The Marina

This great little apartment is so well maintained and the location couldn't be better. The owners are the nicest and always available if something is needed. They make sure you feel like you are in a home away from home. Can't recommend it enough. We will hopefully be back!

Perfect Marina Haven

From the rapid response at booking and to questions, to our sad check-out leaving our new host-friends, Iona and Steve, this stay was perfect. The apartment is very clean and inviting, has a well-stocked kitchen (bring your own favorite condiments) with modern appliances, great shower, lots of storage with plenty of drawers and closet space, comfy bed, and that garden! It was chilly during our stay so we didn't enjoy the outside much, but it was beautiful and calming to look at and made the ample space feel larger. A washer and dryer were a bonus. The location couldn't be better - we were there for a month to help out with our new granddaughter a few blocks away, and with the proximity to Chestnut St which has great restaurants and shops, and the Marina Green for wonderful walks along the water with that Golden Gate view, we loved every minute. We felt totally safe at all hours in this beautiful neighborhood and really didn't need a car at all. In the bustle of city life, this apartment is a genuinely welcome oasis, and Iona is an absolutely lovely and responsive host. We look forward to another stay here soon!
