Beautiful views and very nice Cabin VERY STEEP road leading up to cabin.

The cabin was very cozy and clean, perfect for relaxing. I suggest having a 4wd or truck to make it to this cabin, little cars wouldn't make it up the Very steep road, straight incline up then a very sharp right turn and incline to the cabin, not much room to turn around back up.

First Time in Townsend

Cabin was as advertised except no washer or dryer. Very clean everything we would need was there. Hot Tub was awesome. Front porch swing was very enjoyable. Weber Charcoal grill worked well. The drive way in was as much fun as a amusement park ride. Nice hills and sharp turns. We will be back again!!

The bed was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. The couch was equally as uncomfortable. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed, but we would never recommend it because of the bed and the couch.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the cabin clean and well-equipped. This is the first time we have ever had a guest mention that the bed or couch was uncomfortable. Mattress comfort can be very subjective, as individual preferences vary widely from person to person. That said, we do take all feedback seriously and will review your comments as we continue to evaluate the comfort of our furnishings. We’re sorry to hear that this impacted your stay and appreciate you letting us know.

Quaint and comfortable cabin

We loved this little cabin! The layout is beautiful and the decor makes it feel like home. ❤️ Only warnings to those that are planning on renting this one is the road to get to the property is narrow, curvy, and steep. Parking is a bit tricky to back in to the property, but I think it would be even more difficult to back out of the parking space. A large vehicle may be very difficult (I drive a CRV and back in to all spaces). Also, a heads up that the shower is smaller than a standard size when it comes to floor space; it was fine for us just had to be careful of the shower curtain (for reference: husband is 6’1” at 180# and I’m 5’8” at 185#).

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you loved the cabin and felt at home with its beautiful layout and decor. ❤️ We also appreciate your helpful tips for future guests! The road can definitely be a bit tricky, and parking can be tight, especially for larger vehicles, so we’re glad you were able to navigate it with your CRV. We’ll make sure to include those details in our guest info to help others prepare. Thanks for the heads up about the shower size as well—everyone’s comfort is important, and we always want guests to feel fully informed. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another great stay!

Disappointed

Little effort had been made for animal eradication. You try to sleep at 2am with scratchy paws above you on the roof.

We were not aware of the squirrel outside of the cabin until the guest made us aware of it when they checked out. We have now taken care of the issue.

Great little get away! Close to everything yet secluded. Owner very friendly and helpful. Been to a lot of cabins in a lot of different places and this one did not disappoint!

Maybe fix roads

I also had a hard time driving those roads, especially at night, very hard to see. And yes slick and quite frightening without 4wd.
