Everything was perfect for our little family getaway. Very clean, and welcoming. Will be returning next time we go to that area. The hot tub was nice and cozy on the cold snowy nights..
This is a well cared for property. There are places to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. The inside is inviting and relaxing. If you venture away from the property there are two state parks close by Turkey Run and Shades. In Crawfordsville there is the Rotary Jail museum and Terra Haute has the Candles Holocaust museum.
This cabin was perfect for our group of 4. We were visiting the area to go hiking at Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Spent the morning and early afternoons at the parks and then back to the cabin to cook a meal and enjoy the great outdoor deck area. The cornhole boards and hot tub were enjoyed.
We genuinely enjoyed our stay away from home with family. Our only surprising thing we encountered was two master suites, should know there is not a hall bath. We definitely adjusted, only was not aware of. Would visit again!
A beautiful cabin and property in the woods near Sugar Creek! Felt like a good away from home. My family and I had a great time and would love to come back again!
The cabin is cozy and equipped with everything we needed for a two-night stay! We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub, surrounded by the woods and creek. Highly recommended!

About the host

My husband and I live in Marshall, Indiana with our family. We both work in the local school systems and enjoy family time, the outdoors, and spending time with friends. Our desire is that all those who visit and call Eagles Rise their home away from home may find Hope, rest, and refreshment~all while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. My husband bought this property 20 years ago and fell in love with the scenery. However, the cabin needed some TLC. Over the years, it has undergone extensive remodeling and we are excited to invite you as our guests to, we hope, enjoy a place we love and enjoy.
