Zen Vibes-private pool, spa, central location.

Spacious custom built, home tucked away in a QUIET cul de sac. This home offers a private tropical outdoor living space with a heated salt water pool and spa.

We’re centrally located, just minutes from the beaches and city. Take a nature hike from the front door to our neighborhood Tecolote canyon. After a day at the beach enjoy an outdoor shower before a walk to dinner at a trendy local restaurant, or have beer and bite at one of our neighborhood breweries.
You may prefer to stay home to enjoy the peaceful Zen vibe. You can hop in the pool and stream a movie on the outdoor tv as you float in the warm water.

For those of you wanting to explore our fabulous city, our home is just short drive to the beaches, downtown, our famous San Diego Zoo, La Jolla, Coronado, Sea World, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and several trendy villages with boutique shopping and great food and drink. For USD college parents, the university is a short drive, or a beautiful walk through the canyon for the more adventurous.

Our 2500 square foot home is equipped with top of the line appliances, contemporary minimalistic decor, and comfortable furniture. Each bedroom offers en-suite bathrooms. Stay toasty with 4 fireplaces including in the backyard . Also enjoy your privacy outdoors at 3 different patio areas.

Wonderful Family Memories

Sal and Linda’s house is one of the most welcoming, beautiful properties we have ever stayed at. They are above and beyond wonderful hosts and genuinely make you feel welcomed in their home. We had so much fun in the pool, bbq-ing and hanging out with our family. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had an amazing time in Linda’s & Sal’s sanctuary. The house provides for everything. It’s perfectly suited for a couple with guests. The house is immaculate, the gardens are lovely, the POOL IS AMAZING.It’s centrally located, quiet neighborhood & fireworks every night!!We had such a blast, we’re planning on returning. Amazing relaxing stay!

This is by far the best rental home we have stayed in. The greenery is amazing and definitely gives a resort feel. Pay to heat the pool was 100% worth it. Linda is an amazing host. We will be back!

Best Place I have ever stayed with my family

I stayed here for two weeks with my wife and kids. The house is perfect, the hosts are incredibly friendly and responsible. I was impressed with their attention to every detail. I have stayed in many VRBOs and similar properties in the past, but nothing close to how great this place is.

San Diego Oasis

I can’t say enough good things about this home! This property is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the beach scene of San Diego. The kitchen is well stocked and lots of great seating areas for our family to have meals together. The pool provided a great way to start and end busy days or just read quietly on the deck. This home is immaculate, beautiful, and so comfortable. The location is close to USD, freeways, and just a few minutes drive to beaches. Linda was a great communicator and wonderful hostess. Our family would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great property! Beautiful inside and out! Great location! Quiet, safe neighborhood. Really enjoyed the pool area. Had all the amenities (for cooking, serving, and seating) for us to host a barbecue dinner for a few family and friends one day. Comfy beds. Would highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful property that is so well managed by Linda. The waterfalls make the pool so relaxing and the lights at night make it fun for some night time swimming. Linda is super responsive and it was truly a pleasure to be able to stay at her property again.

Excellent property in a great location to most everything in and around San Diego. Definitely get a Zen vibe in the outdoor space and pool/spa. Yearly Family Vacation to San Diego

We have normally stayed at a resort each year for our family vacation but I loved this property when I saw it online so we decided to try VRBO this year instead. Best decision we have ever made, this house was sooo warm, inviting, clean, beautifully decorated and definitely had the Zen vibe. Sal and Linda are so organized, had great communication and made us feel like family. We genuinely felt welcome in this house and hope to keep coming back.

Perfect, Relaxing Getaway

All the other reviews nail it. This is a perfect home to get away from it all and relax with your partner, family or friends.We spent two of our days peacefully hanging out at the house enjoying the serene backyard, going back and forth between the pleasantly warm pool and hot tub.But if you’re interested in exploring San Diego you’re in an ideal spot - Balboa Park and all it has to offer are just a quick drive away; we also walked to a wonderful cafe for breakfast one morning near some breweries and other restaurants.Linda is the perfect host. Accommodating and communicative. Next time we go back to San Diego this will be our preferred place to stay.

Absolutely amazing!

This property was beautiful and meticulously maintained. We loved everything about it — the landscaping, pool and beautifully appointed back yard was a true oasis of serenity. We felt like we were at a spa all weekend, and loved cooking in the wonderful kitchen which had EVERYTHING we needed!! We started planning our return before we even left! Absolutely gorgeous.

My entire family is from San Diego but wanted to stay in one house the weekend of my uncle's 80+ birthday celebration. We picked the perfect home. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Stunning gem in a quiet neighborhood

The house was obviously built with thought and care. It has everything you could need and more. The backyard feels like a vacation oasis with the pool/hot tub and many seating areas. The landscaping is beautiful and makes you feel like you are at a luxury resort. The host was very responsive to questions and provided suggestions for the area. It was very close to old town and seaworld and not too far from the zoo and other attractions. I highly recommend this vrbo.

Perfect vacation

I don’t know if I can say enough good things about this property. First the pictures do not do it justice. The backyard was amazing. So peaceful. Our kids loves the pool. They were so excited to see some early morning duck visitors and a tiny hummingbird nest with babies. The plants were lovely and it was really cool to have fresh lemons. Linda was a great host and so kind. The house is so well stocked with everything. It’s truly the little things like couch blankets, heated toilet seats, and a welcome gift that made our stay. She even refunded us for some pool days when the weather wasn’t so great. The location was so great. An easy drive to every where in the city. This place is truly a gem. You will not be disappointed.

Stop searching - this is your place!

Where to start? Consistent with some of the other reviews this home is even better in person. So clean, so comfortable - you’ll find yourself wanting for nothing! The pool and hot tub is better than any resort. Why? It’s totally private, beautifully landscaped, and the fountains are so special and magical at night. Beds were super comfy too. We made use of the grill and the very well-stocked kitchen throughout our stay. Linda is an attentive and thoughtful host who provided fantastic local site/restaurant recommendations and even included some amazing welcome surprises too. We LOVED this home and you will too. If we ever return to San Diego I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you so much for extending your beautiful home to our family.

We had a great time in Lindas property, I did not felt like a rental. there where so many datails and everything was so comfortable, that we felt as family guests. Stunning home, well maintained, beautiful interior design, comfortable, cozy. Linda is professional and friendly and made sure all our needs were addressed. Felt like home away from home! We are Sal and Linda. We transplanted ourselves from Chicago to California in 1984 to escape the cold. Sal is a Contractor and Linda is a hairstylist. We're nearing retirement and want to hop into our motorhome to see the country. We thought, why not share the beauty of our dream home with others while we travel?

The location is ideal. We are minutes away from several beaches, the city, The San Diego Zoo, and many other attractions. When you're not out exploring you'll be comfortable at home. In the summer months the pool and spa, which are surrounded by lush landscape, are warm and inviting. We, our friends, and our family love the comfort and peace of our home and we're certain you will too.
