Enjoy the outdoors with a hot tub, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, hammocks, front porch rocking chairs and a rock fire pit. Located just miles from the stunning Linville Gorge, Lake James, and the Fonta Flora Trail, you'll have access to all the outdoor adventures the foothills have to offer. Perfect for your next retreat, this peaceful getaway offers the tranquility you’ve been seeking!

Welcome to our rustic, farmhouse-style getaway—Bee at Peace! Nestled in a private setting with Russel Creek flowing gently behind, this cabin features custom furniture and personal touches that make it feel like home. Inside, enjoy a cozy living room with a large stone fireplace and gas logs. Outdoors, you’ll find a hot tub, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, hammocks, and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, all with the peaceful backdrop of Russel Creek.

AREA INFORMATION
Located just a few miles from incredible hiking and nature spots, you’ll have access to the Fonta Flora Trail (2 miles), Lake James State Park (8 miles), and the stunning Linville Gorge area. The Hawksbill, Table Rock, and Shortoff trails lead to breathtaking peaks surrounding the gorge. Upper Creek Falls, Linville Falls, and Catawba Falls are all nearby, offering fantastic waterfall views.

Enjoy the serenity of this cute cabin! We now have Wifi (June 2025)! While some guests may have minimal cell service, you can enable WiFi calling in settings on your cell phone and a short drive will bring you to full coverage.

Whether you’re hiking, swimming, biking, or simply relaxing in the crisp North Carolina mountain air, this peaceful retreat is the perfect place to unwind. We can’t wait to host you!

Our hosts were fantastic and had everything set up for a fun and relaxing weekend. We enjoyed their outside set up too, especially the fire pit and hot tub overlooking the mountain creek. We would definitely stay again!

We rent a cabin every Thanksgiving and this has been our favorite place! We had everything we needed to cook our meals and we were able to relax and unwind. Our dogs loved the property and we enjoyed the privacy. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable...we could not ask for more.

I felt safe and happy at this cabin!!! It was beautiful and very clean. They really have added a cozy touch. The hot tub adds a nice touch. If you are looking for peace, this is where you need to go!

Great Cabin!

Excellent home, great property. Our kids loved playing in the creek behind the house. Breweries and trails are so close, we enjoyed it all. Highly recommend.

It as peaceful as can be. Even my dog who is very anxious at home, is completely relaxed there. Has everything you need. Additional amenities such as hot tub, fire pit, and indoor and outdoor games although we just go for the solitude. Fonta Flora trail is a short ride at one end of the road. Many other trails to visit and Brown Mountain overlook within half hr to hr scenic drive from cabin. We just love it and will keep going back when we are able.

Relaxing hideaway

This place was awesome and what we needed for our quick getaway for some snowboarding at sugar mountain. Loved the peace and quiet surroundings and the hot tub and fire pit and everything. Nice place to stay. Would definitely go back.

We had an amazing weekend. Our 3 boys loved the creek in the back and we had a nice campfire and cooked smores! The cabin had everything we needed to make it a comfortable weekend. We enjoyed Lake James and hiking! The kids are already asking to go back!

Awesome getaway

The house and property was awesome! The location was close to Lake James for hiking, fishing, swimming and boat rentals. Plenty of things to do along with just relaxing at the house!
