Reviewer Comments: Management was great room needs a couple of things to make the stay for the price better like twin bed matters where very bad, could have uses a couple of more bath towels. Bathrooms have mold on the ceiling!

Needs some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view, good location. The condo needs some attention. Bathroom faucet is lose, no working under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, the main sliding door was impossible to open for our kids.... until we adjusted it ourselves and lubricated it with cooking spray.The guest room TV is broken as the bottom of the screen doesn't work. The front door lock is temperamental and works 60% of the time. Basic kitchen supplies would have been a bonus, no cookie sheet even.

Great location, poor amenities

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a fantastic location and quite literally 100 feet from the beach. Located in Seagrove Beach, it's a 1.5 miles to Seaside. The space is plenty but when we arrived it felt like the floors had not been swept or mopped, dirty dishes and 2/3 TV's didn't work so we had to call management for help. The biggest disappointment is having no condiments or enough supplies to run dishwasher or have toilet paper. We had to run across the street to gas station to buy toilet paper b/c they only give you 3 rolls, and 2 dishwasher pods. I have never experienced that with renting a vacation rental. G

Beautiful place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is very spacious & updated, the views are beautiful. The management company is quickly responsive, although the answers vary depending on who answers the phone. Pack extra supplies (TP, napkins, laundry det, etc), as not enough is provided. Our only major complaint with this location is that there is public beach access in between this building and the one directly next door. So although you will have a "private" beach, there is a lot of traffic and some people who are headed to the public beach decide to use the private beach instead. They were asked to leave by the young man setting up the chairs, but several parties refused. When my husband asked, we were told there's really nothing they can do. Apparently, "private beach" is a courtesy, not a law. And if they set up camp close to the shoreline, they are within their rights (just as people can walk along the shoreline on a private beach). So despite have our chair setup in the first row, the public beach goers would camp out right in front of us. Very frustrating. Otherwise, we had a great time and would consider staying here again.

Great location but needs a few updates

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay here and would stay again. Location is amazing and gulf views are stunning. The furniture in 3 bedrooms (not the master) need serious updating. The bunk beds felt wobbly and unsafe. The two other beds in the guest rooms were so old and the mattresses were horrible. It’s super easy to update mattresses and makes the room feel more cozy with some upgraded decor and furniture! If you did that, it would be a perfect place to stay. Maybe even add a rug underneath the beds to make the rooms not feel sterile. I know it’s hard to clean sand, but floors and bunk beds were sandy when we arrived ;(Benchmark was great, they came out right away when there was an issue.

Lovely Week

Legacy unit 403

Reviewer Comments: While we all enjoyed our vacation at Seagrove Beach and working with the management company was helpful, we were dissatisfied with the condition of the unit. The unit was anything but clean. One of the bathrooms had to be recleaned, it was totally unacceptable. The mattress in the 3rd bedroom had springs popping up, extremely uncomfortable, cushions in the sofas were torn, stains in the sofa. We did most of the cleaning as we didn’t want housekeeping coming again to reclean. With the cost of the rental, we expect much better quality. We will not be staying in this unit again.

The condo had sand on the floor when we arrived. Every single bed/mattress is very uncomfortable! The public access was right next to condo. There were two huge tents on the beach right in the middle right in the front row which is supposed to be a private beach but looks like public beach! For the price you pay it should have stricter rules for the paying customer! Tents should be in back of umbrella and chairs! Location was pretty good. Parking lot could use some paving! Overall good experience but price of rental too high! I understand clearly you are paying for location…but make it worth it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was perfect for our party of 10. RIGHT on the beach, literally 5 minutes down to our beach chairs! Condo was clean, comfy nice living room furniture and outside furniture perfect! We had a toilet issue and mgmt co easy to get ahold of and nice maintenance man was there immediately to fix it. So nice to be right on the beach even on rainy days. Easy bike ride into Seaside, or several amazing restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back!

outstanding view, convenient and idyllic

Reviewer Comments: there were 8 family members in our group; the configuration of rooms was perfect for our needs. an unexpected plus is that Legacy has fewer beach access steps over the dunes than any other properties, a real benefit to those of us who have difficulty with stairs. the only blight on our stay was that on the morning we left, a cleaning lady opened our door with her code before 7:45, a bit intrusive and unexpected. another annoyance...there were no batteries in TV remotes so we had to go out and purchase some before watching the tube. the house is well equipped but we would recommend the purchase of a baking sheet and a decent toaster, both could be had for $20. everything was in good repair, the toilet in master bath needs to be tightened as it's wobbly. we loved our stay and loved the condo.

The guys were very sweet but it did take most of a day. Benchmark gave us a free day at the end of our stay. So instead of checking out on Friday we checked out on Saturday! Friday was FREE! Over and above what we thought we would be compensated.

Reviewer Comments: Third year at Legacy was good: but on our last night Friday July 17th five "adults" (under 25?) took over the pool near midnight and woke up everyone within earshot laughing,talking loudly and carrying on. One day we happened to see the rep of the HOA at the pool restrooms and she gave us the code for the ladies room 2468. We were only given the code for the men's room 1357 in the info emailed to us and it never worked just like last year. She said they will be replacing it soon. It would be nice to have a trash can near the elevator as folks were using the empty plant container near the elevator until a plant was put in on Thurs or Fri. We had 3 kids with us and found the bunk beds had only the bottom sheets on the beds with the top sheets folded up under the pillows. We added the top sheets as best we could. Worst experience with benchmark to date

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Couldn’t check in at 3 as other companies allowed there guests to check in, power out in MB, refrigerator was hot and had to let cool for 24 hrs, boxes on top of hot water heater which they charged me for “trash” cleanup, beach was full of public beach access people. Also, the beach chair place they recommended cancelled on us the day before the trip. Overall, bad experience. Customer service reps were rude.

We are sorry that you did not have an amazing experience while with us at the beach. Our check in time is 4:00 and while we realize some companies may differ, this is our check in time and it hasn't changed. If you read any of the information prior to or after making your reservation you would see that our check in time has always been after 4:00. Regarding being charged for trash clean up - the boxes that were left were only a portion of why you were charged. We rarely charge a guest more for cleaning and will only do so in situations that are extreme. We will also share pictures with our guests if this is the case. And you are correct about the beaches. This is a very popular vacation destination in the summer as folks love to come enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast.
