The location was ideal for visiting family. In a quiet neighborhood. Entrance was private from the rest of the house. It worked out nicely and owners were helpful when needed.
It was a nice place to stay, much better than a hotel the screened in porch is great for your morning coffee. We never had a chance to meet Cathy, but she was in constant communication and made sure we had everything we needed

Thank you. You guys are welcome back anytime. You left the place very well!
This property was perfect for us. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house, yard were very well maintained and gave us a very comfortable, homey feel. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee or simply relaxing after a busy day. The property is also close to so many awesome places to eat and shop. Cathy(owner)was very communicative with us and prompt to answer any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Jonathan and guest . You left our place perfectly and clean. You are the first guest to put out the trash can without a notice .You are always welcome again!!!
Stayed here while visiting friends and this location worked perfectly for me. The location area is quiet which is nice. The host is quiet, which is nice. Cathy is friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The wi-fi was strong which was great since I worked remotely from this location for a day. Also, Netflix and Hulu were available which was a nice bonus. It's a cozy place and I would definitely stay again when visiting Broomfield.

Thank you very much. You left the place beautiful!
Quiet neighborhood but near shops, and walking trail.
The pictures are pretty much right on. Tv upstairs has surround sound with plenty of stations. Basement has fire stick. Fridge, freezer, kitchenette were nice to have. Bathroom was modern and had a very nice shower.

Thank you For Taking care of
The place. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope To See you another Day.
The place seemed bigger than expected except for the cooking area, but that was accurately described in the listing. It was perfect for my wife and I. Very quiet. There was an electric issue that could have been a major problem but Cathy got a guy over to fix it in an hour so it was only a minor inconvenience. Would stay there again when visiting our daughter in the area.
This was our first time using VRBO and we had a wonderful experience! Cathy was communicative, helpful, and we felt was super accommodating.
We got to experience all 4 seasons of CO in our stay and had everything we needed to adjust to snow and a sunny day! Blankets, fans, TV’s, etc. There is also direct access to the open space/walking paths and the sunroom was awesome for a morning coffee. We spent most of our time roaming around but this was a wonderful home away from home. We had everything we needed 😊

Thank you so much. You guys were great-we enjoyed sharing. Hopefully we can host you again. Also, thank you for taking care of the place so perfectly. You two were great!!!
The property is close to everything one needs and is also quiet and seemingly far away. The neighborhood is very nice, and quiet. The place backs up to open space with a lovely trail. It is full of wildlife too. I was able to see a fair number of bird species from the back porch. Inside the apartment was furnished and stocked with everything one might need, even a lovely bottle of wine in the welcome basket. There was also a washer and dryer, ironing board, microwave, coffee and tea, a small convection oven (I think), kitchen utensils and an essential oil diffuser. I know I am probably forgetting some things but I can easily say that I lacked nothing. Checking in and out was simple. Accurate, simple instructions were provided in advance. Thank you to the hosts for providing everything I needed for a great visit.
The place was perfect for just the 2 of us ! It had everything we needed ! The fridge was small, no stove & oven, but we weren't there to cook. The microwave there was all we needed. A washer & dryer was great to have though and they were VERY nice! The place is reasonably priced and, for sure , better than a hotel that would have probably cost more. We liked the screened in patio for morning coffee (k cups, cream, sugar , laundry detergent, shampoo etc was provided !) The gardens/landscaping are beautiful! The area/city of Broomfield was nice and we felt safe!
The gate on the fence lead us and our bicycles to a VERY nice path ! We were literally a 2 minute bike ride to Walmart ! AND BEHIND Walmart the path continued with benches and YES! prairie dogs poking their little heads out of holes! Further down was a nice partial mountain view!
Cathy was great with communicating with us over a couple minor questions like, silly me, couldn't get the gate open! And it was great to meet her and chat for a while! You cant go wrong staying here! Very hospitable & accommodating hosts!!

Our homeowners welcomed us with a number of welcoming amenities from chocolate on the bed to wine on the counter and assorted snacks. First time we ever had such a warm welcome.
This place was perfect for me and my daughter for the week! Clean, nice and a great screened in porch! Kathy was the sweetest and most accommodating! It was close to everything! Highly recommend!!! We will be back!

About the host
Hosted by Kevin/Cathy Balogh
We are a married couple who has lived in Colorado since the late 70s, and in Broomfield since 1982. We love Colorado and we are grateful to share our home with you.
Why they chose this property
Broomfield was originally built as a halfway point on the train between Denver and Boulder, so it offers a prime location to pretty much everything on the north side of town. If you want the benefits of quiet living with quick access to the city, Broomfield is a great option. The mountains with hiking and skiing are a 45 minute to hour drive away.
What makes this property unique
The backyard access to the open space can't be beat! We love sitting outside and watching the sun filter through the trees or the snow quietly fall on the ground. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of some of the wildlife that occasionally visits the area.
