Great stay
The cleanliness was top notch. We were impressed with the ambience of the cabin. The layout, furniture, decor, and amazing views were striking. We felt cozy and safe, and appreciated all the amenities provided. It was a great home away from home, with beautiful views and calming atmosphere.

We loved the view from the patio of this house. Well stocked with all of the basics. Vacasa has always been a great rental company to work with also.

Good choice!
This home has the most amazing view of the mountains! It was clean, had adequate room for my family, and was close to the highway.
Great cabin (house) a few blocks off the main drag, so its close to restaurants, groceries, everything you might need. Cabin is well stocked and has everything you need.
The only negative was the living room recliner and sofa which were in dire need of updating.
Greenbelt at the back allows for really nice views of the mountains and and wildlife. Lots of deer and a fox almost every evening. Windows wrap the back of the cabin, lots of light. Enjoyed our stay! Thanks for sharing your place!

It is a nice, well kept house. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. We may have misread the add, but we had 4 adults and 5 teenagers. Had to have one sleep on the couch and one in the recliner. This will only sleep 7 in beds. Not a sleeper sofa.

Thank you for your review, Bryant! We sincerely apologize for the incorrect information about the sofa; we have corrected this on our listing and appreciate having it brought to our attention. We hope to see you again!
Property was very dirty. I’m sure the owners use a maid service I would definitely find another provider. There was one roll of toilet paper, just all together a horrible experience. Definitely would look elsewhere.

2 day stay
Me and my husband stayed for 2 days~We arrived and noticed the garage was very small and our jeep would not fit, so we just parked in the driveway.
We entered the cabin and it seemed clean and ok but as we relaxed and started to settle in we noticed that the recliner was broken, sofa caved in when we sat down and the furniture was old and needed to be replaced, it was all uncomfortable. We decided to sleep upstairs and when I went to get ready for sleep I noticed long hair on the comforter which I knew at that point the blanket had not been washed but the pillow cases and sheets were clean. Even though no one slept in the other room next to us the pillows were not arranged nicely especially if you were expecting guests to stay. Also the floors and carpet could of been swept and vacuumed better. Seemed like housekeeping rushed in and out. On the other hand the bathrooms and showers were very clean, and the view was beautiful, those big windows! We did not cook in the cabin but was stocked with all needed things to cook. FYI: We are coffee drinkers and had no coffee, we wanted to relax in our PJs in the morning and watch the hot air balloon we woke up to, we had to leave for coffee, if you love coffee bring your own. Check in and out was easy and found the place right away. Its was an ok stay but expected more cleanliness especially at this time.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We greatly apologize for any cleanliness concerns you were faced with upon arrival. Please know that local staff is available to assist with any cleanliness issues you encounter while in the home. Furthermore, while the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals, food and other pantry items like coffee and tea are not typically stocked in the home. We hope to get the chance to host you again!
My husband and I were here for 3 weeks and appreciated a number of things about the property. The living room has big beautiful windows (which sadly, birds fly straight into every hour or two!) and the house is in a very quiet neighborhood. We also appreciated good internet connectivity, which we needed for work meetings. The water pressure is excellent in the shower. The dining table is big and could comfortably accommodate a sizable group. However, the house needs furniture that isn’t so well-used. It’s no longer comfortable to sit in for more than an hour because you can feel metal bars and springs on your butt/back. But if you’re out hiking or skiing all day and spend only a little time in the house, it won’t matter. If you like a hard mattress, the upstairs bedroom is for you. The downstairs mattress has big dips in it. The kitchen needs a refresh, too— there’s only one skillet and it’s warped. Ditto for the tea kettle, which is probably why previous guests were trying to microwave liquid in mugs that are not microwaveable. But if you order out pizza and get breakfast beverages to go, these things won’t matter. There are other items that need to be replaced, like some towels, sheets, and all pillows. The property management group does an awesome job— responsive, kind and conscientious. I’d recommend that someone stay here for 2 days and get a clear sense of what it will take to make this a property that is comfortable for longer-term stays.

Excellent view!! Great pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware and pans. Had deer visit every day of our stay. A fox meandered by one evening. Overall, a very positive experience.
The cabin is conveniently located and the neighborhood is quiet. The view from the back porch is tranquil. I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee in serenity and in communion with the deer.

The view is great, the house is comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet (please keep it that way). It comfortably accommodates 6 or 7. The city zoning allows 8. It is an older log house so don't expect something shiny new. We keep coming back.
This home was a great place for our family of 5, including 3 kids. There were plenty of beds for the kids to have their own space upstairs. The separate bathrooms were nice too.
We didn't cook during our stay, but the kitchen had everything you could possibly want for a longer stay. The family room connected to the dining area was a nice space to spread out and relax.
If you care about internet, it was reliable and the AC was great for this family from Texas! We were able to see deer walking through the backyard one evening and again the next morning. You might even see hot air balloons out your window.
My family and I had a great experience staying at this cabin. I would recommended and would stay here again if I ever visit Pagosa Springs in the future.

We loved everything about this cabin - quiet, comfortable, peaceful, cozy, lovely view, well-stocked kitchen, and convenient to grocery store and restaurants. The host has included many thoughtful touches to make the cabin user-friendly and we felt very much at home. We also enjoyed seeing some wildlife from the cabin. We highly recommend Kickback Cabin!!

Cozy Cabin
We loved our stay in this AFrame Cabin. It was comfortable and clean. The king sized beds were a plus as well as having laundry facilities available to us during our stay. We could sit on the deck and watch the wildlife strolling through the yard. Having a kitchen ready with a coffee maker and dishes made our stay more welcoming. Thanks so much.
My family of 4 and my parents stayed here and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us to spread out and have personal space. The views were incredible and we had a fox visit daily, as well as 4 big bucks! The large windows in the living room were perfect for when we were hanging out in the cabin. We loved the area and had a great experience!

Beautiful views and spacious. Would visit there again
Kickback Cabin was clean, comfortable, and very close to the grocery store. It had all the amenities we needed to stay there for a week including a propane grill. The only thing we bought was a larger frying pan because we did not find one in the kitchen (we cleaned it and left it for the next guests). All the instructions were clear, everything was labeled and we were truly self-sufficient with the information that was provided in the emails and the cabin. The internet worked great and Dish was provided, which worked as expected. The best amenity included with Kick Back Cabin, though, were the views of the mountains! Pagosa Peak was unobstructed and the whole range could be seen from the big bay windows on the north side of the cabin and the back deck! Finally, we saw many deer traveling through the front and back yard, which was very cool.
If you are looking for a great place to relax in Pagosa Springs, Kick Back Cabin is it!
The cabin was beautiful and everything we expected. The view was absolutely amazing from the porch.
Great experience over all. The process was easy and it was everything we needed. There is extra things in the garage you can use like a grill, chairs and fishing equipment!
