Our home is nestled on a hillside behind Salida's famous S Mountain, just over a mile from downtown. Hundreds of miles of mountain biking and hiking trails sprawl across these gorgeous desert hills.
We have outfitted our home to reflect our modern tastes and to accommodate all the creature comforts we enjoy on vacation. Large windows and two patios make sure you've got plenty of access to Colorado sunshine and spectacular mountain views.

You get sole access to the entire place. We keep a close eye on the place to make sure it stays in excellent shape, and if you need anything during your stay, we're just a call or message away!
There is one private queen bedroom in the home, and two separate living areas that open off the kitchen and dining rooms. One has a very stylish pull-out couch, with a queen air mattress that can go on top of the pulled-out couch if desired. The other (main) living area has a sectional couch, TV, and breath-taking views from its multiple, large windows.
Just up the road from the house you can access hundreds of miles of mountain biking and hiking trails that sprawl across these gorgeous hills. Or ride into town (all downhill!) and if you're not up for huffing it back "home," call the local cabby for a cheap lift--they've got bike racks!
Please note that we are not able to provide internet to this house because the internet on this side of the hill is spotty on a satellite connection. This is a rural area, so there are no fiber optic or LAN lines running up the county road. If your phone has a Hotspot capability, you will be able to use the internet or "work from home" this way without any problem. We have verified that AT&T and TMobile work sufficiently to create a hot spot, and we have had guests report that they were able to do the same with Verizon.
