About this property

Facilities all year round

It’s a family vacation home, fully equipped with all the essentials to enjoy your stay. A fully equipped kitchen with all your needs to make your dinner plus bbq area on the porch(if you use it please leave clean or $25 to be clean by the cleaning lady.). A nice entertainment/ leisure area at basement (professional pool table.) Year round amenities both outdoor and indoor are all included in the price like the pool, football and tennis court, hot tub, skiing resort,gym and etc. all the amenities are restricted because of COVID-19, the facilities have been running at half capacity, they are not selling extras passes for the amenities. Its a kid friendly community. We also have a great restaurant inside the community called On Top of The World, they offer Karaoke night, very good food from different cultures. The house is suitable for children’s.
Once your book! A deposit of $500 can be required. I will be sending a registration form needs to be completed after reservation as per community( an extra fee will be applied $50 to $75 per reservation)

Our stay was not ideal and my interactions with the host were also not great. We stayed here a week after a snow storm and the driveway was not plowed nearly enough. We had 3 cars in the driveway and had to physically push them out because of how poorly the driveway was shoveled. It was 2 degrees out the day of our stay and when we got there the heat was OFF!! It was FREEZING inside and took the entire night to heat up. After leaving she accused my party of damaging her front door (which we did not do). Just a wild experience and would not recommend especially if you’re coming during the winter. Only plus was how many beds there were.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the driveway, the property was cleared after the snowstorm prior to your arrival. However, with winter conditions and extremely low temperatures, snow and ice can sometimes accumulate again quickly. I always recommend guests use caution during winter stays and reach out if additional assistance is needed. The heating system was on a standard energy-saving setting prior to arrival, which is common in many homes when guests are not present. Once adjusted, the system works properly and warms the home. Regarding the door, I simply asked about the damage because it was noticed after checkout, which is part of the normal host process to clarify any changes to the property. I appreciate your note about the number of beds, and I’m glad that part of the home worked well for your group. I always aim to provide a comfortable stay and take guest feedback seriously.

Gators Review

We definitely enjoyed our stay on the property however there are few items that could be improved upon. 1) Parking is not clearly marked. 2) Heat in the living room and basement is not adequate 3) Bathroom lock on the 2nd floor is reverse and we technically couldn't use it as it wouldn't lock 4) Cleanliness could be definitely improved on. Ton of Holiday decoration still lying around.

Fraudulent Property Manager

The house was neat and mostly clean which would have been fine. We were 8 adults (4 couples) over the age of 50. We were staying there after watching our daughters play college lax. We were not given the house code until after we paid the house manager via Venmo or cash app which is not supported by VRBO. There was no hot water in the upstairs shower. Then she reported to VRBO there was “damage” charge but she emailed me saying she normally charges for not putting the garbage in the community dumpster but since I removed it from the house and put in the outside garbage pail she would only charge me half!! I already paid the cleaning fee. My recommendation is to stay anywhere else in this community!! This property manager is full of scams.

The pricing of this house is not aligned with the appointments that one would expect in a nice rental home. This property is obviously not lived in by the owner and designed for rental income, yet it has old and incomplete bedding (no top sheets on any of the beds- seems really gross for people to be just on the blankets), no coffee grinder to use with coffee machine, and alienating religious decor in the main living space. The most egregious issue is the musky smell throughout the house. There is only one AC on the first level and it is clear that the house is humid and traps moisture throughout, making the entire house smell damp. The windows in two of the upstairs bedrooms had no screens, so we could not open the windows for air. The master bedroom has cobwebs and dust swinging from the ceiling as well. The original listing mentions an additional fee but the host did not clarify until right before arriving. The request for additional funds for the community registration is incredibly off-putting and should simply be incorporated into the cost of renting the house (even though the house is already severely overpriced for what it is.) Lastly an absurd list of rules was sent including that trash needed to be removed and dropped at the dump (why isn’t the cleaning fee covering this?) and that if the grill was used then we needed to clean it or pay more for it to be cleaned. The host also wrote that our check out time was 11am, even though vrbo listing said 12.

Great outdoors holiday

Very nice and clean house with lots of amenities available in the resort. Close to the great outdoors of Poconos and DWG, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great weekend

We stayed at this house this past weekend and enjoyed everything about it. It was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. Nice big porch to have your BBQ. Would stay here again.
