Enjoyed our stay.

Nice cottage, but only one bedroom, and the 4 floor mattresses are in an attic with a very low ceiling, and you must climb steep, narrow stairs to get to them.

Island Recharge 2025

Our family had a delightful impromptu trip to Beaver Island. This cottage was beautifully redone and offered our family olus 2 dogs a home base while exploring the island. The hosts were very responsive and the neighbors were helpful as well. The porch is a perfect spot to soak in all that Pure Michigan has to offer. We look forward to a return trip!

Wonderful views, cool property, perfect location!

Lovely house which was so comfortable and perfect for us. We loved having breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening on the huge deck watching the boats come in and the ducks swimming in the harbor. Very peaceful… Everything we needed and more and the best location on the island. We can’t say enough good things about this property, just go experience it for yourself! We hope to stay here again in the near future!

Beautiful home, great location

The Fogg house was straight out of HGTV. Everything was beautifully selected. The bed was insanely comfortable, the views of the harbor were awesome. The upstairs renovated attic area was a great spot to sit down to read or do some work or play games. Great experience, overall. Thanks for having us!

A taste of island life

What a great place to stay! Well decorated. Clean, cozy, comfortable. We had a nice taste of island life on our 5 day stay. Hosts were responsive to any questions we had and helpful with recommendations for dining and fishing. The kitchen is small and quaint with all the basics covered. Hosts had e-bikes as an add on rental option. We rented those for the week and they were quite fun! This house was a great home base for our daily adventures! We highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous Place on Paradise Bay!

Perfect location for a couple or small group. Upstairs sleeping loft is really for the teen/young adult set. Walking distance to all harbor locations. Nicely and unusually appointed with artifacts and retro appliances, including a perfect little dollhouse oven. Beautiful views of the harbor and lovely wraparound deck for entertaining. Perfect Place But Sleeping Arrangements An Issue

We loved the place. We will come back! That said the loft beds we brought downstairs, three of them, to make the place perfect for our family. Doubt anyone would prefer to sleep in the low ceiling area upstairs. All in all though a magical place and wonderful location!

BI Wonderland!

The house was amazing! A beautiful home in the water! All newly refinished with BI charm and style. Jeremy and Abby where always available but rarely needed them! Beautiful deck awesome kitchen with the coolest red refrigerator! Thanks for letting me stay. Give it 5 stars all around. Definitely would come back again if they will have me🥰🥰🥰

Perfect Beaver Island getaway! Great house!!

This house is perfect, the pictures don't do it justice. I'm hesitant to give a good review because I don't want anyone else to find out about Beaver Island or this house!! My husband and I stayed her with our 3 girls, ages 9, 10 and 13. The loft was perfect for them. The ceiling is angled, so it was hard for us adults to be up there, but we ducked. The house is decorated so cute. It was cozy and functional. I loved the wood finishes and it fit in perfectly with the vibe of the island. This is the first VRBO that I've stayed in that has provided dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. It's an honor system, if you use it up, just go to McDonough's market and buy more to replace it. It's also a short walk to Whiskey Point Brewery, which had soda for the kids and the most amazing pretzels and flat bread pizza. Next the that is the market for groceries, and then the Dalwhinnie (I liked them on Facebook, which shows their hours and specials). There were other great places like the Toy Museum, Marine Museum, boat rental, and Harbour Bodega (for breakfast). Overall Beaver Island is so laid back. It's like no place I've ever been. This house, the views, the beaches and the responsiveness of Jeremy were all fantastic. We're already planning our trip back for next summer!

Very Trendy Property With A Great Location

Wonderful property for a visit to an incredible island. Would highly recommend. Owners were helpful and responsive and property was very nicely done and wonderfully comfortable.

Quaint but quirky

This home is really cute and cozy. The decor is quaint. The bathrooms are really well done and the washer and dryer are fabulous. The kitchen is mostly well-equipped. The home had some negatives however. The master bed is a full size and there is no door on the master en suite bathroom. The floors were not very clean and crumbs were left on the counter. There is no key to the home so you have to leave a door unlocked. The sleeping loft is only suitable for young people as you have to duck to access it. But with all this I would happily stay again if only for the view. It is beautiful! Sunset was in the tree across the street but it lit up the sky beautifully. I would stay again.
