Great views and plenty of room for adults and kids alike. Enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Site seeing attractions not too far away and beautiful scenery along the way.
Exceeded expectation in all ways. Property was vast and beautiful. Location close to many day adventures!! Panoramic views that didn't disappoint. Comfortable beds and everything you needed. Lovely
Awesome house, everything you need is provided and there is great internet access for you remote workers that can’t put it down! In all seriousness, it was a great place and perfect for what we needed.
This property was the perfect getaway for 3 couples to get together. We all enjoyed the quite awesome views this place has. It was nice to come home to after a day of sightseeing in the Colorado Springs area. We also enjoyed the Cripple Creek area. Thanks for a great vacation!
This is our 2nd time to stay here and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time! We love all the privacy and the view is spectacular! The house is very clean and has just about anything you need. The only thing I would do before going to the cabin is get bags of ice, because the ice machine in the fridge was broken and we had to go back in town to get bags of ice after we checked in. Other than that!! Everything is amazing!
Beautiful home on an expansive property. Home had everything we needed, and the views from the porch were incredible. It is pretty deep into the hills on a long dirt road so just be aware it’s going to be a decent drive if you’re heading anywhere for activities from the house. Tons of land to roam and hike and relax though. We had a great stay.
Nice cabin with great views. Nice location! Hot tub was nice and the home was clean. Plenty of hummingbirds around but if you go you should take some hummingbird nectar because the feeders were empty and the birds keep coming by to feed. Great Place!
This was our second time visiting this fantastic home. The pictures do not do it justice. Property is stunning, home has everything you need and very clean. We day tripped to the zoo, Garden of the Gods and hiked at 11 mile state park.
Very grateful to have the opportunity to spend time at this location.
This was our first time visiting Colorado and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, it was just as described. The land was so much fun to explore, and we loved the drive to and from the house. The view from the house was amazing and we loved sitting on the deck at night and looking at the stars. We saw deer and Moose on the property and our kids loved the hot tub. There was so much to see and do in close proximity to the house. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home and helping make our trip one we will never forget.
The cabin was beautiful and spacious. The property was fun for hikes. If you want seclusion, it's perfect. We enjoyed ourselves so much and loved the views from the deck. So many awesome sunsets and mountain views. I did have a few helpful criticisms regarding some needed updates and fixes around the cabin. I sent that list to the property management team .(They were only things I would want to improve if indeed I owned the property). Overall, it was a great place to stay.
We had a wonderful time in Colorado, and loved our vacation home. The amenities were great, house was very clean and the full kitchen with lots of extras, made it really nice. The only suggestion we would make is to have fans in each room because in July it doesn’t get cool enough at night to cool off the room, Especially on the third floor. But overall, we had a great time on our vacation, and coming back to the vacation home was awesome.

Hi Jennifer! Thanks very much for taking the time to review the cabin. At your suggestion, we have supplied portable fans for each bedroom, as well as the living room. Thank you for the suggestion!
We hope to host you again in the future!
The location of this house is phenomenal. It's at the end of a dirt road so there was no traffic at all. The views of the valley and surrounding ridges was epic. The house was spacious and comfortable. I would rent this place again. There is a hot tub, but unfortunately it wasn't working when we arrived. The property owner/manager made us aware of this before we arrived which we were very appreciative of.

This is an AMAZING home and property!!
We had such a great time at this property!! So peaceful and so beautiful. We walked all over the place. You just can't put into words the beauty that you will see. I took tons of pictures but they don't even begin to show how wonderful it is. The house was awesome and really spacious. The only thing is the wifi wouldn't work but not a big issue. We can't wait to go back this summer!! I highly recommend renting this cabin. The views are amazing and the over all experience is wonderful!!

