We stayed here only on night but would have definitely stayed several more if we could. The views from the back patio are amazing. Host was helpful with directions and made our stay very comfortable.
We were all going to help someone move so only stayed one night, but the place was clean, directions were excellent, and the house was roomy and comfortable. This would be a great place in the summer time overlooking the lake. We wished we were able to stay longer!! Lol!
The house is nice, but not quite luxury like stated. The pictures make it look like it’s secluded but that wasn’t quite the case there’s three houses right underneath the property. Little pricey for what it is
The only complaint is that the hand towels in the bathroom are utterly useless. And we could have used some actual wash cloths.
After that, The beds are super comfy.
Well stocked with coffee options.
Amazing view.
I could easily spend a week here.
Great view from patio. The kitchen seemed to be in the middle of a renovation (missing backsplash tiles) and the molding around the living room wasn't complete. Lots and lots of flying bugs in the bedrooms and hallway bathroom. There was a bug zapper in the living room that would go off randomly even in the middle of the night. Beds were comfortable and master shower was nice. Was just a bit disappointed in the property based on how much we paid per night.

Hey Eryn. With any input - good, bad or indifferent we always appreciate it!! That being said, just a couple quick notes/feedback. There is no ongoing kitchen renovation, the tiles are arranged intentionally as a geometric pattern as well as the slat wall molding. We understand not everyone is aware of this modern trend but just so that you know that’s actually an intentional design choice versus an incomplete one :-) In regards to the bugs - yes that is part of being in the woods and surrounded by nature. We provide the outdoor and indoor bug lights for the 2 month period it’s at its peak, but guests are more than welcome to turn them off if they’d like to not hear the zapper. But unfortunately it’s hard to control nature when you live in the middle of it. However all that being said thanks for your input!! Tim and Lynn

Good View but not Ideal for 6 adults over 60.
There was a wonderful view of the Lake. The Master Bed was ok however one bed is on a wood pallet on the floor. The wood pallet was a trip hazard and the bed was against a wall. Very hard to get in and out of. The 3rd bedroom also had a bed that you could only get into from the front side and the mattress sunk very low. This set up is fine for a family with kids that could sleep in these type of beds but is not ideal for adults. I would recommend queen beds up off the floor at a standard height that can be accessed from both sides of the bed. There was plenty of room for this set up. Also I prefer a top sheet with blankets instead of a duvet only. The sectional in the living area was also very low to the ground and hard to get in and out of. The decor was cute. Communication with the owner/manager was very good.

Hey Joni. I’m sorry you felt that way about the beds as we haven’t had any complaints to date in regards to your specific complaints, but we will always evaluate your feedback. The sofa is a brand new couch from West Elm that many people have asked us for the link to purchase and again to date we haven’t had any complaints, but we understand everyone has their own perspective. In regards to the 3rd bedroom it is for the daybed ,and is mostly set up for people to enjoy a view of watching the lake from that area. The reason we use the duvet and not the flat sheet is because we wash the duvet cover and mattress sheet every single time, not like a typical hotel that only washes the flat sheet. But again thanks for your feedback and thanks for staying with us.

Everything was great, wonderful home. One note, not a complaint, just an FYI, if you have a trailer it is not possible to park at this property. I was pulling a trailer with motorcycles and had to leave the trailer and bikes elsewhere during my stay.

Nice home, great views but not comfortable for couples. Not truly pet friendly.
Nice deck and views. Not really the place for adult couples or pets. This is not a walkable neighborhood so walking your dogs requires a car ride. No comfortable place outside for the dogs to just chill (except the deck) because of all the gravel and the drop offs into blackberry bushes. The master was fine but the other beds are set up so one partner is against the wall. One bed is just a mattress on a pallet (trip hazzard and too low). Sectional in living room is too low. Kitchen/home amenities were good. The home was clean. Communication with owner was good. Would be a great place for a couple with kids who can sleep on anything.
Wonderfully set up house with lots of space to hang out inside or out. We were a little warm during the day as the house lacks AC, but that was the only downside. We enjoyed the well setup kitchen and outdoor bbq, the fire pit saw several s'mores created, and as others have stated the neighborhood deer visits daily to munch on blackberries. Would definitely rent this house again.
We had a great time at this property and the location was perfect for our dunes adventure. We loved the view and appreciated the well stocked coffee station each morning. We also experienced good communication with the host before, during and after our trip.
We were in Lakeside visiting friends. Our group needed individual privacy plus entertainment space. This home has a great view of the lake, nice outdoor living space and comfortable interior plus pet friendly. We built a fire and made s'mores. Easy access to the town of Lakeside and to the Dunes.
We loved this home! Great view of the lake and 5min to Spinreel campground at the sand dunes. We enjoyed the view, BBQ, fire pit, and coffee bar daily. The home was fully equipped with everything you’ll need and was clean. Couldn’t ask for a better home!
The Ambience of this Re-Treat was exceptional. Quiet/Peaceful/Relaxing.. I felt like I was on a private forestry hilltop overlooking the Lake. We Spent the Fourth of July Weekend here. Spending mornings on the deck and Firepit in the evening was the highlight. Comfortable beds. Extra Blankets/Pillows.. Loved the Coffee Bar. Enjoyed fixing our own meals-Highly Recommended and soaking up this place
From the ease of checking to the simple checkout there was nothing that didn't exceed expectations! The location high up above the lake provided gorgeous views and cool breezes making the deck and fireplace areas absolutely perfect. The incredibly clean house had so many little details in each room that there isn't time to mention specifics... absolutely perfectly appointed. I will be coming back with my family asap to enjoy again!
This was better than I thought. The space was so thoughtful and inviting. Loved the coffee/cocktail bar. Everything was perfect from first day to last. These guys know how to set up a vacation rental.
Nice home, spectacular view, comfortable surroundings. Lots to do in the area. Besides the obvious dunes and lake activities, we enjoyed great hikes at South Slough, Golden & Silver Falls, Bandon Beach, Sunset Bay, and Cape Arago. We want to come back and kayak South Slough, but best done in the summer. The hosts here are very welcoming and attentive. Nice job on the remodel; really well planned with attention to detail. We recommend it!
We came to Oregon to go crabbing and this home was perfect for our family to enjoy for the week! The views are amazing, the kids enjoyed the fire pit, Netflix, cozy rooms and we loved that it had all the conveniences of home. Thank you!

Traveling is adventure, and I think adventure comes in staying and doing unique things. I love staying off the beaten path whether it be hosting or traveling. I believe it’s the little things that you remember in a trip, and usually not the grand things you may have originally envisioned.
Why they chose this property
We bought this cabin as a means to be close to our son who goes to UofO in Eugene. We wanted to find a unique location that would allow us to have privacy, but still having the small town feel but close enough to all the fun outdoor activities. We love the view from the deck, the privacy the home affords and all the amenities inside the home.
What makes this property unique
This home is unique in that its gated, private and offers amazing views from the bedrooms and deck. It was completely renovated in 2019 and this modern, cozy space offers every amenity from a full deck for entertaining, fire pit in the backyard and brand new everything inside that comes with all modern amenities including Smart TV and high-speed WiFi for those needing to stay connected while being checked out :-)
