Watermen’s Cabana 1B is a comfortable, convenient two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment designed for easy access to all of the things the Outer Banks has to offer. Located on a quiet street just a short walk from REAL Watersports, Watermen’s Bar and Grill, and over 40+ miles of wide-open Outer Banks beaches, this cabana is an ideal base for families, couples, and watersports travelers looking to experience the best of Hatteras Island.

Inside, Cabana 1B features a thoughtful layout with one king bed and two twin beds, making it well suited for families, couples or small groups. The living area includes leather furnishings, a smart TV with cable/streaming services, and a relaxed setting for movie nights or unwinding after a day at the beach. The full kitchen provides everything needed for meals at home, while the dining table offers seating for four.

The full bathroom includes a bathtub and shower combination, and the living space opens to a private deck with seating for two, along with access to a shared charcoal grill, perfect for casual outdoor meals after a day in the sun.

Watermen’s Cabanas are located within walking distance of the sound and ocean, giving guests easy access to both calm waters for watersports and expansive beaches for family time, shell hunting, and sunset walks.

Cabana 1B is dog friendly (2 max) with a signed pet waiver and $175 pet fee, making it a great option for guests traveling with their four-legged companions.

Clean, comfortable with everything you need!

This was a great, pet friendly property! It was well equipped with everything you need including full sized washer and dryer. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach but not far if you’re not carrying a lot of stuff. The beds are super comfortable and there’s even an outdoor shower. We will definitely stay here again!

Summer fun

Cute for small families. Not on the beach. We drove to one of the public access points. Only thing missing was a first aid kit.

Solid apartment

This property is very clean. A couple of things you should know: bring beach towels. You will need to drive to a beach location. For my husband and me, the king bed was a little soft. The queen bed was great. Everything is there for you to cook your own meals. We liked the location.

Wonderful customer service!

I’m short, we had an ant problem. They immediately attempted to resolve problem. When the issue was still occurring the following day they moved us to a new room (upgraded) and let us stay an additional day. We were very pleased with our visit for many other reasons as well.

Would come back again

We were overall very happy with our stay but it started off a little rocky with the check-in..... We had been given detailed instructions on how to check in after the check-in hours from 5-6p. We had even received a phone call and text from Brandon that morning. We arrived at the property at 9:30pm, well after the check-in hours, and there was someone already in our assigned cabana. We tried calling the main contact number on our reservation but it was the office number and no one was there. Luckily, the person in our assigned cabana was nice enough to look at their previous reservation emails and realized they had been put in our cabana and they gave us the door code to get into their originally assigned cabana. After 9 hours in the car, this was not an ideal way to kick off our vacation. The next morning, Brandon had gotten our voicemail messages and reached out to us. He came over immediately and changed the door code for us and told us the mix-up in cabanas was due to a new employee. So after we got that squared away, we loved our stay! The cabana was clean and neat. We loved the convenient and shaded parking spot beneath the cabana and the outdoor shower. We didn't use the equipment storage area but would next time if we brought our bikes. The beach is beautiful but requires a bit of a walk zig-zagging through the neighborhood. If you bring a lot of stuff to the beach you'll want to drive and park closer or bring a beach wagon to haul everything. If you're a beach minimalist, you'll have no problem :) Overall, we would definitely come back to this property and would recommend it to others!
