Loved the cabin, smaller than expected but for 2 adults and a dog, it’s fine. very clean, had plenty of towels, linens, dishes and cookware Best of all, seeing bears daily in and around the property.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you and your family had a fantastic stay at our pet-friendly cabin. Seeing bears up close must have been an incredible experience. We truly appreciate your kind words and are grateful that we were able to make your stay special. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
The Cabin was fine but I contacted them about the reservation a week out and the winter storm that has now stranded 200,000 people. They would not give us any grace in allowing to cancel or refund. So my pregnant wife and I tried to do the trip as planned, however as I feared the snow was so bad Saturday morning it was mid thigh high so we had to rush to pack up and leave immediately. It was dangerous and we barely made it out, then drove 3 hours back home during the winter storm. Very upsetting they couldn’t have been reasonable and allowed us to cancel or reschedule.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear you found the cabin comfortable, though we are very sorry about the difficulties caused by the winter storm. We understand how stressful this situation must have been and we sincerely apologize for any negative impact this may have posed on your experience. Our records did indicate that you reached out 7 days prior to your arrival to request a cancellation. At that time, you were advised that cancellation would be possible, however the standard cancelation policy would apply as the reservation was within 30 days prior to arrival and was not booked with travel insurance. While we do understand how your plans were impacted by the storm, unfortunately, the only exception that could be made would be in the event of a mandatory evacuation. Nevertheless, we truly appreciate your feedback as it is invaluable, and we are glad despite of the storm you were able to keep safe and warm you and your family. -Your Jackson Mountain Team.
Cabin was wonderful for just us two and our lil dog. Very quiet and private which I like. The air went out that tues evening but had fans so it wasn’t horrible but Wednesday morning it was very stuffy trying to get things packed up. I reported it Tuesday night and they said someone would come check
Great location! House was nice and cozy. Saw bears and turkeys a few times. Communication with owner was great. Outside a little unkept when first arrived but they addressed it next day. Only real complaint was bed was extremely noisy...and by that i simply mean the bedding itself. You could hear it any time someone sat on it or shifted during the night. I'm a light sleeper though. Other than that, place was great.
After our check-in, we realized we had one dish towel. We were given two face cloths. Therefore, we had some bleach in our storage box that we take with us when we travel in the mountains. Thank heavens, we had chlorine bleach. So we washed the towels and washcloth with bleach. There were no potholders in the kitchen. The unit was nice and clean. However, there were really no selections on the television that allowed us to watch channels that we normally watch. Overall, we were happy with the unit because after all they don’t give you a refund of any of your money if you want to leave. So you just stay there and make the best of everything. I think we would not have been so upset or trouble if they had given us at least four dish cloths. I’d love to have had a clean washcloth for my face every day, but remember we only got one each and zero washcloths for the dishes. we did reach out to them and ask if they would allow us a early entrance to the house. The weather was turning really bad. And instead of checking in at four, they’ allow us to check in it two. The fireplace was wonderful so for that to say, thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that you found the unit clean and that you enjoyed the amenities. Upon review, we don't see where you contacted our 24/7 Guest Services Team to report an issue. Had we been made aware of the lack of kitchen items we'd make all effort to have some delivered. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention now and a review on inventory was done and the issue addressed. Thank you again for your thoughtful and honest feedback. Your insights help us strengthen our service and better support future guests. We hope there may be an opportunity to welcome you back for a stay that more enjoyable.

The location of cabin is great. Approximately 10 minutes off parkway. Couple issues upon arrival: 1) carbon monoxide detector kept beeping which caused our dog great anxiety. 2) living room TV. Since issues occurred after hours, i texted the number provided, and was told to check the batteries in the detector. Really? We pulled it out of socket and put it outside. 2 days later the Guest services associates came and replaced the batteries in detector and TV remote. Suggest an instruction sheet on how to use the TV in the living room. The bedroom and loft TV's were easy to figure out. The side chair in living room was comfortable, but a recliner would be better. Perhaps 2 dish towels and a pot holder would be nice. There is no storage space in kitchen. All of our groceries had to be placed on the counter. A glider or patio sofa would be nice for front porch, plus a small side table for beverages. We had to use the bannister for our coffee cups. If there were 4 people in the cabin, there 2 rockers are not sufficient. We wanted to enjoy fresh air in the morning, but there is no screen door. Might consider adding this to the property. Right side of sink was slow draining. Might need to put some drano down to remove clog. A small shelf unit next to bathroom sink would allow guests to put toiletries, etc. someplace other than on edge of jacuzzi tub. Left front burner on stove doesn't heat up. We would, however, rent cabin again.
The cabin was just the right size for my husbnd and I along with our furbaby. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having the 1/2 bath upstairs for me to put on makeup and do hair. Hot tube was great and relaxing.
Very pet friendly, clean, Hot tub was perfect maintained 104 . Bed comfortable and game room was a nice touch . The swan in the pond was so pretty and made for great photos

I rented this cabin as a gift for my husband birthday and he was not dissapointed. The front of the cabin was lined with windows, so there is a great view of the front of the property, very good for bear watching. The porch was a cozy place to enjoy a glass of wine and pouring rain. And a small pond that came with its own duck. The inside was perfect, clean and ready for our stay when we srrived.I have favorited this cabin and gladly rent again.
