Your cabana is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, freezer, blender, juicer, microwave, electric stove, toaster oven, and coffee maker to make snacks or meals. For a change of pace, try the common BBQ area with picnic seating and sear something on the grill. Enjoy plenty of natural light coming in through the big windows, a veranda where you can nap in the hammock and dine alfresco, and modern comforts that include free WiFi and a smart TV.

This cabana is located in Surfside, a relaxing area of the Placencia Peninsula near the beach and the Caribbean Sea. You'll also find several dining options, a few bars, supermarkets, and a miniature golf course within walking distance. Don't forget to visit the beautiful coral reef by booking a snorkeling or scuba diving trip.

No on-site pool available, however, most resorts in Maya Beach will offer pool access if food or drinks are purchased. The nearest resort with these facilities is a 5-minute walk away.

The stay was great. The place has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cabana is super clean and Zun has been super nice and helpful every step of the way! And perfect location to view all of placencia when on your way to the main town (10 minutes away)

Cute Cabana near lots of activities

The cabana was cute but not for staying more than 3-4 days, especially with the small amount of linens and towels provided. The first day it was easy to get into contact with the host but afterwards they would say they would help but never showed up or just stopped responding.

Great cabana & location!

Spent a week at Inn the Trees! Was perfect for my trip! Great location! Simple property! Very restful! Located in the Surfside neighborhood on the Placencia peninsula, the village of Maya Beach is just minutes to the north, and village of Siene Bight is just minutes south. Both have grocery stores and great restaurants. The main Placencia village is 5 miles south with many restaurants and shops, so you will need a car or call the local taxis! Great communication from the property managers before, during, and after my stay! Felt super safe and secure all week! Security cameras visible and staff stopped by daily to remove trash. Good wifi. Good 4G cell service. Treehouse style cabanas are perfectly equipped for your stay. Basic kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hotplate and all cooking utensils makes meals easy if you choose to eat in! There is AC, however it's only in the bedroom, and with much of the cabana being only screens, during warmer weather, you may find yourself spending a lot of time in the bedroom with the door closed! Neighboring cabanas are far enough away for privacy, however noise travels easy especially if neighbors are loud. There are quiet hours posted! Book this property!

Clean, Convenient, and Aesthetically pleasing!

Great stay here!! The AC was crucial and worked well. The double fans helped as well. We loved hanging out in the hammock and looking out at the vegetation. Very clean and well kept. It is necessary to rent a golf cart to get anywhere/everywhere. We rented ours from Captain Jaks. The TV had Netflix ready to go and the WiFi was fast. This was a fantastic place to stay! (17 minute golf cart ride to placencia, 8 minutes golf cart ride to maya beach)

Amazing place to stay!

What a wonderful place to stay. So peaceful! Super comfortable bed and a lovely deck with a hammock to relax on. The BBQ area was cool as well. Our hostess was super warm and helpful and even made up the futon for us and provided extra pillows for our friend who stayed a night with us. Can’t wait to return!!! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property & Attentive Owners

I stayed at Inn The Trees for my first ever visit to Belize, and it was above and beyond what I had expected! Check in was easy. There was always space to park, and they also had bikes available to use. I went solo and stayed for 8 days. I felt safe and comfortable. The property is beautiful and conveniently located in Placencia. I didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

The Coziest cabaña on the peninsula

Whenever we head down to southern Belize, Inn The Trees is our go-to reservation. I have stayed at the wonderful cabañas three times and have enjoyed every single stay. Their cute and cozy design of the cabana makes it feel like a home away from home. With such calming views and all the amenities you could possibly need, it's hard to tear yourself away - even for the beach.

Lovely little treehouse

It was our first time in Placencia so we had no clue which part is best to stay in. Just so glad we made the right choice. We all loved the idea. Not the type of accommodation that you would normally get. Every corner and everything in the house was so clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. The owner was very accommodating. We came a bit too early and was allowed early check-in. Highly recommended.
