Great little place

Small little place perfect for a little getaway in the mountains. The fenced in yard was a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with the dogs.

Friendly, helpful family guest suite

Sheri puts her heart into her guest house. She is constantly improving it and is immediately responsive and helpful day or night. Our dog had a great time in the fenced yard, and absolutely adored Sheri’s charming daughters, as did we She is around as much or as little as you want her to be

Close proximity to Blue Ridge Parkway & Asheville

Clean, private place "to land" for a long weekend hiking and visiting friends in Asheville. The wi-fi is reliable and the location is terrific for either city or mountain exploration. It is not a place where you will be able to make your own meals, but there is a fridge for leftovers and small items. The owner is very friendly and for pricey Asheville, this is a good deal. I would stay here in the future.

Weekend getaway to explore Asheville

The hostess was very friendly and extremely responsive. She had toys waiting for our pup which was very nice. The location was fantastic for exploring the city of Asheville and also hiking and cruising on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage was a great size for just my wife and I and our pup. The fenced backyard was great. The water heater was small, so anything above a 10 minute shower would turn cooler but if showers are timed right, it was fine. The cottage sits right next to the main house which was a slight surprise from the listing but we never had a problem with privacy or any moments of running into the hostess’ family. Overall it worked great as a base station to explore for the weekend.

Perfect Mtn getaway

This property exactly as described. A nice little cottage right outside of Asheville. Perfect for a few night stay with 1 or 2 people. Private entrance and driveway, a patio with a privacy fence separates it from the main house. So privacy wasn’t an issue for my gf and I. It wasn’t more than 10-15 minutes away from anywhere we tried to go, which was great. I would absolutely stay here again. Host was very nice and check in process couldn’t have been easier. She even gave some good recommendations for around town. If you want to visit Asheville and don’t wanna stay DT this is a great spot.

A perfect getaway

We had an amazing time. Everything was as it should be! Perfect location. Ten minute drive to downtown, but out in the country enough to de-stress and relax. An hour from DuPont for some amazing mountain biking and a little over an hour from Mt. Mitchell for one of the most beautiful and challenging hikes I’ve done. The guest house was clean and accommodating. Perfect for two people on a getaway. Sheri the owner was great. We were never bothered but when I locked myself out accidentally she took care of us right away. She offered help with whatever we needed along the way. One of the best vacations in memory. We will definitely come back!
