Had a wonderful stay at this perfect property! It had every amenity we needed for a 1 month stay in San Francisco. Excellent location…walking distance to the marina, shops, restaurants, parks, etc. Hosts we absolutely delightful!

The Marina

This great little apartment is so well maintained and the location couldn't be better. The owners are the nicest and always available if something is needed. They make sure you feel like you are in a home away from home. Can't recommend it enough. We will hopefully be back!

The unit was great. Both the bathroom and the kitchen are updated. Everything we needed was there. The backyard was a great place to relax. We were there for six weeks in June and July and had NO need for either the heat or A.C. The neighborhood is quiet. It is a short walk to everything you might need on Chestnut Street. You have your own laundry. The owners were great. They were kind and communicated punctually. It is a perfect location. We enjoyed the shopping, food, and drinks on Chestnut Street. But the biggest plus for us was being able to walk five minutes to either the Palace or the Marina Green and beach with amazing views of the bridge. The bus stops are less than five minutes away, and we were comfortable getting around on the bus for six weeks. It was the BEST stay we have ever had and we hope to come back.

Perfect Marina Haven

From the rapid response at booking and to questions, to our sad check-out leaving our new host-friends, Iona and Steve, this stay was perfect. The apartment is very clean and inviting, has a well-stocked kitchen (bring your own favorite condiments) with modern appliances, great shower, lots of storage with plenty of drawers and closet space, comfy bed, and that garden! It was chilly during our stay so we didn't enjoy the outside much, but it was beautiful and calming to look at and made the ample space feel larger. A washer and dryer were a bonus. The location couldn't be better - we were there for a month to help out with our new granddaughter a few blocks away, and with the proximity to Chestnut St which has great restaurants and shops, and the Marina Green for wonderful walks along the water with that Golden Gate view, we loved every minute. We felt totally safe at all hours in this beautiful neighborhood and really didn't need a car at all. In the bustle of city life, this apartment is a genuinely welcome oasis, and Iona is an absolutely lovely and responsive host. We look forward to another stay here soon!
