very accommodating! So many amenities!! Great stay would recommend to anybody going with a group of 5 or more! I would recommend checking the animal sanctuary near Asheville! Loved!!! Thank you
Once a year my children and make the time to spend a few days together, this year we picked snow tubing the cabin was all that I hoped and more we had a wonderful time lot of laughs. It was perfect atmosphere!
This property was excellent. We really enjoyed the location and all the extras that the owner provided to make the stay extra nice. We LOVED the fire pit. Each night we sat around the fire and enjoyed talking and spending time together. You could tell the owner of this property really wants your stay to be perfect. I would rent again.
We have stayed in many VRBO ‘s, and this is one of our favorites so far. From the cleanliness, to the communication with the host, and the extensive extra touches, this place was exceptional. The only negative, was having to leave. We would definitely return!
Leaf Me Alone is a fantastic place to stay! The cabin and the amenities are amazing. And the property managers take it up a notch with all the little touches to make it a great place to rent- from the robes left in the closets, to the welcome treats, the items for the fire pit, to the well stocked kitchen, to the drawers in the bathroom with forgetten items- plus the list goes on! My crew loved the hot tub, air hockey table, games, fire pit and hammock! The location is perfect to hit DuPont state park, Biltmore, as well as Pisgah National Park. Definitely recommend!
We came to the area from Ohio to visit the Biltmore. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. There wasn’t anything they didn’t think of. The coffee bar was a hit and a very unexpected surprise! Thank you for the poppy gift! We all liked it so well we bought plenty to take home for family. The Hottub worked well, and we enjoyed it after long days of a lot of walking. The only thing we could complain about were the mattresses were not comfortable. We would definitely com back and visit the area.Thank you for your thoughtfulness! You are wonderful hosts!

So glad you had a great time overall. We're sad to hear about your experience with the mattresses. That is the first time we've heard that. The only feedback we've had in the previously about the mattresses are compliments, and even had a couple of guests ask about the brand so they could purchase them at home. So sorry that was not your experience.

Below average cabin, impossible driveway, bogus charges
The cabin was ok, we thought it was secluded but it was not. Not much room for the kids to play outside either since it is on such a steep hill. The driveway is VERY steep. I definitely would not book in the winter months, there would be no way to get in or out, even with 4 wheel drive. We had some minor issues with our stay including an internet outage, the hot tub breaking (we did not break it) and a light fixture fell from the ceiling (didn't do that either). We didn't ask for anything, we waited all day for the internet tech, and we told the host about these issues on checkout. I was prepared to ignore them and write a decent review as these things happen. However, a week or so later we were hit with a laundry list of other items and fees (for things such as smudges and "stains" towels being too dirty, and even a concrete block stain on a $30 outdoor plastic chair). I've stayed at probably 20 or more of these rentals and this is the first time I've ever had anything taken from my deposit. I've never seen anything like it. Not sure if the owners are on hard times with the economy or what but it was completely ridiculous.

We will let our other reviews speak for themselves. He was given an extra day’s stay free of charge for the Internet outage that occurred one evening. The repair was done within hours. Strange he forgot that.
The hot tub was fine, and any problems were
Most likely user error.
The cabin is on the side of a mountain and includes 6 private hillside acres. Secluded, does not mean a large yard, but children are able to hike the woods, with parent supervision.
Yes, the guests apparently took a concrete block and cracked the seat of an Adirondack chair, for no reason. Another concrete block was smashed for no reason and its pieces thrown in a trash can.
Trash and debris, including many alcohol containers were found strewn outside and empty snack bags and bottles were found just tossed on the ground in the loft. Board games were left askew, guest rules were not followed. There were stains on the furniture and rugs, bio-hazard stains on towels. Items were missing. Extra hours of cleaning were needed.
The light in the children’s bedroom was left dangling from a wire- our best guess a high energy pillow fight from the top bunk may have caused it to release from its mount.
These were the first guests we’ve had to charge for damages in 4 years of renting our cabin.
We pride ourselves on taking care of it and want people to come and make great memories, children should be supervised by their parents.
It was quite obvious that children were left on their own to trash and disrespect our place. The driveway is steep, but we’ve never had a vehicle not be able to make it up, any time of year, including our personal vehicles, which are not 4 wheel drive.
Kitchen barstools had writing in permanent marker on them and had to be replaced.
Unfortunately, Landon wants to blame others instead of taking responsibility for the damage done, all which needed to be
repaired before the next guests arrived.
Landon and his family were more than happy to stay an extra day when offered, which seems a contradiction to his statements of saying he informed us about it on checkout.
Let us just say his visit was a regrettable experience for all.
