Vista de Estrella is a mountain dream home--a true log cabin of glass and light. Set on more than half an acre, this gorgeously designed cabin is the very definition of getting away from it all. Rustic charm and elegant furnishings elevate this property with each window framing a perfect view of the San Jacinto National Forest for memory-making sunsets.

It's challenging to choose our favorite bedroom, as all three are well-sized and charming with unique decor that reflects the look and feel of the surrounding forest. For families with children, the backyard includes a charming, mini-play cabin.

Vista de Estrella is a place to catch up on naps, enjoy good long conversations with friends and family and dine against the backdrop of the mountains. Near Ernie Maxwell trail, South Ridge Trail, and May Valley Trail.

Communication was fantastic. The house was really a gem. Decorated very nice and comfortable to be in from the get go. All the small touches added to the stay. The cabin was cozy and well supplied. Elizabeth was a terrific host who made sure our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed a fire each evening and played games, and talked, and fed squirrels the peanuts we’d brought. Our weekend was a great getaway in Idyllwild.

Really lovely mountain retreat

I enjoyed everything about this cozy yet spacious mountain cabin. Every amenity one could need seemed to be available……for instance, popcorn for the microwave and even an electrical connection to charge EV’s.

Loved the cabin! Really enjoyed the 2 large decks out back. Great view! Large, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Enjoyed the decor. I would recommend this cabin highly!

Wonderful place - well appointed, mindfully kept, the rough edges of vacation rentals worked out and well documented. If you’ve never rented a vacation rentals you’ll have to read a tiny bit to know where and how. If you’ve done this before you will smile at the clarity and wit Elizebeth puts into her process. We were even greeted with homemade salsa. The outdoor deck is delightful and grounds very quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was clear and prompt. I would gladly return. Highly recommend.

Weekend family getaway

Had a very enjoyable weekend stay at the designer cabin treehouse. It was clean and stocked with everything we might need. Perfect for a family of 5 adults and our family dog. The views were great out of our windows on the second story. And we loved the unique pictures and fun statues that lined the inside walls of the property.
