About this property

Direct beachfront townhouse condo on the beach, beautiful views of the ocean, sunsets, and beach. Very private uncrowded residential beach area.

Beautiful two story private townhouse style condo with beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. You will have the opportunity to see beautiful sunset views of the ocean from the living room balcony and the private on-suite master bedroom balcony.

This location has only two other units in the building. Master bedroom has a private balcony with ocean facing sunset views. The living room balcony is located on the main floor over looking the ocean with the spiral staircase that has direct access to the beach.

Each bedroom has their own ensuite, and the laundry room is conveniently located between bedrooms.

There is parking under the condo for 2 vehicles. Also a large locker with beach chairs in the parking area. There are outdoor showers to wash off all the beach sand and salt after swimming.

You can play a round of golf at one of the many nearby courses, and then sit back and relax with a refreshing beverage as you take in the scenery.

This wonderful beach retreat is the perfect place to relax and recharge. With the warm waters and white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico right out your door, you will feel like you have found paradise.

Location/proximity to the beach was excellent! (Looks like the recent hurricane made the number of steps to the sand even less!?!) Tom was excellent in communicating and responding to questions! This condo was perfect for our family if 3!

Great 2 weeks on the gulf!

Condo was as advertised...2 balconies beachfront, everything you'd need and plenty of extras. Clearly the whole area is recovering from the storms, but the condo was not damaged. Needs a little freshening up, but nothing of any concern. Would return,!

MOLD IN RENTAL*

This unit should not be allowed for rent. There is clear evidence of water damage. Mold is growing in every room. The closet doors have mold, around the air vents and behind the wallpaper. I addressed my concerns with the host and his resolution was to send housekeeping to wipe the mold off the areas I photographed and sent to VRBO complaining about the heath hazards of this unit. I advised the host that I would be leaving the rental and requesting a refund. This whole experience was a nightmare. No one should spend almost $300 a night to stay in a mold infested house. I’m currently working with VRBO to get compensation for this unfortunate ordeal.

AMAZING!!!!!!

This was a beautiful location!! There are a lot of steps that did not bother me, but my family complained quite a bit. Tom's mirrors are deceiving. You are not a beautiful golden brown, you are burnt :) LOL He has everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach. The balconies are beyond perfect. Beds are comfortable! Fridge is cold. There are condiments, salt, pepper, etc already in the fridge. If you are looking to stay busy and party this is not the spot for you. It is quiet and peaceful, but a 20 minute drive to Clearwater where you can party all night. I can't wait to have the opportunity to go back. Tom was right on top of the little bit of communication I did with him. Very fast response time. My family had an amazing time!!

Million dollar view

A few steps to the beach. Great shelling- we got some great shells. The owner was very attentive and answered quickly. The view from both balconies were great and the sunsets were phenomenal.

Worst experience ever

Mold! Uninhabitable & unsafe to stay. Hit by the strong smell of mold like opening a bag of green, molded bread but 100 times worse! So much mold on everything, kitchen walls, bedroom walls, bathroom walls, fridge, air vents, baseboards, ceiling , pillows and bed spreads! I’ll give the host he was prompt to answer his phone, but from there the helpfulness ended. At first we called to let him know the ceiling had leaked and the ceiling was falling and cracking in the living room and the house smelled of mold/musty. While I was in the phone my husband started spotting the mold all over the walls in kitchen. The owner said he would send ckeaner out to clean it. was just a little surface Mold because the cleaner had left the air conditioner too hot after a storms. We were trying to be reasonable and took his word that it was just a little bit of surface mold in the kitchen but it smelled awful And we were getting headaches so we planned on leaving until something could be done with it. While we were gathering our kids up to load back up in the car we started noticing more and more mold. Everywhere you looked. A cleaner came and was there under an hour. There was still an awful smell and visible mold everywhere when we returned 1 hr later. It was unsafe to stay there, esp. with an immunocompromised infant and young children. Owner refused to refund after hours of pleading, said “it was fine” We left immediately! Beware! Vrbo still unresolved and sent to healt&safety ticket.

Family Vacation

We were very happy with our stay at Pelican Point. Our host was very easy to contact and was available to assist with anything we needed. There was a worn out lint trap in the dryer and when I let him know, he quickly ordered a replacement and had it sent immediately. It was evident he wanted our stay to be enjoyable and he genuinely cares that his guests are happy and comfortable. The actual condo would be perfect for anyone traveling with kids, as the family room furniture conveniently turns into large sleeping areas…and not the old school- uncomfortable mattresses. Some of our favorites… -easy beach access right from our patio -nice large patio with a conveniently located palm tree that gives some shade in one corner during the evening hours -large jetted tub (my son’s fave) -washer and dryer located on second floor with bedrooms (mom’s fave) 😂 -2 minute walk to Caddy’s restaurant/bar -nice large beach closet to keep everything in (includes chairs, umbrellas, etc) -great neighbors who live there full time, everyone was really kind, helpful and friendly If you are looking for a great family vacation, look no further! -

This was a absolutely amazing place for my family. The place was very clean and has everything you need for a vacation. The view from the balcony was beautiful ocean view with a private beach. Our thoughts about our experience at Pelican Pointe.

We didnt realize there were numerous steps from garage to condo entry. That was an iissue for us. We had difficulty with master bath sliding doors so we did not use it except tried to once. The ice and water on refrigerator was not operable. This beachfront condo is wonderful for a quiet relaxing vacation and was just what we wanted. Beach access superior and sunsets divine. Thank you Tom. I hope we were good tenants and would like to return in the near future.

Absolutely Breathtaking!

Tom’s place is a perfect on the beach retreat! Our favorite spot was on the balcony each day for morning coffee and evening wine. We watched the beauty of the ocean activity each morning (we even saw dolphins) and the stunning sunsets in the evenings. Being just steps away, we enjoyed our 2nd favorite spot….the beach! Tom has beach chairs, umbrellas and various beach toys and floats for the best relaxation in the sun and ocean. It’s so easy to set up for the day and go back and forth to the condo for lunch, a break or to grab another drink. The beach is very clean with beautiful white sand and you can walk forever in either direction. You can even ride bikes along the shore! We also enjoyed being very close to restaurants for dinner in the evening and most within a short distance from the condo. Indian Shores is very clean, easy to navigate with lots of things to do and explore. The condo itself is very clean and designed well for good privacy. My friend and I each had our own room with our own bathrooms. A big plus is the half bath on the main as well. Tom’s place is well stocked with extras so be sure to inventory before shopping if possible to see what is already there. We will definitely be back….thanks Tom!

Great beach stay

This is our second time staying at Tom‘s place and it is a real gem on the Gulf Coast. The view from the balcony is fantastic! Beautiful sunsets! This part of the beach is not crowded at all. It is so nice to be able to go out and have plenty of room. There were several upgrades to the property since we were there just a few months ago. New lighting and deck furniture. Tom has everything you need for going out to the beach in his storage area on the ground floor. It is so nice to have umbrellas, chairs, floaties, etc. to use on the beach. You can really show up with just minimal gear and have a great stay. Parking is so convenient and shaded! Tom is a great host and very responsive also. Highly recommend this location!
