Freshwater Bay is tucked away between a tiny fishing village and a small neighborhood. We feature amazing gardens and are right on one of the best beaches on the island. No resorts here!

Freshwater Bay is a real diamond in the rough! Perfect west coast spot right on the beach. Third stay there. Continue to love it.

Stunning view and private beach with beautiful back yard.

Love to come back to this place again. Easy access to road. All amenity were available. Very beautifully and private place with kitchen and leaving space.

Wonderful find - quiet, uncrowded, beautiful beach

This was a perfect place for our family. It was clean and the host was very responsive and so helpful. You basically have the beach to yourself and there is also a lovely well maintained yard/common area with a grill and plenty of comfy lawn chairs and an outdoor shower. When we first drove down the road we were a little concerned because it is next to a rum distillery and fisher association, and the road is quite bumpy. We weren’t sure what to expect. But there was no smell, and by having no hotels there, it is perfect because it feels like you have your own private beach with coral and plenty of fish - so bring your snorkel equipment.! You can also walk to Paradise beach in minutes. It is also minutes from grocery store, and other stores. But, unlike the options in the city, this is quiet at night and you can sleep soundly in the comfy beds. One tip: wear water shoes no mater where you swim on the island!! With so much sea life….there are also sea urchins - my husband stepped on one and had to go to urgent care. BUT water shoes would have protected him (and as a side tip the urgent care is only 10 minutes away and awesome). We loved our time there and I would definitely recommend. Quiet, clean, convenient, and less expensive than other options we saw. As long as you don’t care about the aesthetics of the distillery (and why would you because we were staring at the beautiful ocean), then this is the place for you.
