About this property

A 2 bedroom Cottage with breathtaking views of Glacier National Park

These delightful and detached cottages comfortably sleep 4-5 people with a maximum of 6 (7 with small children). They each have two roomy bedrooms, with a queen bed and closet space. The cottages have a private bath with shower and tub. The vanity is located outside the bathroom. All cottages feature a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor deck with gas grill (propane included). The living room includes a fireplace, a convertible queen sofa sleeper, A/C, Wi-Fi and satellite TV. and shared laundry in our Kiosk. Because the view is a destination all its own, every room at the Cottages at Glacier has deck access and windows facing Glacier Park and St. Mary Lake. Owned and managed by the family that founded the St. Mary Village, The Cottages at Glacier are a cut above when it comes to visiting Glacier National Park in style and comfort.

This cabin was amazing!

The cabin was so clean, and so comfortable, they had absolutely everything you could need, The communication was excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much, I would definitely recommend staying here

Glacier Family Vacation

We loved our stay at The Cottages at Glacier. This property was so convenient to the east side of Glacier NP! The view from the deck was amazing! The property was very clean and comfortable and the property managers stopped by to say hello. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to family to and friends. Our only wish is that we would have had more days here!

Perfect location to enjoy Glacier. Great views. Comfy cottage.

We loved our stay at the Cottages of Glacier. It is a great location to enjoy multiple parts of the park. We visited Many Glacier, Going to the Sun and Lake McDonald, and Two Medicine easily from here. The cottage is very comfortable and a great respite after a day of driving, hiking, or exploring. We especially loved the comfy seating and TV. And, we can't say enough about the gorgeous and ever changing views of Saint Mary Lake and the mountains from the comfort of our cottage. Highly recommend The Cottages at Glacier for your visit to the national park.

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It is a great location, just outside the east entrance to GNP. The check in/out process was super convenient. The best thing about the property is the comfort of the beds. They were SOOOOOO comfortable, which was great after all the miles of hiking in the park. We would absolutely stay here again!

Setting beyond what the photos can display!

The setting of this cabin is high on a ridge w beautiful views that photos cannot depict. The house itself had everything we needed, including Bear spray, reusable water bottles, all kitchen utensils, dishes, towels, soaps and very comfortable beds. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the sun rises and sunsets. We met the owner and her daughter who stopped to make sure we were settled okay. They are great and a good source of information. And in fact the owner had sent out a couple of emails over the months before explaining the changes and new requirement of dated “entry tickets” for entering the park. The cabin is literally across the street from the entrance so we went in and out of the park more than once each day. We had delicious pizza from across the street and were able to find staples at the grocery store across the street. Besides loving going into the park from the East Entrance we swam at some roadside pull outs along the lake and River. The cabin is close to Many Glacier Lodge and we went there to hike to Grimmel Lake. The stay at this cabin was far beyond what we expected and we would go back in a heartbeat.

magnificent view

The view of the mountains from this cabin was magnificent. Sally, the owner, introduced herself and was very attentive to our every need. The location was perfect and close to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The beds were so comfy. We would hike all day, grill on the cabin’s balcony and sip wine as the sunset. Perfection.

Terry and I met at St. Mary in Glacier Park. I am the youngest daughter of the Black family that founded St. Mary Lodge and Resort. Terry came as a guest of my brother, Lucky, and immediately felt at home in Glacier Park and the St. Mary valley. We celebrated our wedding at the St. Mary Lodge and said our vows on the St. Mary River 40 years ago. Our love for and connection to St. Mary runs deep.
We know the hiking and camping well in and around Glacier and will be happy to suggest some of our favorite trails to guests. If you are in search of a great place to fish, a fantastic day hike with astonishing views, or even the best huckleberry patch around, We will be glad to share our favorite spots.
