Thank you so much for the 10/10 review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the cozy cabin, convenient location, and felt well taken care of during your stay. We truly appreciate the kind words and would love to host you again in the future!
Everything was tidy and cute! Amenities all worked very well, just the outside lights near the hot tub didn’t seem to be working and the parking situation wasn’t ideal. Overall it was a great experience!

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found everything tidy and cute and that the amenities worked well. We appreciate the notes about the outdoor lighting and parking and will take those into consideration. We’re happy you still had a great experience and hope to host you again!
Host very responsive and welcoming. Location is awesome for accessing Gatlinburg shops and restaurants. Hot tub is great, but would have been nice if outside patio lights worked. Parking isn’t great with nearby construction and having to park down the road. However, we just unloaded bags at door then parked nearby. Difficult to get ready with no bathroom surfaces or outlets. Cabin has necessary needs, hence the better value. Overall satisfied with stay.

Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed our host’s hospitality and found the location so convenient for exploring the best shops and restaurants in Gatlinburg. It’s great to hear the hot tub was a highlight of your stay!
Regarding your concerns, we’d like to clarify a few details. Our cabin is designed with a minimalist, rustic aesthetic to maximize the cozy living area, which is why bathroom surfaces are kept streamlined. We also appreciate your patience with the parking; while the temporary nearby construction is outside of our control, we are glad our drop-off area made unloading your bags easy before using the designated overflow parking.
We have dispatched our maintenance team to address the patio lighting and ensure all outlets are fully functional for future guests. We take pride in offering a high-value stay in the heart of the Smokies and are pleased that you were overall satisfied with your visit!
The overall stay was good. We enjoyed the cabin and loved how close we were to downtown Gatlinburg. The area to park is a little inconvenient, being on a hill. The designated area to park is too tight for most vehicles. So you had to park at the bottom of the hill to avoid blocking ongoing construction that is happening next door. This was the only downside to the stay. Otherwise we really enjoyed it!

We appreciate your notes about the parking — we’ll make sure future guests are aware and take extra care with the space, especially during construction next door.

First of all arriving at night unprepared for the steep dangerous climb surrounding the property It was quite scary when we took a wrong turn, a little heads up might save someone's life in the future. Most visitors are flat landers. Also I was not about to drive up the driveway after being traumatized, so I parked at the bottom near the garbage cage, which was already shredded up by a bear it looked like. The cabin looked like it was slapped it together handyman style. The plumbing wreaked of septic, couldn't handle being in there long. The floors were extremely filthy I had brand new white socks , had them on for about 5 seconds before they turn dark brown. There were no chairs or seating outside to enjoy the outdoor area. And why the heck are there no curtains I felt very violated with my privacy laying in bed watching people drive above me and using the bathroom fully exposed. My husband hated it so much We left on the second night even though we paid for three. It was a cheap last minute getaway so I guess you get what you pay for. But I definitely wouldn't recommend it to a family or couple. The location was very close to downtown but that was the only perk. Hot tub would have been nice but I was scared to death of a bear coming down from behind me, not to mention all the mosquitos. Sorry but I think you should be more clear on your listing so as to not disappoint.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your stay did not meet expectations. Guest experience and safety are very important to us, and we’ll be reviewing your concerns with our team to make improvements where needed.
So perfect for a quick weekend getaway! Close enough to get to everything easily, but far enough to where us old people could go to bed at a decent hour without the noise from Gatlinburg! Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the location.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, secluded, and perfect for a getaway. This home away from home is cozy and nestled in the middle of the Smokey Mountains. Wonderful weather and spectacular views of the mountains. I would book this trip again without hesitation.

Hot tub did not stay hot. You could see through the lower windows on both sides but had blocking curtains on the upper windows where nobody could look through. The water turn on valve for the shower is above the bathroom sink and there is an electric outlet right underneath it and the sink, very unsafe. The pest control barged into the room without knock, announcing himself. He could have gotten shot very easily. The parking was almost nonexistent

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all comments seriously, but after reviewing our records, there appear to be a few misunderstandings. The hot tub maintains temperature through an automatic cycling system — it occasionally pauses heating during filtration, which can make it seem cooler for a short period.
The upper window curtains are intentionally placed to provide both privacy and natural light, and no areas of the cabin offer outside visibility into private spaces. Regarding the shower valve, it’s installed per local safety standards and has been inspected for compliance.
As for pest control, they’re scheduled and announced maintenance professionals who follow a set route; however, they are instructed to knock and identify themselves before entering. We’ll remind the team of that procedure to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We understand that every guest experience is unique, and we appreciate you bringing these points to our attention.

Beautiful Cabin
The overall cabin was perfect. Hot tub was amazing. The cabin was bigger than we thought, due to the pictures online. Very close to downtown. The only issue is, the owners communication was not all there.

Hi Nick,
Not sure why the 2 stars as you wrote cabin was perfect and bigger than you thought….I was available for any questions you had so again not sure about the issue with communication
This is a perfect spot for a family with kids. Location is perfect, less than a mile to Downtown Gatlinburg but isolated enough to get away from the chaos and crowds of downtown when you have had enough and need to relax. Kids loved the loft beds granting them enough privacy while allowing for family interaction. Plenty of entertainment in the surrounding area, plenty of nature, plenty of restaurants. Kitchen is perfect size to cook for a family of 4. Great rental, we will be back.

Hi Geoff,
Thank you for the 5⭐review. Glad to hear you enjoyed the location. We would love for you to visit again. Thank you for choosing to stay with us.
I was surprised when we arrived to find smaller accommodations then what were pictured on VRBO. Amazing what a wide angle lenses can do.
But we had a good time. If anyone has difficulty walking up a hill this may not be the place for you.

Tiny shed
The cabin was very small with entry in bedroom. It was really like two 15x15 sheds were put together with a small utility isle connecting them. Shower controls were located above the small sink in the bathroom. Log wallpaper was too much in both living spaces
Wow that was peaceful! Either because we were so close to town and still so secluded or because we didn't have three screaming kids, but this property fit the bill. I'm going with the seclusion on this one. On the end of a dead end road with no neighbors to speak of, you are nestled in a valley with all the amenities you are going to need for a destination getaway. The hot tub was on point after a long day of walking the strip and the quiet was perfect to allow for bears to wander near by (don't worry the doors lock). The only issue I had was that my hybrid struggled to make it up the road but it did, albeit at a turtles pace (I should have brought the SUV). I have saved this listing and will be using it again in the future. Man do I want to go back.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for the detailed feedback and review. We look forward to hosting you on your future visit.
Hot tub didn't work bc the breaker kept tripping off. When I contacted the owner she stated there was nothing she could do until Monday. At 9:30 on Saturday morning she offered to let me check out by 10:00 and get a refund. I said that wouldn't work bc there was nowhere else to stay in the area bc of a car show. I asked for a partial refund since the hot tub was the big draw to the cabin. CRICKETS...never heard another word, but I did get a couple auto-generated messages asking me if I was enjoying my stay. I thought I was being trolled. Not a good stay, ruined a romantic getaway weekend.
