Cozy Cabin on Lake James with Private Beach and Boat Dock

This unique Vacation Getaway is located on Beautiful Lake James at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. The waterfront cabin is the perfect place to Relax and enjoy the beauty and Sounds of Nature! Here you will enjoy your own Private White Sanded Beach equipped with Chairs where you have the options to Fish, Swim, Kayak, Pedal Boat or soak up the sunshine. As a guest you will have unlimited access to (2) paddle boards, (2) Kayaks and a 5 person Pedal Boat during your stay. The property has its own covered boat slip/dock with Rocking Chairs for your use and enjoyment. Also there is a hammock, gas grill and a Fire pit (wood is provided).
The Public Boat Access Ramp is conveniently located 1.2 miles away. Also close by are several hiking/nature trails, waterfalls, Lake James State Park, local Breweries and Wineries.

Asheville, home to the Biltmore House is 45 minutes away, Chimney Rock/Lake Lure is an hour away, the Blue Ridge Parkway is only a 20 minutes drive and Grandfather Mountain/Snow Skiing is one hour away. The Bear Creek Marina/Store/Restaurant is a short .02 walk from the cabin. At the Marina (during season) you can find Great Food and Entertainment from local talented musicians on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Enjoy Lake James!!!


If you are Looking to rent a boat during your stay at Lake James, we have a Bennington 22ft Pontoon with a 90 hp motor that you can rent for the day or for the entire duration of your trip.
The charge is $350 per 8 hour day and if you want it multiple days there is a discount!

This is our second time vacationing in this cabin, and as always, Kimberly is amazing. She responds quickly to any concerns and keeps the place clean, well prepared, and stocked with everything you need. The sunsets were beautiful, and the cabin is so quiet and relaxing, t’s also very easy to access groceries the supermarket is about five miles up the road, and there are pharmacies, restaurants, and other stores nearby as well. we absolutely love it!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this lakefront VRBO! The cabin was cozy, clean, and just the right size for our family of three. The bear-themed decor was charming without being overdone. We loved swimming in the lake, and the outdoor area with the fireplace and beach was perfect for relaxing and having fun. The paddle boat was a great touch, keeping us entertained all weekend. Highly recommend this spot for a family getaway!

We loved staying here! There are so many nice outdoor areas to enjoy .... the porch is so cozy, the beach is wonderful - especially for our dog, and sitting on the dock first thing in the morning having coffee was so relaxing. Loved all the outdoor string lights at night and having a fire in the fire pit!

Lake James Playground!

My husband and I just spent a week at the “cozy cabin” on Lake James and had an amazing time! The cabin is adorable, exactly as described with so many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit, private beach, and boat/dock area. The weather was a bit sketchy, but that allowed us to explore local breweries and towns near by. Communication with the host was outstanding. We cannot say enough good things about this perfect little piece of lakeside paradise. We will be back!
