Van Gogh's Fig Tree

It is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century. At the entrance of this farmhouse, there was a fig tree. Vincent Van Gogh tasted these figs during his stay in Saint-Paul, a stone's throw from the farmhouse, very close to the archaeological site of Glanum.

This farmhouse is a house where it is good to meet, in peace. A large terrace (130 square meters), a swimming pool (11x4.5 m - depth: 1.25 to 1.65 m - room with WC and shower) and a pool house (60 square meters), a living room with a beautiful fireplace, a friendly American kitchen overlooking the dining room with fireplace, three bedrooms, a bathroom (spa bath, shower, sink) and a bathroom on the ground floor (shower, toilet, sink) 160 square meters of living space to welcome you with family or friends, 10 minutes' walk from the city center. 3 parking spaces in the closed property.non-obstructing adjoining

This is a beautiful property! This amazing stone home gave us a real feeling of Provence. We visited in September and enjoyed the pool and pool house where we prepared our evening meals. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our host was amazing! She was helpful with suggestions about the area and replied quickly to our questions. We loved our stay and hope to return! We had the most wonderful stay at the Van Gogh Fig Tree. Stéfane was an amazing host—thoughtful, responsive, and attentive in all the ways that make guests feel comfortable and cared for. The house and property itself together were gorgeous, honestly even more beautiful than the photos, which I didn't think was possible. Perfectly located to feel tucked away from the bustle of town and close enough to walk to lunches and dinners within 20ish minutes. Our family fell completely in love with the town during our stay—such a special place we’ll remember for a long time. We highly recommend a stay here!

We had the most wonderful stay at Van Gogh’s Fig Tree. We are a family of 4 with 2 grandparents with us and this property was perfect in every way. It catered for us so well and really felt like home for the5 nights we were there. The property is immaculate and has everything you need. The pool area was a real treat with the hot weather and was heavily used by the children.The location is great, just a 10-15mins easy walk to town and communication with Stephane was so easy.Highly recommend this property and Saint Remy as a base for visiting Provence.

A beautiful home in Provence

The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. It is well appointed and has everything you need if you want to cook a meal. The pool is lovely and refreshing and private. It is an easy walk to town. We really enjoyed staying here!

Exceptional Home and Experience

We spent six wonderful days in this lovely home. Our host Stéphane was very attentive. We had seamless booking, check-in, and check out processes. I highly recommend this home for a family stay. The pool and pool house was such a treat after a long day of sightseeing. It is an easy stroll into Saint Rémy and offers quick access to spectacular hikes and Roman ruins. We used this home as a base to explore Provence. Saint Rémy is the perfect size with a diversity of great restaurants, cafes, shops, and culture. We were thrilled we selected this location and this home.

Delightful home to bask Van Gogh’s sunlight and feel the breeze of Le Mistral

We enjoyed this house so much! Very well appointed and thoughtful to the needs of vacationers. We traveled from the United States and found it suited our needs perfectly. We spent the majority of our time poolside, using the pool cabana kitchen which has its own set of cookware, dishes and tools. You’ll even find it has its own salt and pepper so you don’t need to carry anything from the house. The dishwasher and trash bins ant the pool outside made it extra easy to clean up. The pool was lovely and refreshing after walks to the town center, Les Antiques or Saint-Paul. We took easy going walks around the neighborhood in the evenings, taking in the beautiful views of the Apilles, olive groves and craggy cypress trees. There is a bucket of boules and you can play on the well kept lawn around the pool. As to the beds, all were very comfortable with good quality bed linens. Showers and spa bathtub were lovely and the bathrooms were well appointed and up to date. We received both bath and pool towels to use and that was really helpful. WiFi was excellent, and there is separate WiFi at the pool so you can stay connected. So many nooks to find your own space. The charm is wonderful and we dined under the jasmine and wisteria every day. It was easy to manage our vehicle as the remote controlled gate was simple to operate and we had plenty of room to park and turn around. At night, the lighting of the grounds is very lovely. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Bijzonder tevreden, super huis!

Dit huis is een droom. Vrij dicht bij het stadscentrum (een kwartier wandelen) en hoewel er twee andere huizen aanpalend zijn, een volkomen privacy zonder inkijk gegarandeerd. Superzwembad met aanpalend een lounge met grote tafel, kleine keuken, vaatwasser en plancha. De keuken binnen is OK (niet veel potten, maar wel een Amerikaanse frigo met ijsmachine). Airco boven (een in de master bedroom en een in de gang, gemeenschappelijk voor de twee andere kamers). Het huis zelf is koel, zelfs bij 36° buiten. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst door gastvrouw Stephane en heel weinig poespas bij vertrek. Het was een superrelaxte vakantie!

L’accueil de la part de Stéphane est irréprochable : efficace, fiable, précis et agréable. Les photos visibles sur l’annonce sont totalement conformes aux lieux. La maison est très propre, spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le pool house est un avantage majeur. Il est évident que tout à été élaboré de manière à ce que les occupants ne manque de rien et donc que l’on puisse passer un séjour optimal. L’emplacement est parfait, calme et à proximité du village. Merci encore à Stéphane, nous réserverons à nouveau pour l’été 24.

Villa mit Charme

Sehr stilvolle Villa mit wunderschöner Poolanlage. Ausstattung nicht auf dem neusten Stand aber funktional und sauber. Der Garten und die Sitzplätze sind ein Bijou und sehr gepflegt. Die sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermieter stehen jederzeit für Auskünfte und Tipps zur Verfügung. Die zentrale Lage ernöglicht es zu Fuss das wunderschöne Städtchen Saint Remy zu erreichen um das sehr guten Gastronomie-Angebot auch geniessen zu können. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Angebot desshalb nur weiterempfehlen.

Superbe maison mais très mitoyenne

Deux semaines vraiment top dans cette belle demeure, beaucoup de charmes, fraîche et un plaisir à vivre ! L’espace piscine est incroyable ! Seul bémol la maison est mitoyenne des deux côtés et des travaux sur un côté ont été réalisé pendant notre séjour. Alors ce ne sera pas éternel ! Merci !
