Former Model Home on the Big Thompson River, AC, 1mi to EP & 2mi to RMNP/fishing
Estes Park Vacation Rental License #6021
This home was a former model home with Builder claimed "best views in the entire development"!!
Riverbend Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and a snowcap view of Long's Peak from the deck; and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat.
From Riverbend Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!!
From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill!
The cozy master bedroom en suite is also located on the main level. Open the windows and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep.
A second family room is located in the lower level along with 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and 2 twins) and a full bath. From this level you can walk-out onto the covered patio and spot elk and other wildlife moseying along the Big Thompson River! Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!
A two car attached garage space comes with this rental. There is also a main floor laundry room.
As our guest you will enjoy access to HOA-shared common fishing areas along the Big Thompson river.
Wildlife sightings abound with frequent visits from elk, deer, wild turkeys and even an occasional bobcat.

This property was amazing! The hosts were outstanding in every way. Best communications we’ve ever had with a host. The home was immaculate, well furnished, and exceeded our expectations!
We absolutely love this house. Close to downtown, close to the national park. There is always wildlife around and the location right on the river is ideal!
Beautiful and perfectly-maintained cabin, welcoming hosts, awesome amenities and stunning views of the Big Thompson from the grand windows, amazing upper deck and lower level patio! January 2026 online pictures were recent and a perfect representation of what you can expect of the property.
If there is a perfect place to stay...this is as close as it could possibly be. Beautiful home, well equipped, very clean. We couldn't have been more happy with both the house and location. Sue (the property manager) was extremely easy to work with as well. She reached out to check if everything was okay, and made the whole process delightful. We couldn't be more happy with this stay!
Our stay was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed and the house was immaculate, the view next to the river was calming. The host answered any question immediately. We will definitely stay here again.
This is the ideal mountain home. When you walk in and see the river, right outside the back deck, it is mesmerizing. We could not think of one negative about Riverbend Lodge. Beautifully decorated and all the comforts of home, in a great mountain setting. We will definitely be back next year.
This home was perfect for an extended family vacation. It sits on a beautiful stretch of the river and has plenty of room for sitting in the patio, family dinners, and spreading out inside. The managers are exceptionally helpful and communicative. The walking path along the river is the icing on the cake. Such a wonderful home!
We loved this cabin! The location is incredible. The house is spacious and clean and has everything you’d need. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back soon!
This property is absolutely everything you see. It is a fantastic location with a beautiful view. We will be back to stay at length. We love this house!! *****
This home is beautifully furnished and is well equipped with everything you might need. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and the view along the stream is lovely. The check in and communication were seamless. We absolutely loved it, and we plan to return next winter.
Everything was perfect about this property. Beautiful, spotless, with breathtaking views. Every transaction was seamless! We would definitely stay here again!
My first thought when seeing the place in person was, "How much do they want for it?" Great spot, quiet, nice view of woods and stream, comfortable, spacious, close to RMN park but also a lot of great places to eat.
This property is amazing! Absolutely beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and then some. There was space to spread out but also all hang out together. The manager was really responsive and wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again!
