The Luv Shack at The Cottages of Pirates Bay is a 1232 sf pool-front townhome with 3 parking spots including one with boat/RV hookups. Two equal-sized king bedrooms (one up/one down), 4 twins in bunks in loft space (non-conforming bedroom) and two bathrooms.

Well behaved pets accepted with a nonrefundable pet fee $75, pet fee is collected after booking by your host/homeowner. Please ask about pet policy if you have any questions.

Living room has two comfy recliners and a plush down-filled sofa. The dining table folds down or opens up to seat 4, there are also 4 counter height bar stools. Living area has 69" TV with Roku and Spectrum Select cable w/ 500 mbps WiFi.

Zero steps from the parking lot to the home entrance and 1st floor is accessible with limitations*. High chairs and Pack n Play onsite. Both king mattress are plush. Both BRs have blackout shades behind the shutters.

Guests love the convenient pool front location. Pirates Bay is Port Aransas's original Key West-style community featuring colorful cottages with landscaped walkways between them. There are two lagoon-entry pools with palapas tables for shade, each pool has a restroom. There is also a playground.

Overall our stay was great! We only stayed one night, bc it was a last minute decision. The property was in a great location with access to two pools. Communication with the owner was very prompt and fantastic. It was a comfortable stay for 8 people. Thank you for your hospitality.

2022 Annual Get Away

Our accommodations were perfect! We loved staying at The Love Shack at Pirates Bay. Quick access to the beach and loved that the pool was right outside our front door. Surprisingly enough even when the pool was busy we could not hear the outside noise in the house. The house was perfect! Kitchen well stocked and the kids loved the bunk bed set up in the loft. It was private right at the top of the steps. They had a gate at the top of the steps that was well thought out for the littles. We put a fan in the loft area at night to drown out any noise in the living room below from the adults, the kids slept so well and even slept in, in the morning. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Erinn was our host and she was ready and available with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental and we can’t wait to return next year.

Property had 2 very nice pools to relax in. Close to everything in Port Aransas. Only bad think was not good for golf carts as you are not supposed to cross the highway so you really cant take one

We had a great time. House had everything we needed & more. Close to restaurants & shopping. Port Aransas is nice cozy town. Little grocery store had all we needed. Pool was great. Not crowded at all. Everyone was friendly. Highly recommend.

Perfect for the kids

The kids enjoyed the property. They really enjoyed their loft sleeping area. The location was close enough to the beach but far away enough from the traffic. Short distance to our favorite places to eat. We are already planning our next trip back. Easy to just walk out the front door and into the pool! Very cozy.

Only issue with the property was that the bed frame in the master was broken. Called owner and they sent someone out to fix it within a few hours. Everything else was good. Location is hidden from the crowds, but still close to beach access road and restaurants.

Spring Break 2021

This place was absolutely amazing and being off the beach was great because at night it was super quiet. Everything was up to date and worked great. I brought my kids and some of their friends for spring break and the up stairs was perfect for the kids to have a week long slumber party. It was to cold to swim but the pools looked gorgeous and having one steps away was nice. We will definitely be back here for future trips.

My husband and I have always loved Port Aransas, so in 2011, we purchased a townhome that we could share with others as a vacation rental. Then, as most owners do, we hired a local property manager.

As our daughters grew, I missed the social interaction from my career. We decided I should jump in and try self-managing. I enjoyed it so much, that since that time, we've added 3 homes to our portfolio. We warmly welcome you and take pride in being a small part of your family memories.

In town, handicapped accessible (no steps to front door), no carpet (great for those with allergies) fully stocked kitchen with good quality cookware and utensils. High speed, reliable internet and premium cable. 4 large wall mounted TVs. We've really tried to make this home comfortable for any type of guest. We use 100% cotton sheets and towels.
