This is a fabulous, newly custom made,renovated apartment on the top floor of a historic building located west(for the sunset) facing the magnificent calm waters of Carlisle Bay & Bayshore Beach. The apartment is on the only beach on the south coast with West Coast conditions, but instead with white powdery sand. With stunning sunset views of sailboats and the deep water harbour, the apartment consists of 2 bedrooms and looks over the Beach with a charming garden view.There are four different kind of palms. The apartment is fully equipped for self catering. The apartment has a 46 inch smart TV, and wifi.

The Brick House is on the only beach on the south coast with West Coast conditions, but instead with white powdery sand. With stunning sunset views of sailboats and the deep water harbour, the apartment consists of 2 units a bottom apartment with its own outside, Spanish style seating area looking into the charming garden.There are also four different kind of palms. Then there is the Penthouse suite which overlooks the garden, white sandy beaches of Carlisle Bay and breathtaking sunsets from your open balcony. The apartments are fully equipped for self catering. The apartments have 46 inch smart TVs Wi-fi /Blue tooth access and accommodate 110/220 supply throughout. Next to the property is ample parking .

Our Neighbours are the Government Head quarters, with the open esplanade right next to us. we have places ,where you can try some local food close by. Opposite from us, across the road, 100 feet from us is the "Bay View Clinic" private hospital. international clientele.

From the moment we booked the property, Jens was very helpful. The property is perfectly located on the nicest beach in Barbados. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very relaxed stay

Beautiful apartment, great beach, perfect for swimming and snorkelling, beach is very busy at the weekend, quiet and peaceful during the week. Good restaurants at south coast (Tapas, Champers). Very nice and helpful host Gregory. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect beach location

This property is perfect for anyone who wants to stay on beautiful Carlisle Bay. The property has gorgeous view of the bay and is only steps away from the beach. Gregory, the owner, is very friendly and he provides chairs and an umbrella which are set up daily to use which made it very convenient. In the bay you can see sea turtles, all types of fish and even a shipwreck! Would definitely recommend for any couple or family.

Gregory is a fantastic host, very helpful in getting us settled in. The view is unbelievable and the property has great local flora and wildlife. It located on the best part of the sand on Carlisle Bay. Turtles and shipwrecks right off the shore. Nolan takes care of things on the sand. Tip him well and early and he will take care of you. We cant wait to return!!

The location is the best on the island. The access to the beach with chairs and umbrella, exceptional. There is a bit of street noise to deal with, but not that bad. Greg was very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

Beach bliss!

We had a fantastic time (again). The apartment is directly on, in our opinion, the best beach on the island. Gregory is a great host. He lives on site, is always available and is professional, friendly and helpful. The apartment is gloriously open plan with efficient aircon in the bedrooms. There are electric shutters for security, but the area is very safe. One of the many benefits of the apartment is the provision of sun loungers on the beach. We have family commitments for the next year or so but will most certainly return.

Can't fault the view overlooking Browne's Beach, Carlisle Bay.Probably had more local noise than usual during our stay due to a B/H (National Heroes Day).I would recommend for those with walking difficulties to pick the ground floor apartment as the steps are a little steep.Public transportation is dead easy as bus stops in either direction are steps away.De Famous Bird Bar is literally a 3 minute walk away.Gregory the host lives on the premises and is both friendly and helpful without being intrusive ( there if you have questions or problems).

The apartment is exactly as described although more spacious than you would expect. It is spotless and contains everything you need for your stay. The beach front location is excellent and the provision of beach loungers and a parasol is real bonus. Nolan sets up every day, he is a lovely man and he really looks after you. The area is good, it’s quiet but there are nearby places to eat within walking distance. Táxis and ZRs stop nearby so the island is accessible without a hire car. Grocery options are limited within walking distance but there are two small stores less than 5mins on foot for essentials. Greg the owner is extremely helpful with information and advice, overall we would definitely choose to go back.

fabulous location

View, view and did I mention view. Location is great as well. If you are coming to relax and enjoy the beach this is it. You can go snorkeling 100 feet from your door step. Nolan our beach helper was great. Helpful hits, make sure you make reservations for dinning in advance. We would highly recommend Champers. We would not recommend Fish pot. Oistins for fry night fish fry is fun and the fish is delicious. Friday night is fun but Oistins is open every night for dinner and highly recommended.

