The house has a large wrap-around covered porch and spacious common areas. Each guest room has satellite high definition TV, DVD player, refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker. Guests have free access to the lodge's internet and phone. BBQ grills are available. Guests also have access to a private beach on the canal with fire pits and seating.
This suite has a king sized bed, a single bed, and a single trundle bed. It has a large private bathroom with a separate shower and an oversized Jacuzzi tub. Private entrance and spectacular views. There is a table and chairs. The room is decorated with works of local artists.
Access to the common areas is limited to the living room and dining room. Individual use of the lodge kitchen and laundry facilities is not permitted. .

Beautiful views of the ocean from the property. Hostess was very lovely. The jacuzzi tub was a big hit with our babies. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely

This was a beautiful room with a view to die for! Located close enough to town to go out yo eat. Far enough out to feel like you are getting the Alaska experience. And she rents cars! Bonus!!

Quiet time in Haines

We visited Haines for the purpose of photographing the brown bears. We were looking for a place to stay and communicated with Lynn view who was extremely prompt in their replies. The room was exactly as pictured and the bed and pillows were SO comfortable. It was unfortunate that we weren’t able to use the common area due to Covid restrictions but it looked lovely. They did supply us with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plastic cutlery and paper plates. It worked very well. Enjoyed the proximity to our area for photographing and enjoyed a fire on the beach. If you want to to go to town you would need a vehicle. Would I stay there again? Absolutely

I loved all the local art in the room. Its spaciousness! The very comfortable bed. The wonderful jacuzzi. The view of the ocean right across the very quiet road. Great to have the fridge and microwave, but the addition of a sink and some cupboards would make this a full kitchen and I would pay more for that. My other suggestion would be to replace the door between the suites with a sound- insulated one, as we could occasionally hear the people next-door (and no doubt they could hear our dog barking in response).
