Clean and comfortable

Swimming, beach day, and some sight seeing in Corpus, made for a relaxing and fun long weekend with our two young kids and a set of their grandparents. The home was spacious, well-decorated, complete with all the essentials, and had good quality beds. Neighborhood was clean and quiet as well.

Fisherman Will Love

Great property. Well stocked with everything you need for a short stay. Very clean with a great location. Only about half a mile to the nearest marina. Perfect for fisherman. Would stay there again.

Amazzzing stay!

The property is very convenient and close to the beach. It was quiet, peaceful and very clean. We loved the layout of the property and the kids enjoyed having a pool down the street to splash around and have fun. The property had all the amenenities. We will come back again!

Perfect Getaway!!!!!!

We booked this property for a weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. The house was very clean and the amenities were perfect. Pool was just a short walk down the street and had plenty of room, even had a nice size 6” deep area for the little ones. Location was good to as Rockport and Aransas Pass are just a short drive away. Definitely will be booking again!

Excellent get away

I loved it here.we came for my daughters birthday. There was enough space for the family. Close to Rockport beach and near restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts were amazing. We had to be cut short due to the weather and they were sooooo curteous and helpful. It was even well stocked with essential beach items. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic place

I’m writing this review for my parents since I was unable to make this trip due to a last minute situation. My parents are both over 65 and loved this place . They had two grandkids with them and attended the Hummerbird Celebration. They said the place was in a great location, very clean , and quiet. They both stated they would love to return to this home and stay again, hopefully for longer next time :)

Family vacation

This is a great place to stay if you have infants or toddlers. We traveled from TN with a 10 month old so it was nice not having to travel with a pack and play and a portable high chair. The wagon and beach toys were great for our little one and our 2 year old niece. The pool was also great with the 6 inch section and the little water fountains. Both girls really enjoyed that area. The place was the perfect size and never felt crowded. It had everything we needed and we loved that everything was labeled, there was no guessing what light switches went to what and where certain items belong.

Great location

Have you ever heard the phrase “Under promises and over deliver”? This location does exactly that. There was enough parking space for for 3 trucks and boats, or if you prefer for cars, we could have parked 6-7 vehicles easily. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. I loved the chairs on the deck, sitting out there in the evening was great. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics; pots, pans, silverware, dishes, ect. All the extras include made this feel like home. The owner checked in with us periodically over the weekend to make sure there were no issues with the house. The only issue I had was learning where the light switches were. The foot stool/rest had a couple loose legs that I was able to tighten by hand, the owner promised to check that after we checked out. If I did not have to be back at work this week, I would have gladly taken the owner up on extending my stay at the discounted rate he offered for 2 more nights. If you are looking for a beautiful house, in a great location (roughly 1/2 way between Aransas Pass and Rockport) look no further. I rate this house as 5 Stars only because I can’t give it a higher rating. I hope to be able to return to this house in the future. Lance

Why they chose this property

Terri and I love to travel and love the beach. When we first visited Rockport/Port Aransas and the Coastal Bend area we made a quick weekend trip that lasted 48 hours. In that short time we fell in love with the area, the people, and the culture. Rockport/Port Aransas has history, culture, arts, shopping, beaches, live music events, hunting and fishing. Rockport also has hiking and kayaking and just about everything else outdoors.
