This apartment is a gem. It was absolutely fantastic, meticulous, spacious and comfortable. The decor is somewhat retro and cheery. The bathrooms are completely updated. The owner, Roberto, was gracious and accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay here. We were perfectly located between the main train station and the old historical part of the city so it was great for walking just about anywhere. I would highly recommend this property for any length of stay, but if you are looking for a longer term stay, I can’t imagine a better place to stay.

Wonderful apartment and wonderful hosts

We had a lovely stay in the apartment in Bologna. It’s so well situated- close to all the attractions but felt very local. The apartment itself is beautiful - so clean and beautifully presented. Roberto and Marta were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to be so accommodating and helpful. Everything was well thought out, from the well stocked kitchen to the phone chargers in every bedroom and the vast amount of information provided to make our stay in Bologna as comfortable as possible. A truly wonderful holiday - thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Bologna. It’s less than a 15 minute walk to the train station, with groceries and multiple restaurants and fantastic gelato within a 10 minute walk. The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly matched the pictures in the listing. There was plenty of space for my husband and I and our teenager to spread out. It has an air conditioning unit in every room, which was very helpful on the warm days and nights. The hosts were superb and thoughtful. I would absolutely stay at this apartment again on a future trip to Bologna!

Perfect and Spacious Apartment in Bologna

Roberto and Marta were wonderful hosts. If we needed anything they were anxious to help. The apartment was perfectly appointed with everything you could ask for. The location was as advertised. A short walk to the train station for day tours and a 5 minute walk to the center of the old town. There was a great store 3 minutes away and cappucino's and pastry's along the way. Roberto and Marta put together binders for everything helpful to support your stay. Bravo / Fantastico and any other positive adjectives to Roberto and Marta. Luxury Oasis in Bologna

Clean, efficient and well appointed apartment centrally located in the heart of Bologna. Easy walk to shops, center and train with a quiet ambience at home. Our host was friendly and supportive with any questions we had about our stay and even provided meticulus guides for go-to restaurants and stores. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect in every way!!!!

The apartment is even nicer in person than in the photos- tranquil- spotless- lots of natural light- convenient to everything. Roberto and Marta provide extensive and clear written instructions to everything you need in your native language - all appliances- restaurants- shopping- day trips- local tourist sites- etc.we were in the apartment for 2 weeks and really enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was perfect. Roberto and Marta are so friendly and helpful. They have done everything to make sure your stay in their apartment goes smoothly. We hope to come back soon and have no reservations in recommending this apartment .- it is perfect- well appointed- modernized and well equipped.

Stop your search - you've found your perfect place in Bologna

We just spent a wonderful week at this spacious, modern apartment in the heart of Bologna. The hosts were terrific and have included a number of helpful recommendations on sights, restaurants, shopping and other excursions in this incredible city. The kitchen and bathrooms are very up to date and while the apartment is just steps off a main thoroughfare, it is quiet and gets a ton of natural light. Would highly recommend.

Perfecto!

This apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for an extended stay in Bologna. It was a 20 min walk to Piazza Maggiore with plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants near by. Roberto and Marta were very thoughtful hosts. I would recommend this apartment if traveling in Bologna or it’s surrounds.

A lovely place to stay in Bologna!

We spent 8 nights at the apartment and found it to be very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and conveniently located. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the marble floors were beautiful. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the train station and a 2 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket. There are plenty of nearby restaurants to chose from. The hosts, Marta and Roberto, were very responsive and always helpful. We could not have been more pleased, and would happily stay here again!

Delightful appartment

This apartment is beautifully decorated in French provincial style. It is very comfortable with interesting features. It is also provided with plenty of informative and or entertaining literature on the shelves. We stayed there as it was close to the historic centre with all its wonderful churches, museums and typical alley ways and buildings. We enjoyed the local cuisine at local restaurants. The walk to the station is only 15 minutes. I would have been happy to stay longer that five nights.

