This was a perfect place for a home base during our 16 days in Italy. Roberto and Marta were incredibly gracious hosts. The home was exactly as described and depicted in the listing. The home was clean and well stocked. It was easy to see that our hosts take pride in their property and hosting. Roberto was a great communicator and helped us with all our questions and needs. If we’re ever in Bologna again, we’ll definitely book another stay.

We rented in Antibes, Seville and Paris and this apartment was by far the best experience on every level. The location was great -10 minute walk to the train and/or the historic center with the sights and cafes. The apt was clean, colorful and 3 renovated bathrooms. The hosts Marta and Roberto were available on day one to meet us and demonstrate how all appliances worked. They kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure all went well. The kitchen was fully equipped in case you wanted to cook. It was a spectacular experience. We could move in!

Great location, easily walkable from station and Bologna centre. Apartment in pristine condition and elegantly furnished and decorated, very stylish. Kitchen really well appointed. Lovely hosts, great communication, amazing range of guide sheets available about Italy in general and Bologna specifically. Easy and welcoming check-in. Lovely touch with the clocks (no spoiler here). A brilliant base to make the most of Bologna.

My wife and I stayed here for a month this year. I don't think we could have picked a better property to stay at. The apartment is spacious and everything was in order. It was quiet and is perfectly located. Our walk to the train station was about 12 minutes and the walk to Piazza Maggiore was about 15 minutes. A supermarket was a block and a half away. Roberto met us outside when we first arrived by taxi from the airport and helped us get a taxi for our return trip to the airport. We had a great time here and I'd highly recommend this apartment.

Roberto our host was wonderful. Lots of communication before out stay and lots of useful information for visitors during the stay. Apartment was very well located close to station and old town centre. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

We have traveled extensively in Italy from the US and this apartment exceeded our expectations! We were there with 4 adults and one child. The setup worked great for us and we appreciated the crib and highchair for our granddaughter. The apartment is ideally located in Bologna, equal walking distance between major attractions like Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers and the train station for our day trips. The space was bright, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with a gorgeous primary bathroom with a huge shower and a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable large beds. The bedrooms had automatic black out blinds so sleeping was peaceful and quiet.Roberto was wonderful—quick to respond, helpful with recommendations for restaurants and attractions and provided great instructions for everything in the apartment He genuinely wanted us to have a great vacation! The neighborhood felt safe, quiet and authentic, giving us a real sense of daily life in Bologna. PAN and COOP grocers were both a short walk as was a cute park for our granddaughter with a gelato stop on the way back. . Highly recommended Roberto and the apartment for anyone visiting the city!

This apartment is a gem. It was absolutely fantastic, meticulous, spacious and comfortable. The decor is somewhat retro and cheery. The bathrooms are completely updated. The owner, Roberto, was gracious and accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay here. We were perfectly located between the main train station and the old historical part of the city so it was great for walking just about anywhere. I would highly recommend this property for any length of stay, but if you are looking for a longer term stay, I can’t imagine a better place to stay.

Beautiful, functional, a joy to stay in Bologna

Apartment was absolutely perfect as depicted in owner's photos. Very well decorated and had every convenience a traveler would need. owners were very gracious hosts, making us feel very much at home and helped tremendously with our limited Italian. Close to many tourist attractions , restaurants ,shopping and supermarket.Would definitely stay there again.

From the initial request to book to departure the owners were fantastic. The apartment was supplied with everything you could possibly need. The owner provided so much information about restaurants, the area, tours, etc. everything was fantastic!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Lovely Apartment in Bologna

We loved our stay at Roberto and Marta’s lovely apartment. Roberto really makes the process so easy from check in and through out your stay. He is so responsive to any questions you might have as well as providing lots of information regarding local restaurants, day trips, etc. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and having laundry came in handy during our stay. We loved the location a little outside the main tourist area so quieter but still an easy 10-15 walk to Piazza Maggiore and other sites. Also very close to the train station for day trips. We loved our stay and hoping to visit again soon.

Wonderful Stay

Throughly enjoyed the stay. The apartment is very close a 10 to 15 walk to all the sites. The apt is very nice and well appointed. Would differently stay there again. Roberto is easy to work with and is very helpful.

Wonderful apartment and wonderful hosts

We had a lovely stay in the apartment in Bologna. It’s so well situated- close to all the attractions but felt very local. The apartment itself is beautiful - so clean and beautifully presented. Roberto and Marta were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to be so accommodating and helpful. Everything was well thought out, from the well stocked kitchen to the phone chargers in every bedroom and the vast amount of information provided to make our stay in Bologna as comfortable as possible. Thanks for a great stay!

The location was ideal for walking to all the main tourist sites in Bologna and within easy reach of the rail station for day trips to the other main centres in Emilia Romagna. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and were always available to assist if we had a problem. They provided all the information we needed to plan our trip and were particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Great Stay in Every Way

Property central, clean, quiet, and spacious. Equipped with many extras, such as cables for phones and ipads in every room, everything you could need in the kitchen, and written suggestions for restaurants, with maps to show how to walk there. EXCELLENT hosts: welcoming, helpful when you phone, forthcoming with ideas for concerts and such. Cannot praise enough.

Wonderful clean beautiful apartment

Our family came to visit and take day trips to Venice and Florence as well as experience the food and culture of Bologna. We even saw a Serie A game Bologna vs Lecce. Roberto and Marta make sure that you are taken care of in every way. It feels like a home away from home.
