Close to everything and while next to 2 cross roads and a hospital, never felt noisy. The backyard is super inviting and cant beat sitting under the shade tree.
Very clean, very comfortable. Dog and family loved the backyard. Also, liked walking dog through neighborhood. Close to downtown. Bring bikes next time. A bit noisy, but nit enough to wake me in the middle of the night.Bathroom is very small.
We stayed at this house as a family for a wedding. The location was great. The home had three bedrooms and was laid out in a way where everybody was very comfortable. Would recommend.
Stayed for an extended weekend with my husband and two dogs. Backyard is large and enclosed, perfect for allowing your dogs to roam at will.
Great location to local hikes, good eats, and is a walkable neighborhood.
The property was great!! The contact with the property managers was perfect! Could not have asked for a better New Year location!!! Just want to put a big Thank You out there!!!
The house was perfect for us and our dogs - huge backyard, felt safe, 3 bedrooms (though one is where back door is).
Living space was good, appliances etc all worked perfectly
This adorable house met our needs just perfectly! The location was great…a few blocks from downtown Flag and a few blocks to the FUTS. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot! The only minor thing is that it could use better pots and pans and knives. Our dog really enjoyed the freedom of a fenced backyard.
Everything about this house was awesome. Perfect location. Great layout. AC! Beds are new. Kitchen was loaded and great for making meals. Backyard was relaxing.
This is a good small space for travelers with dogs, as there is a large fenced back yard. Its location makes it easy to walk downtown and a short drive to all the Flagstaff outdoor activities. We were out most of the time so didn’t use the kitchen really. Comfortable mattresses. Warm heater- needed to turn it off at night. Minimal decor and furnishings.
We were traveling with 2 Golden Retrievers, the backyard and home were perfect. The weather had left the outside space wet and muddy. Rich supplied us with more throw rugs to keep the mud indoors to a minimum. Overall the house was very dog friendly unlike other VRBOs who say dog friendly and have absurd rules, this was great!

Hi Gene! I am sorry that you had difficulty operating the TV, thermostat, and faucets. They are all relatively new, common, and, we thought, self-explanatory. The welcome guide is entirely online. I am easy to reach and will glady answer any questions about the home, Flagstaff, or anything else Arizona related. I hope you'll come back next summer. Rich
Nice house with a great backyard and good location. I have stayed in many VRBOs. Here is a rule that they should follow. If your house has a kitchen and sleeping for 6 there should be sufficient equipment to serve a meal for 6. The kitchen was small but that is the house so fine. Stove and fridge are very nice. Mishmash of silverware no knives or larger bowls and no sponges. Had to purchase a knife set and bowls and utensils to prepare dinner to celebrate daughter’s graduation. Not a good look for VRBO. Overall though we had a nice stay.

pros and cons
Good location to downtown, BUT, it is next to a busy intersection with trucks, motorcycles and vehicles all night long and a large hospital nearby with emergency vehicles and helicopters going to hospital. Kitchen is well put together and beds are comfortable, however, the home had mold and flooring coming up in bathroom. Shower was dangerous and slick, no rubber mat or grab bars. Inside was quite filthy with different colored dog hair on bedspread and blankets. Large back yard for dogs, but several different levels of broken concrete to fall or sprain an ankle. Patio furniture is 6 hard metal chairs and a small OPEN barbecue like you find in a park on a pole. No way to control heat. Website pictures show differently. Wood flooring was beat up probably from the dog scratches. Front door doesn't open unless you kick it hard. You can see where previous renters have done the same thing on website pictures. Pictures also show two dining tables which is deceiving. There is only one table. Tile around fireplace is broken, stained and missing pieces. Again, website pictures show nice tile. Pet friendly is great, but use the hefty cleaning fee to actually clean. A LOT of deferred maintenance.

About the host
Hosted by Richard
My wife and I live in Phoenix and frequently travel with our two little dogs. We bought this home in Flagstaff because we love the midcentury charm and location in the center of things – we are close to downtown, NAU, and all the hiking trails. We enjoyed fully remodeling the home, putting on a brand new roof and installing central air conditioning and heat, all new cabinets, countertops, and appliances. We hope that you enjoy the home as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
The Beaver Street Bungalow is extremely well located in the NoHo neighborhood – an enchanting community that is walking distance to downtown, groceries, restaurants, parks, and hiking trails.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique due to its combination of old and new. You’ll find original hardwood flooring, tin ceilings and original decorative fireplace. You’ll also find updated kitchen and bathrooms with modern appliances, air conditioning, and Samsung Smart TVs in the living room and every bedroom.
