Casa Tortuga is a newly built, modern home away from home with fabulous views. A large house with two separate apartments, large outdoor entertaining spaces and a heated/cooled pool. The house is close to one of the best kite-launching beaches, restaurants, shopping, and all the local amenities you will need during your stay. Comfy queen memory foam beds, a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities and a 2 car garage to store all your toys surrounded by a secured wall & gate. A perfect location for both your Baja adventures and relaxing in the hammocks watching the world go by.

The host was really kind and even went as far as to bringing us a pound of coffee. Which was greatly appreciated! The property is incredibly beautiful. My husband went wing foiling. Incredible trip and an incredible house to stay at.

Amazingly Spacious

Everywhere you look in the property there is wide open space. The rooms are large and stay nice and cool, even without the air conditioning on. (the AC works great, but we did not need it except for 1 night. The pool is delightful.

Great Value and Property Manager

This place included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable for 6 days in La Ventana. Felt safe and secure. Was able to walk to some restaurants in town. Convenience store also a short walk away. The property was clean, cool, check out was easy, and had strong wifi. The jugs of filtered water was a great bonus.

Excellent Views and Relaxing Pool

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga in El Sargento. The property manager was friendly and prompt. Relaxing poolside after a long day fishing was perfect. Views from the patio were top notch. El Sargento is a small, sleepy town, so with that you must take the good with the bad. There was a relatively short lived power outage in town that would turn off power (a/c), water, some cell service etc.

One of our best vacations at a VRBO!!!

The property was super! Very clean and had everything we needed! The outdoor space was huge with all of the decks and the pool. We thought we wanted to be on the water but after arriving and seeing how much wind was there, we decided we had the best place with the wall. We rented Atvs and road the dunes, up the mountains, out to the lighthouse and down the beaches to enjoy the kite surfers. LaVentana is small enough so there aren’t the resorts but lots of great restaurants. Hope to be back again!!!

We fell in love with La Ventana 15 years ago, after staying at a friends property and returning almost every year. We have finally completed our own place and would like to share it until we can be there full time. Mi casa es tu casa.