Thank you for the kind review! We are so pleased to hear that your stay was wonderful! Thank you for letting us know about the wifi- we are so sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused to your vacation. We have just switched to a new internet provider since your stay, so there should be no issues in the future. We hope to host you again someday soon!
The listing honestly doesn’t do it justice, it’s just beautiful. Despite the property being remote, it wasn’t hard to get to in the summer at all. The views were spectacular and we were in the hot tub as much as possible. It’s just an hour from Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, and Garden of the Gods. And just 20 minutes from Paradise Cove, which I highly recommend. The dishwasher does leak a little, but we just stuck one of the many towels they had under there and it was no issue. We loved our stay here and hope to return in a few years for round 2.
This was our 10 yr anniversary trip and we stayed here for 2 weeks! It really is true...the pictures do NOT do it justice! The house was amazing and the views were absolutely beautiful!! We even had snow one day which was a fun treat!!! I would definitely say this place is the place to be if you like complete seclusion!! The hot tub was very nice in the evenings! We loved hiking the property! SO much to see!! If you are on the fence about staying here.....trust me...you want to stay here! They had everything you could think of!

Great Views in a Romantic Setting!
This house was great. We same numerous mule deer in the woods around the house. It is so quiet and peaceful. You have a great view from the deck and hot tub. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are nice. The drive to the house in beautiful no matter which direction you come in. The house and surrounding was clean and had everything you would need to prepare meals and stay comfortably. It was a quick easy drive to Royal Gorge and Colorado Springs. We had good food in Woodland Park and took the cog rail up to Pike's Peak. It was great to have such a nice place to come back to relax after a full day. The gas fireplace provided lots of heat during the cool nights. It was just two of us but there would be plenty of room for 6 to stay comfortably. The only downside was the internet was a little on the slow side, but you don't go to the mountains to surf the internet! Overall a wonderful place to get away and unplug!

Wow, we are so thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at this property! This home is one of our most popular vacation rentals for good reasons! Thank you for the feedback on the wifi. In this rural location, high speed internet can be a challenge. We will be switching to a new provider soon, so hopefully that will speed it up. While our guests do travel to the mountains to get away from the technology, we are also aware of the need to check in with family and, occasionally, work, so we are working on providing a more reliable option.

Amazing get away
We had a most enjoyable stay at the property for Spring Break. The house was cozy and perfect for family time. Hiking on the property was truly scenic and beautiful. It was very easy to drive into town, even when the weather was snowy. Lots of wildlife --- deer, hawks, blue birds and squirrels. Our experience was fantastic and left us wishing for more time.
A couple of notes to renters, the internet worked, but needed to be rebooted every day. We bought a couple of pans because the ones in the house were a bit outdated. Some of the lights were not working outside (the management company was very quick to come out and fix). These were very small issues that were totally overshadowed by the wonderful house, breathtaking scenery, and overall comfort and relaxation afforded by this great property.
We would highly recommend staying at this lovely home. Spacious and cozy at the same time.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Sangre de Cristo View cabin! Thank you for the comment about the wifi. As you may see from other reviews, this has been an issue that we are attempting to remedy! The fabulous seclusion that this home affords, also creates slow internet! We are in the process of switching providers in hopes that it will be more reliable. We hope to have you back one day!

Better than expected
We just returned from our stay at this home in Colorado. It was our first family vacation to Colorado and it was awesome. Being the first time ever renting a vacation house, and renting it off of a web site was a little scary. We didn't quit know what to expect. Well, the pictures don't give the home, or the location justice. This home and location was far better than we dreamed it would be. Everything was perfect. We had plans to do a lot of site seeing, but we found it just as enjoyable to stay around the house and hike around the property. The few times that we did leave, we went to site in Colorado Springs, the town of Cripple Creek, and the Royal Gorge, and they were all within a short driving distance as this site says. If you are thinking about renting a place in the mountains, this is the perfect place. We are already thinking about when we can go back. The Carrolls

Loved the property, views from deck was amazing and amenities like the hot tub was a big plus! House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. I would differently recommend this as a great get away! Really loved the place!!
This property was exactly what we were looking for: off the beaten path, amazing views, wildlife and spacious. Close enough to attractions but far enough away from the city lights. Would definitely stay here again!!
