Comfortable family home

Bright, modern family home in a quiet neighbourhood. Off street parking available and a private back garden with patio area. The property is suitable for families with children or couples. We are a short walk from Summerlee Heritage Museum, the Time Capsule Leisure Centre with Ice Rink and Water Park and Coatbridge Town Centre. We are also only a 10 minute walk from Sunnyside Train Station with direct train links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Balloch Loch Lomond.

A nice and well equipped house. We had an excellent stay. The train station with direct connections to both Edinburgh and Glasgow is within walking distance, so we could leave the car at the house.

Perfect family vacation home

We loved the location. Quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to the shops. The house was very comfortable and really felt like a home away from home. It came with everything we needed and the kids loved the games. Leslie was a wonderful host and very prompt in all of her communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Wir haben umfassende Informatonen für den Aufenthalt bekommen. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Ruhige Wohngegend. Zentrale Lage zu Edinburgh, Glasgow und Stirling. Parken konnten wir direkt in der Auffahrt. Wir würden wiederkimmen.

Wärmste Empfehlung!

Wir waren positiv überrascht von der angenehmen Wohngegend und dem schönen Haus. Die Kommunikation mit Leslie hat immer sehr schnell und freundlich funktioniert. Check-in und Check-out funktioniert dank Keysafe hervorragend. Das Haus ist in einem gepflegten Wohngebiet, direkt benachbart zu dem großartigen Freilichtmuseum (kostenlos und unbedingt sehenswert!!!) und einem Park. Coatbridge selbst ist eine ehemalige Bergarbeiter- und Industriestadt. Da ich selber aus einer solchen Region in Deutschland stamme (Raum Riesa/Hoyerswerda), kann ich mich gut in die Menschen und ihre Befindlichkeiten hier einfühlen. Wir waren mit Interrail unterwegs, ohne Auto, und haben täglich den Bahnhof Coatbridge Sunnyside genutzt, um Edinburgh, Glasgow und die Highlands zu erreichen, was IMMER reibungslos und pünktlich funktioniert hat. Jederzeit wieder Interrail in Schottland! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im kleinen Stadtzentrum, ebenso diverse Imbisse, die wir gelegentlich genutzt haben. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Nach Glasgow sind es 20 Minuten mit dem Zug und nach Edinburgh eine knappe Stunde. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und waren sehr zufrieden mit Preis/Leistung und der Anbindung. Sogar das Wetter war gut! ;-) Dass es Prime-Zugang gab, war ein Extra, das uns nach wunderbaren Städtetrips und Wanderungen abends tolle britische Fernseherlebnisse wie Good Omens, Sherlock und Dr. Who bescherte - perfekter Tagesausklang in Familie. Wärmste Empfehlung!!!

cozy location and amazing owner

owner is second to none. they were amazing at communication and helpful with giving us ideas as to how to help us find different attractions around. the home itself oddly enough was almost the same configuration as we stayed at before in glasgow so we were already feeling at home. home was spacious, and inviting. close by foot to numerous shops and dining (recommend burristro!) and also the train if we decided to travel around. quiet neighborhood and felt very inviting. my wife and i are looking into eventually moving out that way and this is one more step into showing us how friendly and inviting a country can be. will be looking at renting from again!
