THE CABIN
This charming, rustic 3-bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests across three comfortable queen bedrooms, each with its own cozy character. Two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dedicated workspace, and free driveway parking make this an easy, comfortable stay for families, groups, and remote workers alike.

The cabin sits on over 3 acres of private land, giving you total seclusion and space to spread out. The property is perfect year-round — just as magical under a blanket of winter snow as it is during a summer sunset. The hot tub is available in every season, ready to warm you up no matter which direction. Whether you're soaking at sunrise or stargazing at midnight, this is an experience you won't forget. A spacious deck and outdoor seating areas give you even more room to take in the incredible surroundings.

HISTORY
This property is steeped in remarkable Black Hills history. The original Flume Trail — built to transport water to the gold mines of the area — runs right behind the cabin along the mountain. Walk around the front of the property along the cliff and you can still see remnants of the historic wooden structure. At the front of the property, the old railroad that operated in the late 1800s and early 1900s once passed through. History is literally at your feet.

PARKING & ACCESS
Free driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles. Self check-in via keypad — your code will be provided prior to arrival.

WINTER ACCESS NOTE: The driveway has a hill. In normal winter conditions it's no issue, but during heavy snowstorms, if you want to park down by the house you'll need 4WD or AWD. The easy alternative: any regular car works fine — just park at the top of the hill and walk down. We'll make sure you have all the info you need before arrival.

Hi, we're Jennifer and Robert — passionate travelers, proud Black Hills locals, and dedicated hosts with over 8 years of experience creating memorable stays for our guests.
Robert is a former Army pilot who still flies for the love of it, and we spend our winters at an airpark in Texas before heading back to the beautiful Black Hills each spring. We've seen a lot of the world, which is exactly why we know what makes a great guest experience — the little details matter, the space should feel like home, and you should never have to wonder if your hosts care.
We do.
The Black Hills are our favorite place on earth and we love sharing them with visitors from all over the world. Jennifer has a passion for photography, family, and our dog, and brings that same eye for detail to every one of our properties. Many of the best features in our homes came directly from guest suggestions — so never hesitate to share your thoughts. We genuinely love hearing from you.
We respond quickly, we go above and beyond, and we'll always do our best to make your stay exceptional. Whether you're here for a weekend adventure, a family reunion, or a Sturgis Rally trip, we're honored to be part of your journey.
Hope to see you soon!
Jennifer & Robert

Thunderhead Falls is just 4 minutes away, Black Hills Caverns is 9 minutes, and Mount Rushmore is just 20 minutes down the road. The historic Flume Trail runs right behind the property, and the area is rich with wildlife, hiking, and scenery that guests return to year after year.

What makes this property unique

There are cabins in the Black Hills, and then there is this cabin. Perched on a genuine clifftop with 360-degree views, a private outdoor hot tub overlooking the Black Hills landscape, over 3 acres of completely private land, and a rich history that includes the original gold mine Flume Trail running right behind the property — this is not a typical rental. Add three comfortable bedrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, pet-friendly accommodations, and over 8 years of Superhost-level hospitality from Jennifer and Robert — and you have a Black Hills experience that guests consistently rate in the Top 10% in the entire area.
