Welcome to Pier Pressure, a premier second-row property located in Garden City Beach. Featuring two levels of furnished covered porches on both the front and the back of the home. Enjoy unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean on both front porches. Located just 0.3 miles north of the Garden City Pier makes this vacation spot ideally positioned within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment, and souvenir shops. Offering an inverted floor plan with five bedrooms on the first level and two additional bedrooms on the second level. Upstairs of the home has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar that allows extra seating for six. The large fenced-in backyard has an outdoor kitchen with a sink. (Outdoor grill is inoperable from Hurricane Ian.) The pool deck is furnished with lounge chairs and two seating areas to enjoy. Ample parking for six vehicles. Please see our Pet Policy that applies to all Pet-friendly homes, which is strictly enforced.

Beautiful Beach House!

I stayed here with 14 of my close friends on a beach/ golf trip and we had a great time. The house was in a perfect location right across the street from the beach, 20 minutes from the airport/ downtown Myrtle Beach, and very close to multiple golf courses. The house was clean, we had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, and it had a great kitchen, dining space, and living room area. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views from the multiple decks. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again on another great trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House had been renovated - mostly nice. A few unfinished items. Porch lights on rear deck ceiling had been removed and were lying on the table. Showed that to workman who came to assist with TV remote issues. Also - the electrical service and tv service wiring outside the house is hanging loose from the house.House was clean. Linens as promised. Great kitchen area, could use some additional silverware. Nice view from front porch to ocean given vacant lot in front. Lots of parking space. Good size rooms.

Never Again, pictures do not describe the actual house

There is a reason the reviews for this house are limited, and limited... Sea Star (Taylor) seems to disregard concerns brought forward and default to the issue being how many times the house has been rented. The house wasn't cleaned, sheets had deep stains, floors were not cleaned, fan was falling off the shift, and too many other issues to list

This is a very popular vacation rental home that has a great following of many happy repeat renters. We regret that you experienced some cleaning and maintenance issues during your stay. We have fulltime maintenance available 7-days a week, including afterhours, so that any problems can be promptly resolved. Unfortunately, the loose ceiling fan you mention was not reported to us until this review, so we were not afforded the opportunity to address during your stay. As you know, the housekeeping items you reported were immediately addressed on the day of your arrival as soon as you reported to us. Our cleaners are available any time a guest feels a reclean is needed. All of our properties are advertised with current photos, additionally, a 3D virtual tour can be viewed at Sea Star Realty's site. It is our mission to ensure our guests have the best, most comfortable vacation experience possible. Misleading Rental

This place looks amazing and from the pictures its easy to be deceived. So here is my experience. Prior to arrival i received a text saying it will be ready for 4pm checkin but to ensure our home was perfectly clean we could expect up to a 5:30pm checkin. I drove 14 hours to be here at 4pm so that was aggrevating already. But we were able to check in promptly at 4pm. Once inside we discovered the main fridge was filthy as was the 2nd level fridge. The floors were cleaned but there was still sand all over them. So we got to cleaning right away. Once we cleaned that mess, which by the way they dont leave a mop and bucket so we purchased one for the week. We started to get settled in. Two of the beds were filthy. There was dirt and sand in them. A few other beds had sand only, its almost as of the cleaning company only made the beds from the previous tenants. So here we are on evening/night one and we have literally washed all bedding, floors, and cleaned refrigerators and any surface that you can think of. Now its vacation but a few of us had work obligations and guess what? No freaking wifi!!!! I did text the provided nember but only received vague responses. Most of them stayed that once they spoke with the team, they would be in c9ntact with us. Wifi was repaired the following day. But here is the kicker, we had originally rented this place because it had an elevator and we have a handicapped person with us. On Thursday evening the elevator quit working.