Beautiful penthouse suite. Gregory was excellent as a host- great communication leading up to the stay, would respond promptly to any questions. The view from the property is stunning. It was such an experience to wake up to the sounds of the waves and to open the shutters to the view of the white sandy beach and calm ocean- picture perfect! A couple of upgrades such as a new bathroom and stronger WiFi inside the property would be good. Location wise, this place is perfect. ZR vans stop right outside the property- it was very easy to get around and everyone is so friendly. In terms of the beach, deck chairs and umbrellas would be set out daily by Nolan and it was our favourite part of the day to recline and watch the sunset. Overall, this felt like a week in paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Amazing views, beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brick House. Greg was really friendly and gave us a thorough check-in on arrival. The condo was well equipped for the things we needed, very comfortable living space and much appreciated A/C in the bedroom for us North Americans not used to the heat. Having on site access to the beach was such a treat, Carlisle Bay is beautiful. We enjoyed many walks and runs on the beach, snorkeling to the ship wrecks right from our shore, swims with the turtles and time with our feet up on the beach chairs provided. The location was great for getting out to see some things in the neighboring towns and around the island, walks into Bridgetown for the market and sight seeing but not right in the midst of where it gets really busy. My favorite part of staying here was being able to get up in the morning and enjoy a coffee and breakfast while looking out at the ocean and listening to the waves.

March madness getaway

I recently spent a week here with my son and Daughter (visiting my oldest daughter who goes to Ross Medical school in Barbados). What a view! Postcard pictures right out your living room window each day. Host was excellent and was very easy to talk to. We loved having beach chairs each day literally right outside our bedroom door. It’s a very short walk so you can grab food or use the bathroom and still be very close to your beach spot.. The beach to Savvy’s which was a nice place to grab drinks and food. Snorkeling is literally at your doorstep. The house was great and the bedrooms were very nice with air conditioning. I would stay here again without hesitation. Great host, great house, beautiful views. I’m highly recommend!

Amazing stay

This condo is amazing. Right from the moment you walk in the door the view hits you and you cannot believe it. From the pictures on the listing we knew it would be great, but it is so much better than the pictures. We have rented many places over the years but this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The location is on Carlyle Bay and we snorkelled with turtles, manta rays and so many beautiful fish. Gregory the owner was fantastic. He was so friendly and had great recommendations on what to do and see in Barbados. Nolan who helps out on the beach was so upbeat all of the time. We feel so blessed to have met them both. The master bedroom is huge with a king size bed. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We would like to say thank you to Gregory for being a fantastic host and we cannot wait to return.

Paradise

**We stayed in the top suite of the Building, if it's available during the time you are looking I 100% encourage you to book it.** Gregory is the most considerate, helpful and kind host! The morning we left he messaged us to check with us to anticipate the coverage we would have when we landed. He then waited up well past midnight to make sure we arrived safely and to give us our keys and show us our bungalow. For the duration of our stay he was exceptionally helpful with tips about locations to check out, gave us advice about staying safe and where to shop for groceries and more. We truly enjoyed having conversations with him about his experience on the island. The space is perfectly located next to the most insanely perfect beach that you could spend your entire vacation on and it would be the best vacation of your life. The snorkeling is not typical in anyway, the fish are plentiful and turtles frequently just off shore. But the shipwrecks are an experience I hope everyone can enjoy. They were magnificent. We spent every evening watching the sunset from the open living room and loved having a fully functioning kitchen with everything you'd have at home. Book your vacation now and my advice would be to extend it by a few days you will not regret it.

Juwel an der Carlisle Bay

Bei diesem Apartment stimmt einfach alles, die Fotos können die Lage direkt an der Carlisle Bay nur unvollkommen wiedergeben. Die Lage ist direkt am Strand nach Westen auf's Meer hinaus, vom Verkehr an der Bay St. hört man auch Nachts wenig, wenn man die Schlafzimmerfenster geschlossen hat.Die Carlisle Bay ist eine der besten Schnorchelbuchten der Insel, man kann direkt vom Strand aus losschnorcheln, währed draussen die Katamarane der Veranstalter ihre Kunden auskippen.Zum gelassenen Strandaufenthalt tragen auch Liegen und Sonnenschirm bei, die man gratis nutzen kann. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet zur Zubreitung von Frühstück und Abendessen. Es gibt auch einen gut funktionierenden Gasgrill im Garten. Das Bad ist großzügig und gut beleuchtet. Die Kommunikation mit Gregory hat sehr gut funktioniert. Seine freundliche und hilfsbereite Art ist äußerst wohltuend, wenn man gestresst vom Flughafen ankommt.

