This place was not only beautiful and serene but the most stocked VRBO that I have ever stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised at the cabin's charm and can not wait to stay there again.
The cabin was located in a wonderful area and had an amazing view. Our kids really enjoyed exploring the area around the cabin. We definitely are looking forward to our next stay.
We had a brief but very comfortable stay. The screened patio was delightful. Very clean and well appointed. Good communication with the owner. Would come back again.
We loved our friends vacation weekend at this property! The house is nice, well equipped, and in a great location! Communication with the owner was excellent! We will return!

We agree! Thanks for the kind words and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
We loved every bit of the wonderful home and hope to visit again soon! The layout was perfect for me, my wife, and two daughters (10 & 6) and we especially enjoyed the living room and fire place. Everything in the home is well thought out for comfort and relaxation, as well as it is close to town and several great outdoor activities.
Helen made checking in a breeze. House was cozy and well appointed. Large screened porch was great for reading, relaxing and game nights. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.
What a beautiful home! Loved the location even with the driveway. We enjoyed the small town feel and everyone we met was very friendly. Drive down to South Carolina to view Pretty Place Chapel during our stay. A must to see.
Very nice house located in the mountains. Very secluded and private. In close proximity to numerous outdoor activities as well as big cities. If you are looking for a quite place to relax this is it. Check in and out process was smooth. Property manager was easily contacted and communicated quickly.
Arrived after friends who decorated and cooked for the birthday girl. She had no idea where we were going or why!!!
Home was very neat and clean. Loved the screened porch for meals and conversation. Accessed local activities easily.
Comfortable, easy access, and worth the drive and money!
We enjoyed a quiet immediate family reunion with our kids. The cabin was very relaxing and in particular the large screened in porch was wonderful. Our one concern from earlier reviews was the road but while it was a bit concerning at first, getting up was no problem as long as you keep your car moving at a decent clip. By the end of the trip we had all th nuances figured out. Helen was great to work with and handled the couple of small questions we had quickly and in a very friendly manner. Definitely will stay again when we visit Saluda.

Cozy and Comfortable
This was the perfect place for three couples to get together and have fun. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The gas log fireplace made it cozy even though it was 26 degrees one night. The driveway is super steep so beware if there's a chance of ice. But once you get up there the views are beautiful. It's more of a warm weather place, since they have a huge screen porch where the main dining table is located. They do have a gate leg dining table that you can pull out inside but it's a tight squeeze. Overall we loved the place and had a great weekend.
Great house and unique location at the top of a mountain. Super private. Breezy porch was comfortable during hot summer day. Well lighted and easy to use the house. I was impressed with the build quality of the house - very unique. Driveway is STEEP which was fun and also made a my wife scared every time we went up haha. House was super clean, well equipped and homey. So close to everything Saluda, Hendersonville and parts of Pisgah. Great communication on what to do to get in. Host shared details about the area we used to choose an excellent dinner spot. Will hopefully get a chance to stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is just wonderful. I personally loved the wooden indoor shutters. The master bedroom was so pretty! We didn't use the loft with the twin bed, but loved that too! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some simple meals while there. The driveway is REALLY steep in one area. We didn't have any trouble, but can't imagine trying to navigate the driveway during winter weather. The home was cozy. Probably my favorite part was the screened in porch! The weather was perfect for sitting on the porch. So, so nice!! We will definitely consider staying here again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
This cabin is charming, comfortable and well stocked-everything you need for a trip to the mountains. It is conveniently located to activities and adventures in Saluda and Hendersonville. The owners are kind and responsive. We enjoyed our mountain getaway and hope to return to this cabin next year.
The house was as advertised. It was cozy, well equipped, and in a beautiful location. Our grandchildren LOVED collecting acorns and went home with quite a haul.!Helen was always available for questions and quick to respond. Saluda is just a couple of miles from the house and hopping this time of year with events and a lovely small downtown! You won’t be disappointed.
Thanks to the Demos for a great week,
Home is just as described. It is a cozy cabin on top of a steep hill. The home is decorated nicely and the kitchen is fully stocked. All 4 of us thought the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. Owners are communicative, responsive, friendly, and they provide every bit of information you could need.
The screened in porch was a group favorite. In good weather, it is a sweet spot.
The house is really beautiful; it is built well and very well maintained. The grounds and drive are also very well maintained.
The driveway is no joke. It might scare you, but remember, all these reviews are here because we ALL lived : )
It requires a low gear, keeping your foot on the gas; low and slow, and not freaking out. The owners are upfront about the driveway. I have been to a few mountain homes and their driveway is like every other one I have been on; steep and windy (cuz' its a mountain!) but this driveway is done right and with a little effort, you too can drive up the mountain like a pro!
Saluda and Tryon are great little towns for slow-paced shopping and browsing with plenty of great restaurants to try as well.
If you are from Tennessee; skip the bbq - we do it better on this side of the ridge : )
Great girls weekend!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Saluda rental! It was extremely clean and one of the better stocked kitchens I have seen in a rental home. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. The house is centrally located to so many places and we will certainly book again when we are going to the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for our needs. The driveway was intimidating but after the first go, we felt confident ha! Would definitely stay here again
