We really enjoyed our store. Kitchen has coffee and spices and has the cooking basics. Pros - the space and view are beautiful! Very clean - except for my 3 y/o dragging out some trash from under the furniture. Good access to town. Cons - mattress in master on the firm side which some may like others may not. Soundproofing between bedrooms upstairs is not ideal which was only an issue for us because of having the baby waking up toddler. But those are the only even remote downsides I can think of. We would absolutely stay again!
EVERYTHING was beautiful. The home was even prettier than the pictures listed. It was clean, the host were great with communication and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here a million more times.
Great location and the property was very nice. If I had to make one suggestion have coffee stocked for the guest.

Karen,
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are pleased that you were happy with our home and the service from our caretakers/concierge. Jessica and Courtney love Alaska and helping our guests feel comfortable. I think they really enjoy helping orchestrate the activities and seeing the genuine excitement of our guests.
Seems like a new home and quite a dramatic structure. Great location only thing that would have helped is if they had more tissue in bathrooms and paper towels and kitchen
It was a last minute change of plans and everyone enjoyed themselves! It was a wonderful, cozy place on the river for a weekend getaway. Thank you for accommodating our group!
The house is gorgeous and has everything we needed for our stay. We had 8 people and were very comfortable. Lots of fishing near by and the hike to Russian River falls was amazing. Watching the salmon jumping up the falls was a highlight of our trip. It’s also an easy drive to Seward.

The best accommodation in all of Alaska!
We thoroughly enjoyed this home as our base for fishing, hiking and sightseeing on the Kenai Peninsula. The location is perfect, both from a river view and easy access to fabulous hiking. For anyone looking for a similar experience, this home in Cooper Landing rivals anything in Yellowstone or Glacier for an upscale accommodation and location. The manager Jessica and her husband Courtney were readily available and provided the support we needed before and during our stay. They may have even arranged for the seven days of PERFECT weather.
All eight of us commented daily about how nice the house and the river view was. And how we want to come back — because seven days just isn’t enough!
Thank you Marcia, Jessica and Courtney

Outstanding Property and Location in Heart of Kenai Penninsula
One of two magnificent large A frame houses situated on a 3-4 acre peninsula right on the Kenai River, located in the fishing mecca of Cooper Landing and central to other activities on the Kenai Penninsula. Beautiful home sleeps 8 in three bedrooms with two and one half baths. Laundry room with washer dryer. Magnificent kitchen with granite and state of the art appliances. Large dining /living area adjacent to the kitchen with magnificent stone fireplace. Built in TV, Stereo and WIFI. Terrace off living room has BBQ and views of river and mountains. Great onsite property management in a nearby building, and wonderful owner who was in residence in other A frame during out stay. Hard to imagine a nicer rental within miles of this place.

Riverside Luxury
We recently spent an amazing week in this spectacular home on the Kenai River. The property is STUNNING, both inside and out! The river is a short walk from the house, and there are several spots perfect for fishing right from the property. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the home sits back off the highway, giving a sense of remoteness and privacy. The central location in Cooper Landing allows for easy day trips to Seward, Soldotna, and Homer. Inside, the home is breathtaking. From the gourmet kitchen, to the custom stair rails, to the soaring beams, to the steam shower, to the luxury linens - everything is first class! The caretakers, who live onsite, are friendly and helpful. Our fishing guide even picked us up at the door. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for five star accommodations on the Kenai. We definitely hope to stay there again!

My stay at this charming Alaskan cabin was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, the cabin perfectly blended rustic charm with modern comforts. It felt like stepping into a postcard, surrounded by the untouched beauty of Alaska.
Highlights:
- Adorable Cabin: The cabin itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had so much character. From the inviting wood interiors to the warm fireplace, every detail made it feel like the perfect little retreat.
- Wildlife Encounters: One of the absolute highlights was the wildlife! I spotted a moose right down the road from the cabin and even saw many bald eagles soaring overhead fishing. The connection to nature here is unparalleled.
- Peaceful and Remote: It was so peaceful and quiet, the perfect escape from busy city life. I loved sitting on the porch, soaking in the scenery and fresh Alaskan air.
- Comforts and Conveniences: The cabin was well-equipped with everything I needed, from a fully functional kitchen to plush bedding. The big windows let in lots of light and offered panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.
The host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, even sharing local tips for nearby trails and spots to catch more wildlife. It was clear they put a lot of love and care into making this cabin a special place for visitors.
If you're looking for a cozy, nature-filled getaway in Alaska, this is the spot! I’m already dreaming of my next visit. Highly recommended

."Dreamy house in dreamy setting" "Architectural Gem" "7 star Aman private residance."
Awesomeness found. Architectural opulence in Cooper Landing, who knew this kind of property existed in Alaska? It was more like a 7 star private bungalow at the Aman hotel chain or the Four Seasons.
We were met by the caretaker / concierge on site. They helped us park up and get situated in the home, explaining the full AV system, laundry, wifi, and setting up some ideal things to do in the area. (Also they live at the entry to the property in a separate house so it felt very secure and safe.)
It was hard to focus as the house featured some unbelievable scenarios, like flawless walnut floors, hand crafted metal work, steam shower, massive milled timber beams, and stunning views. After the 6 minute walk thru tutorial we started to unpack and noticed extremely high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, top quality / gourmet cook wear, three types of pillows, guide books, historical photos, cut natural stone on the deck and fireplace, really a custom lair with top of the line finishes... a home with no expenses spared... just comfort everywhere. The location is central in Cooper landing and 15 steps to your private river fishing bank with little spaces to cast from. This one is not a "cabin" its not a "house" its more of a art piece that you can relax in.

Jim and Suzanne, thank you so much for staying with us. We appreciate your wonderful review. Please plan another vacation in Alaska. We would love to have your family stay again.
We rented this one and the identical one next door for a family gathering. It was fabulous for everyone from 1 to 83. Very comfortable, clean and well furnished.
Very comfortable place to stay with our teen & young adult kids. Nice kitchen to cook meals & plenty of space in the great room to visit, read or plan our next outing. Luxurious shower & bathtub! Would stay here again if we are ever in the Kenai area in the future.
Got to do all the quintessential Alaskan things from this beautiful home base in Cooper Landing! Being on the Kenai Peninsula for a week allowed us to fish, kayak, hike, cruise to see whales from Seward and fly to see bears from Homer. We bought bear spray at $50 only to find two other unused containers already here at the house. Because you can't bring it on the plane we also left it in the house, so might be good for owner to list bear spray as a "amenity"!
Beautiful house, meticulously clean, and in an incredible setting along the Kenai River. Our stay far exceeded our expectations.
