Sunny Mountain Chalet with the Rocky Top Private Bar is a magical property with stunning home, detached bar/game room with hot tub outside on covered deck, enchanting gardens and beautiful views! Open & inviting, w/new hardwood flooring, super-upgraded chef's kitchen (Miele appliances: stove, microwave/convection oven, steam oven, electric oven, warmer tray, et al) with walk-in food pantry and heated floors & counter tops. Luxurious master suite in upper level with spa-like bath including steam shower, air & light therapy tub, & lots of natural light. 2 lower level bedroom suites with full in suite bathrooms. Additional bedroom also in lower level. Beautifully landscaped yard, 14x20 bar/ entertainment building with the "Rocky Top Bar" inside, with amazing decks and private hot tub. Oversized 2-car garage completes the package.

Close to everything

Sunny Mountain Chalet is a fantastic property. It is close to everything and yet far enough away to feel secluded. Some wildlife wandered through the property adding to our visit. The downstairs bedrooms are perfect for the kiddos. Can’t wait to return

Another great stay!

We spent another month at this lovely home while our son attended a local camp and will be back again. We just love the close proximity to town, views and all the house has to offer. The kitchen is well stocked, house amenities are great, and the bar makes a great office. Dennis is great with communication and quick to follow up. Thank you for another great stay!

Gorgeous Home away from Home!!

We spent one month with our family of 5 (and hosted other family members throughout the stay!) in this BEAUTIFUL home! The location is excellent - walking distance to downtown, quick access to RMNP and a great circle neighborhood for an evening walk! It was sparkling clean, beautifully furnished, and the kitchen is fully stocked and equipped for even a “foodie!” We really enjoyed using the brand new gas grill. The home includes plenty of extra towels and bed linens and was well stocked with the basic necessities to get you started. The spacious deck offers great views of downtown and is the perfect place to enjoy meals! We saw tons of wildlife including elk, deer, chipmunks, bunnies, and lots of beautiful birds! Dennis and Margaret were excellent hosts! They met us upon arrival to show us around and tell us how everything worked - which was very helpful. They were quick to respond to texts when we had questions. We are already thinking about when we can come back!!

Great location and well kept house!

My husband and I rented this house for a month while our son attended a local camp. The house had so many thoughtful amenities and was in a great location. We loved walking the loop with our dog and the short walk into town. The detached bar room made for a great office while working remotely. The fenced off backyard gave us piece of mind when we were enjoying the yard with our dog. The owners were great with communication. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Our Best Summer!

This summer in Estes was the best vacation we've ever been on. This wonderful house was the center of a family gathering, friend visits and lots of adventures! Everything was absolutely perfect. We loved the location, the layout of the house, the Rocky Top bar, and the backyard and view. I have looked at so many houses in Estes to rent and there is not another listing that offers so much for such a reasonable price. We will be back!!

Mountain Perfection!!

I was working in the area and had the pleasure of having this as my home base. The pictures and description don’t quite do the property justice. It is located in the perfect spot.. close to town but you still feel very secluded. The home was immaculate with many thoughtful touches added throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and is a chef’s dream. This is a lovely home in a perfect location and will stay here as often as possible. You will not be disappointed with this little mountain gem! The owners are fantastic and very responsive. This is a 5 star property all the way. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Like Your Own Mini Mountain Resort

The main house checked all the boxes, 4 good size bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 gas and 1 wood-burning fireplace, 4 bathrooms, one equipped with both a jetted tub and a steam shower. 2 of the bedrooms had cable TVs. Everything was clean and everyone was comfortable. It was the great room in the main house and the separate bar/game building that made our stay special for everyone. The main room had comfortable couches facing a fireplace and a very large TV, a large dining table, and a large, well-stocked cook's kitchen. Just out the door from the main room sat the separate bar/game room building. It had an 8 ft bar with stools, a refrigerator and a cabinet to display the refreshments and hold the glasses. There were 2 additional tables with stools, neon signs, video games, a good stereo, and another very large TV. After almost a year of covid restrictions, this was a bar with no such rules. In addition to the covered porch outside the bar there is a hot tub. Both the main house and bar were sited to take advantage of the views of the surrounding mountains and the town below.

Great quiet, peaceful location and neighborhood street. Houses on largest lots in town. Good separation and privacy. Yard Elev 7,677. Superb landscaping and mountain views. Comfortable, tidy lodging. Top end appliances, bedding and automation. Everything was on hand for kitchen utensils, grilling, coffee brewing options and food storage. Stable wifi coverage; excellent cable tv and streaming packages. Superb summer weather; cool temps. Something new everyday with wild animals passing through. Responsive and attentive property management. City hospital close by if needed.
