The property was exactly as advertised with great directions into it. First walking into the cabin all the kids at the same time were in awe of how nice it was, and reminded them of a cottage we had growing up. Gave everyone a homey cozy feeling right away. The house was really clean and had everything we could think of that we might have needed. Would def book again and shared it with friends to tell them they need to visit.

We've stayed at this cabin so many times it feels like home. We haven't had many reasons to contact the owners, but when it has been necessary, they respond quickly and have gone above and beyond to make sure our accommodations meet our needs. The cabin is close to all our favorite hiking places and away from the crowds in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It's off the beaten path but still only minutes from the main highway (321) where you can get food, gas or any other staple items you may need during your stay. Great cabin in a great location with great hosts. What more do you need? The nature photos were taken on the road to the cabin.

You will love Fernwood and Evergreen because they are convenient to the heart of Townsend yet they are secluded. They are also really clean and well stocked! Plus...we live close by and are on call for any issue that may arise.

What makes this property unique

The road to our cabin is beautiful! It looks like you are traveling through parts of Cades Cove. But, it is only 7 tenths of a mile down the way....a great way to experience Townsend!
