Fabulous stay for a long weekend at Sunday River. The house is about a 20 minute drive from the slopes and a welcome return after a long day skiing. We loved the hot tub and cozying up by the fire. Very impressed by the extensive amenities and organization. And, comfy beds!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home which is exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean, had many nice amenities, and is situated on a very large a secluded lot which we really liked. We also loved exploring the very charming town of Bethel. Great Stay!

House was perfect for us - exactly as described and pictured. We did not wish for anything - it was all in the house. Very nicely laid out and furnished - cozy spot for winter trip. Weather did not cooperate for skiing but Bethel was cute and we tried many local spots for meals. Location is quiet and a few short steps from the river and a walking path that was lovely even in the winter.

An Incredible Experience

We had a fantastic stay at the Riverfront Farmhouse. The design & interiors of this vacation home are well thought out...pleasing, intuitive & well appointed. The sighting of the house on the beautiful wooded lot is perfect for privacy, views of the woods and southern exposure. We spent several March afternoons on the sun filled deck. In addition, the hosts thought of everything to accommodate our comfort and needs. We felt welcomed and communication was excellent.

Fantastic stay, great house

We shared this beautiful home with another family (4 adults, 3 teens, 2 pre-teens) and had a fantastic stay on our ski vacation. This home has all the amenities, and the hosts go above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need. The kitchen has everything you could need, including most spices and other cooking supplies. The hosts also provide snacks, sweets, and most basic toiletries in case you leave something behind. Communication with the hosts was great and our check-in was smooth. The house is a short drive from either Sunday River resort or Mt. Abram, and is close to the town of Bethel. Will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

Such a wonderful home!

This home is so beautiful and comfortable. The owners went above and beyond to welcome our family and stock the home with not just essentials, but all those little things one usually forgets to pack. Also, you can walk out the back door, straight into the woods and onto trails. It honestly, is the best holiday home we have booked.

This house is beautiful! Located 15 minutes from Sunday River and close to Bethel center in a neighborhood of new homes. The house is beautifully appointed with attention to details and making guests feel at home. Super clean, fully stocked, brand new. We didn’t want to leave. The fireplace and natural light warm the relaxing space.

Perfect for Sunday River

This house has everything that you could need. It was a perfect location for our annual Sunday River Ski Weekend with our friends. Close to the mountain but also a very private location. Rocco and Jillian exceed our expectations for a home rental. We would definitely come back again!

This house deserves 10 stars

The house is immaculate not just clean, beautiful, well decorated, well stocked, comfortable with plenty of space and feels cozy at the same time. The kitchen has more than enough dishes, pots and pans, glasses everything you need to prepare meals. Bathrooms have plenty of towels. Extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms. The location is peaceful but not far from town. There is a path from the back of the property to a trail for walking and snow shoeing. Jillian and Rocco are generous owners we appreciated the welcome basket and treats you left us. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Great family vacation spot

Brand new, clean, cozy house with all the amenities. The house offers everything a family needs for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, including special touches like snacks, games, and stocked cabinets. Beautiful house - amazing hosts

My fiancé and I and our French Brittany had an amazing stay at Jillian and Rocco's beautiful property. The house is very new and looks just like the pictures - immaculate and very spacious while also being cozy and inviting. Jillian has thought of every amenity we could possibly need during our stay, ranging from bug spray to cooking staples to treats for both us and our dog. The back deck is very spacious, as is the hot tub, so we were able to spend plenty of time outside. (Even in the evenings. There are citronella tiki torches around the perimeter of the deck because, as I said, they have thought of everything.) Jillian is a great communicator and replied quickly to all of our messages before our stay and messaged us on the day of our arrival to let us know everything was ready and provided her cell # so she could respond real time if we had any issues or questions. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!

Winter Sanctuary

Jillian and Rocco have a very special place in Bethel Maine. The location is perfect for those that like to alpine ski, cross country, snowmobile and snow shoeing. Their home location offers private trials for the latter three of which during these times were completely isolate, beautiful and a winter wonderland. The house. I arrived on Friday and was overwhelmed with happiness to the house layout, cleanliness, the decorating style of which was extremely comfortable and "homey". I travel internationally and just finished a major job and look for a place where I could unwind, relax and reconnect with family. This was definitely it! Each room was done beautifully with comfortable beds, comforters and plenty of pillows. The living room came with a recline able coach to sit back and watch the daily new updates that flooded our country. On the perimeter were containers full of treats. The kitchen had every item that you needed plus a full set of herbs, cooking oils, condiments etc. Upon arrival, couple of bottles of wine given by the hosts to ease the "unpacking". Then there is the Jacuzzi offered under the stars. Great treat to have at the end of an active day or in the evening before sleeping. The bathrooms were fully stocked with every item that you can think of that you might have forgotten. They offered unique body creams, soaps, etc., to make the stay even more memorable. The hosts were extremely patient as questions and concerns flurried at the beginning of the stay. We lost power and Jillian sent a text every 30 minutes with an update as to when the power would be restored. In summary, I would recommend this house to all those that would like to stay in a classy winter house, with fantastic amenities. Check in and check out was extremely easy. I am looking forward to renting next year. Sally

We are your hosts Rocco and Jillian Boulay. We live in Manchester, NH with our playful Boston Terriers. We own and operate Health Coaching Centers in NH and also developed a unique exercise prescription technology that is found in Health Clubs around the country.

We enjoy the conveniences of city life but always look forward to getting away from all the noise, that’s what brought us to Bethel.

This house is our first home built together and was quite a project with all the miles travelled. We are happy with how it all turned out and excited to share this relaxing retreat with others.

Why they chose this property

Our house sits on over 2.7 acres of land with over 500 feet of frontage along the Androscoggin River. Situated in the new Jordan Woods Development, our property provides the best of everything in the Bethel/Newry area. Just a short ride to the quaint downtown Bethel shops and restaurants, we are under a 15 min drive to the base on Sunday River and Mount Abram ski areas.
Our community is located off North Road close to the Mahoosuc Land Trust with over 20 miles of trails from beginner to advanced, Angevine Park and Swimming Pond and several boat launches for kayaking, canoeing or fishing.
The beauty and stillness of nature is felt from the moment you arrive. Whether you want to relax and rejuvenate or adventure and thrill seek, its all just a few steps away!
