Great place! Thank you for accommodating us quickly when we needed to move rentals! Everything was very clean! Lots of room for all 14 of us. Loved the pool and volleyball court. Could use a grill and beach chairs.

Ocean Star was everything my family was looking forward to. We were blessed with a peaceful and family oriented neighborhood with close beach access. The large family room was a plus. The outdoor tiki bar, pool area, and volleyball court was a great location for the adults and children to enjoy. Each bedrooms on suite bathroom made life so easy for the family. The location of the house relative to dining, attractions, and shopping was what we were looking for. We didn’t want to be too close to the hustle and bustle but far enough to enjoy the peace and tranquility the sound of the ocean waves brought us at night. Overall, our experience at Ocean Star made our annual family trip memorable and made Murrells Inlet, SC a potential summer repeat!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house for large groups. Love the location. The house needs some TLC as far as maintenance upstairs windows need replacing because all latches are rusted out. First floor mini fridge was not working, kitchen ice maker not working and hole in wall in bunk room not fixed.

Perfect outdoor setup!

Great house. We loved the outdoor setup especially. The tiki bar, TV, lounge area, pool and beach volleyball court was enough to keep us entertained and happy all weekend. Inside was well furnished and clean. Thanks.

So much beautiful space

As grandparents finding a space and place for everyone in families interests is always a challenge. This house has it all! Kitchen-2 refrigerators/dishwashers and a bar and a table that seats everyone for dinner The living room has plenty of comfortable space for movie night or enjoy private movie nights in any of the rooms including the entertainment area under the house. The house is decorated throughout in the best ocean decor. My 3 yr old grandson loved the surf boarding dogs. The pool was nice to use and relax in after coming back from the beach, and the outdoor shower (hot and cold) made getting sand off easy. The beach access is across the front street, easily accessible and very quiet. A great place for walking and watching the sun rise. The balconies were a great place to watch sunrises and sunsets. We rented a golf cart to drive into the small town where there were gift, ice cream, coffee, shops and a pier for beverages and live music. The Gulfstream cafe was within a short walk (or drive) and had great food and views. This house would be hard to beat as far as amenities and location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Star is located in an excellent location. We were one to two houses down from public access to the beach. The bedrooms were huge, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The mattress covers need to be replaced in the children's bedroom. We loved that they were TVs in every bedroom and a Nintendo switch console available. The kitchen was a great size and had plenty of dishes and utensils available. We cooked everyday. We loved the double convection ovens and two refrigerators. The pool was my son's favorite part of the house. My family loved to sit on the pool deck and watch tv while my dog sun bathed. The elevator was a major plus for my family. A couple of members of my family and senior dog really benefited from the elevator. The home was cleaned well before we arrived, and the backyard was nice. The home had several maintenance issues including water stains on the ceiling, a cracked window in the dining room, and a couple of holes in the walls. Also, the kitchen sink was leaking, a tv was broken and the miniature fridge didn't work. The management company was notified immediately about a few of the issues but weren't able to physically respond for two days. The Maintenace worker that responded was excellent and fixed what he could. The owner even replaced the tv before we left. I loved going to Angela's Market nearby and grabbing a breakfast sandwich from Millstone Co. The city was so welcoming and nothing was too far away. I would absolutely recommend this house and hope to stay there again in the future.

Beautiful Beach House

This house was amazing! Clean, pet friendly, plenty of room, 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool & tiki bar were our favorite place to hang out with our family. The 3 refrigerators & 2 dishwashers are perfect for large families. This was our 1st time in Murrells Inlet but it will not be our last. Hoping to rent this house again next year.

Ladies Retreat2021

The stay was absolutely wonderful. We had small issues with the sink not wanting to stop running and this was on a Sunday, and maintenance showed right up and fixed it. The property is gorgeous with everything you need. I do recommend putting another wi-fi router on the 3rd floor because connecting to the internet is hard unless you right by the router. Other than that WE LOVED IT!!!

Many Memories Were Made

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house with family. It’s perfect for a larger group. The backyard area is gorgeous (definitely our favorite part) and location is close to the marsh walk. There were 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers and all of our family had their own modern bedroom and bath... and it’s pet friendly too! Only negative was the pool was not heated and we stayed in May. Thank you!

We loved our family vacation with friends! The house is spacious and very welcoming. All spaces are very comfortable. The pool and volleyball yard are fantastic. Great location, very close to the beach access, by the way the beach is also very good, clean and quiet. Highly recommend this place.

Great house in great area.

Overall - great stay. Nice house. Awesome pool area. Plenty of space for our group. Easy beach access and not a crowded beach. Only negative on the place was the cleanliness. The bathrooms and kitchen need a good scrubbing.
