The rental is in a safe friendly neighborhood. A easy walk to the beach CVS, Publix and many places to eat and shop. Also a few miles from downtown Melbourne and a little over an hour to the amusement parks in Orlando
Nice quiet neighborhood, beach is probably 2 min walk at most, there is a crossing that signals cars to stop when you want to cross A1A, for those who live fishing like me, I had my rods and went to Sebastian inlet, there are lots of good people there who will teach and even let you use some of their bait if you brought the wrong one lol. One thing is I if you like to sleep with cold air on it’s a shared AC so maybe a portable AC would be better. Owner is pleasant, doesn’t bother you much, lots of good restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful place for a short stay vacation for sure.
Exactly the place I needed for rest and recovery. The location is ideal: a 5-minute walk to the ocean or an 8-minute walk to downtown Indiatlantic, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Of course, the place itself is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and eat at home if that's preferred. The unit is self-contained in a truly tropical setting: There are banana, lemon and coconut trees on the property. Plus, a huge variety of tropical plants. Gilligan would have been thrilled to be stranded here! For me, one of the biggest assets was Joel, the host. He's non-intrusive but around to loan a bike, instruct on how to use the washer/dryer, and available to chat for those interested in hearing compelling stories about his local and global adventures. All in all, it was an excellent 3-month stay, although longer and shorter stays also are possible. Two thumbs up!