Excellent Stay

Excellent location, with fantastic view! Third story of renovated house on Carlisle Bay. Property manager has everything well established and looked after. The house directions upon arrival were many, and a little overwhelming when having just arrived and being tired/jet legged, but property manager checked in with us the next day and we were able to clarify. A cheat sheet or laminated sheet outlining everything would also be very helpful.

Geniale Unterkunft für Beach-Urlaub

Wir (Eltern + 2 Jugendliche) hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub auf Barbados. Die Insel an sich ist natürlich schon ein erstklassiges Ziel in der Karibik. Das Appartement und insbesondere auch der aufmerksame, sehr nette und superhilfsbereite Service von Jens, dem Vermieter, hat das ganze noch getoppt. Die Kombination aus allen hat uns einen unvergeßlichen Urlaub beschert. Das Appartement war sehr gut ausgestattet und dessen Ausblick hat uns stets in den Bann gezogen - solange bis wir zum direkt davorliegenden Strand inkl. Liegen und Sonnenschirm gegangen sind. Der Strand ist beliebt und belebt - auch wegen der Meeresfauna (Schildkröten, Stachelrochen, etc.) - aber nie überfüllt. Wer einen Strandurlaub auf Barbados abseits der Hotelszenerie mit Selbstversorgung sucht, ist bei diesem Angebot bestens aufgehoben.

Great location

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse Suite at the Brick house. The view from the living room/kitchen is just like the picture on website. The kitchen had everything we needed. All rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk outside . We enjoyed swimming and relaxing in the lounge chairs provided on the beach. It is a particularly beautiful stretch of beach and not crowded. We choose not rent a car and got around by walking and using the ZR vans ( it is only 2 BBD per person). There are many good restaurants easily reached from the Brick house. The owner, Jens, was on site during our stay . He was very helpful with any questions and offered assistance as needed. We hope to return to the Brick House next year.

This is a great place to stay...

The beach here is the reason we've been coming to Carlisle Bay on cruise stops for a few years. We decided we just had to stay ON the beach for longer than one day. Jens' Penthouse Suite is perfect for that. It takes about a minute to get to the greatest sand I've ever seen with calm, clear water to go along with it. There is a large umbrella with loungers just like you see at the beach bars for your use. The beach is just over one mile long from the rocks? by Bridgetown to the Radisson pier. You couldn't ask for a more gracious host. Jens as always ready with suggestions and set us up with a taxi driver to take us for an island tour. The penthouse was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed once we added our groceries. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms which we found we didn't really need. You can walk out the front door and get on a ZR van for $2 Barbadian and get anywhere from Oistins to Speightstown. A lot within walking distance, too. It isn't really a touristy area but takes only minutes to get to one. Being so close to the road you hear some road noise but after the first night I didn't really notice it anymore. We would love to come back and would not hesitate for a second to recommend it to anyone else. Two things; pay close attention to the instructions for the safe. They are very clear but you need to actually read them. And don't try vaulting the gate... :)

Perfect location great apartment

Lovely apartment that had everything I needed for a great stay just a few steps from a perfect beach . The plus point for this apartment is if you bring a snorkel and mask with you and you walk out on to the beach swim a short distance straight out you are guaranteed to see turtles every day as that’s where all the big catamaran tour boats moor up for them yet it still retains a sense of peacefulness as the beach never seems to be busy !! A very breezy clean open apartment with a fantastic view of the beach through the palms . Jens set everything up for us with informative emails etc before we arrived and Zico helped us with anything we needed whilst there . Ample parking spaces a few steps from the property a bit of traffic noise but everything I needed in the kitchen altogether so I was happy and I would definitely stay there again 😌