Beautiful apartment, excellent location

We had the privilege of staying in this well appointed, clean apartment. It had all the comforts of home and more. Our landlords Roberto and Marta were warm and welcoming and very ready to help if you needed something. There are markets very close by and if you wish to enjoy the wonderful produce and make use of the lovely kitchen you couldn't ask for a more convenient location. The apartment was quiet and within easy walking to any of the many interesting places to visit in Bologna, and there are many! We have travelled extensively throughout Italy and this would have to be one of the best apartments we've stayed in.

Lovely stay in Bologna

Our family stayed in Roberto and Marta’s wonderful apartment for 2.5 weeks. The location was perfect. It is in the historical center but on the edge so it was a nice quiet place to return to. The apartment is lovely. It’s light and bright. The bedrooms are roomy and the kitchen was efficient. You can tell that Roberto and Marta take pride in what they do. They provided a lot of information for Bologna as well as other areas and Roberto was always available to help or answer any questions. I would love to return to Bologna and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

A great apartment and wonderful hosts

Roberto and Marta are experienced hosts, and it shows in the way they have organised their wonderful apartment. As well as being a talented (but modest!) artist, Roberto was terrific to deal with during our week in Bologna. He was always on hand to deal with any questions we had and could not have been more accommodating. They have many suggestions and tips for getting the most out of your stay. We enjoyed their local dinner recommendation. There is a good PAM supermarket a short stroll away for all your self catering needs. Thank you again Roberto and Marta!

Flawless

We stayed a total of 12 nights from 12/18-12/30/24. Family of five; two generations with three in their early 30s. This contemporary apartment is exactly as described: very well taken care of, emasculate, everything is in excellent working condition and the owners have not overlooked a single detail. Bologna is a wonderful eclectic and lively city that is very easy to traverse on foot. The apartment’s location is perfect and allowed us to walk to and from the train station to visit Florence, Pisa, Modena, Ravenna, Parma, San Marino and Venice for day trips as well as enjoy days and evenings in wonderful Bologna. The hosts are available to help with tips and advice throughout and are amazingly patient with those new to the city. We left our beloved Parmesan cheese that we bought in Parma and Roberto did not hesitate to ship it express to us. I have traveled internationally for over 55 years and between the five of us, we have visited about 70 countries and stayed in about every kind of accommodation from “salty” to luxury and this will be one of our all time favorites. If you stay here, I implore you to treat it respectfully and with care. These owners deserve that at the very least. Happy New Year, Marta and Roberto!

Welcoming Home Base in Bologna

We were welcomed to Bologna by our smiling hosts Marta and Roberto, who, throughout our stay of three weeks, could not have been more helpful. They have taken great care to present the area of Emelia-Romana generally and Bologna specifically with a plethora of tourist material, such that our tourist stay was informed and thoroughly enjoyable. The apartment itself is beautifully and tastefully modernized and the condition and cleanliness is at a high level. The apartment is also so homey and welcoming because of the décor—beautifully chosen artwork and soft furnishings. The location is very convenient to the train station but it is also convenient to all the city sites. We were able to walk to the corners of the city but were never too far away from Casa di Marta to come back for a pit stop if we so wished to do so. We highly enjoyed our stay at Casa di Marta and appreciated our caring Italian hosts.

Only 5 Stars -- Deserves 10 or more!

This is our second time visiting Bologna. Both times we have stayed at this awesome apartment. Not only is the location beyond perfect with bus stop right outside the front door and the train station only a 10 minute walk, you can walk to old town area easily. The apartment is extremely comfortable, immaculate clean and very well stocked. Cooking was a joy in this beautiful modern kitchen. The washer came in handy as we were there for a week. The bedroom was perfect. Very comfy bed. Excellent library as well. The owners Roberto and Marta were delightful and a great source of information on everything this amazing City offers... Right down to the best local restaurant. Which I will say we visited so much the waiter recognized us from previous visits. I am sure we will visit Bologna again and definitely stay at this fabulous apartment. j 5 Star rating is short changing this beautiful apartment, it definitely deserves 10 Stars or more!
