Gorgeous views and adorable cabin! Loved the convenience of being 15-25 min from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while also being secluded.

I love this cabin, it was just like the pictures! As everyone else has stated the drive way is very very steep and you will more than likely need a truck or a vehicle that is up higher than a car. We did take my car and did fine as long as I wasn’t the one driving lol! The 2 roads leading up the house also are very steep hills as well. Overall this place was an amazing place to stay at!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay — the cabin itself is very pretty and cozy, and the surrounding area is peaceful. It’s clear the owners have put thought into creating a comfortable getaway spot. That said, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The roads in and out of the property are very steep and were heavily covered with leaves, which made driving a bit challenging, especially in the rain. I’d suggest having the driveway and access roads leaf-blown regularly for safer and easier access.A few maintenance and cleanliness issues stood out as well: the upstairs carpet is in need of a deep clean — it felt unpleasant to walk on and left our socks dirty. The dishwasher had a strong odor when opened, and overall, the cabin could benefit from a more thorough cleaning between guests. It was also disappointing that there was no complimentary coffee provided, especially since the welcome board encourages guests to “enjoy coffee on the deck at sunrise.” The Wi-Fi was also spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected on our phones. Lastly, while the setting is pretty, there isn’t much of a mountain view, which might be something to note for guests looking for that classic cabin vista. With a few improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and guest touches, this cabin could easily be a five-star stay.

The drive was awful to the cabin. The toilet down stairs wouldn’t run without turning the water off & on. If the toilet was on the sink wouldn’t work. The WiFi went in & out. The dishwasher didn’t work.

Anniversary trip

The cabin was everything described. The pictures don't do it justice, looks even better in person. Feels like home. The loft bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the view. It had a secluded feel even with neighbors nearby. Definitely follow the directions given not the GPS. Road and driveway to the cabin are very steep. A truck or vehicle with 4 wheel drive is necessary. Really enjoyed the stay. We will stay again.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 with room to spare. Definitely take the advice from the description and do not follow the GPS route. The road up to including the driveway are pretty steep but if you are careful you will be fine as I drove packed Acura tsx and made it with little issue. We definitely will be coming back in the fall to better enjoy the awesome view.

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was nice and very private! The only thing that was rough was the road getting up to it and parking. It was like driving on a dried up creek bed and the driveway was really steep! We enjoyed our stay though!

Great cabin, no bears and no water.

The cabin is wonderful though a challenge to get to and park. One way in was heavily rutted and rocky. The other was a couple of hairpin turns. The water pressure was so bad that we could barely use it. Had to buy water bottles for coffee. Lots of things to fo in this area. We chose to visit a couple of caves - Forbidden Cave on Saturday and Tuckaleechee Cave and Cade's Cove on Sunday. The fire pit was nice. I liked the hot tub but my wife said it smelled to musty. Definitely someplace I would visit again but for the water pressure.

It is a very beautiful place but…

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, but some things need to be fixed, like the barbecue, the microwave. The cabin urgently needs a deep cleaning, it's full of dust everywhere, the porch hasn't been cleaned for a long time, besides dust there are cobwebs everywhere. The hot tube also needs to be cleaned. And another detail that caught my attention, the access to the cabin is one of the worst, the road is all bumpy. Despite all this, we had a good time.

Over all it was nice!

I loved the viewing and the layout was nice. BUTTTTTT, IF U DONT HAVE A SUV PLEASE I REPEAT PLEASE DONT CHANCE GOING HERE WITH A SMALL CAR! THE ROADS ARE EXTREMELY DAMAGED AND LOOKS LIKE A EARTHQUAKE HIT TO WHERE THE ROAD IS BROKEN APART AND IS REALLLLY HARD TO NAVIGATE! THERE WERE BIG ROCKS THAT U HAD TO DRIVE OVER AND A SMALLER VEHICLE WOULD NOT MANAGE IT! IF THE ROADS WERE FIXED I WOULD GO BACK NEXT YEAR FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY BUT UNTIL THEN I WONT!WERE BOOKED FOR A 4 DAY HONEYMOON & ONLY LEFT ONCE DUE TO THE ROAD! AND THATS THE ONLY WAY TO GET UP THERE. NO OTHER ROADS TO GO AROUND IT. FIX THE ROADS!!

Fun stay!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean and well kept. Only about a 10 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and not a bad drive from Smoky Mountain National Park. My kids loved the hot tub and the view from the porch every morning was beautiful. Negatives- The driveway getting up to the house is very steep. Our suv struggled (not 4 wheel drive) especially when it was wet from rain. We parked most the time on the flat switch back half way up and walked the rest of the way. The neighborhood roads getting to the cabin are also extremely steep. The laundry room is located in the basement of the cabin. If you want to wash clothes you have to go outside and use an exterior door. It is essentially a little crawl space big enough for a washer and dryer. We opted to rewear clothes rather than use the laundry, but there is one available if your in a bind.

Anniversary Trip

We loved the view, the hot tub and watching the sunrise on the deck. The loft bed is very comfortable. Definitely enjoyed coffee and wine on the deck. Trust the advice--do not follow the GPS. My husband followed the GPS and it was "beary" scary. I grew up in Montana but have been in Vegas for 24 years. The narrow, winding, two lane road at night made me question my choice. We then hit the rugged road and that was fine but it is indeed a rugged dirt road. The driveway is steep; make sure you have a vehicle that can handle it. The house is clean and yet, it needs a deep clean--it's time to get ride of the cobwebs and speaking of this--the outside could use attention. There is a mouse problem and waking up to mouse droppings on the floor and counter top was annoying and concerning. We ended up eating every meal out because we didn't want to deep clean dishes. I do think that when I opened up the door to hear the rain, the little guy may have ran out or, it was a different mouse running around on the deck. The upstairs TV doesn't have a cable so we couldn't watch TV up there but being just me and my husband and primary watching downstairs, that wasn't an issue for us, but could be for a family. We enjoyed the pool table. Overall, I'd come again if I knew that there wasn't a mouse issue.

Thanksgiving trip

The view from the cabin is spectacular. It’s a very cozy and inviting place. Clean and stocked with all of the necessities except for firewood. You will need to get your own if you visit during a cold month. Also, the drive up is quite challenging as it’s very steep and would not be accessible during snow or ice.

Big Bear Bluff

Great cabin! Beautifully decorated and super clean...not a bug, cobweb, or ant to be found. Super cozy with fireplace, great kitchen with all new appliances, super loft space with pool table, and comfy beds. The exterior is rustic with a great wrap around porch with multiple seating options. The approach roads and driveway are SUPER STEEP, so be prepared. We will definitely be back!
