DETAILS: There's something for everyone to enjoy at "Shades of Summer!" Welcome to the 6-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home that sleeps 16 guests in the heart of Grayton Beach. All of the bedrooms are "suite" - there are en-suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and balconies in every room. It's located just a few homes back from award-winning beaches and steps from a rare coastal dune lake and protected state parkland. There are 2 washer and dryers, 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators, making it perfect for large groups. This classic beach home has fresh exterior paint, includes 6 complimentary adult bikes and a private pool with a sunning deck.

On the first floor are 2 bedrooms adjacent to the entry room. The first is a spacious bunk room that includes 4 sets of bunks built into the wall- 2 full-size and 2 twins. It doubles as a game room with a flat-screen TV, en-suite bathroom, and porch. The other bedroom has two king beds, en-suite bathroom with a shower only, and access to the porch.

The main level hosts the kitchen and living room that open up to a balcony overlooking Garfield Street. The recently updated, gourmet kitchen includes premium Thermador appliances, fully equipped utensils, designer cabinetry, and casual eating for 8 at the bar. 2 dining tables have seating for 15 to enjoy a meal together. A king bedroom is down the hall with a private bathroom and balcony.

Upstairs, there are 3 more bedrooms. All are primary suites contain king beds, private balconies, and en suite bathrooms. A large top-level deck is perfect for sunning and catching a glimpse of the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf. World-class dining and shopping are just a short walk away along the path to the beach. This home is very popular for families, corporate retreats, and wedding parties!

Great House!

We loved staying at Shades of Summer for our fall break trip with our friends. The location was fantastic and it came with everything you could need for a beach trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and setup for multiple families!

This house was perfect for our large group. The bunk room with its own sitting area was so nice for the kids. All beds were comfortable, and the location can’t be beat! The house could use a good deep cleaning, and some of the rugs were stained, but we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for a group of friends...

We were four couples on our annual trek to Grayton Beach and this place could not have fit us better, with room to spare - we could have fit another couple abs 8 kids! Just steps from the Red Bar and the beach. We’ll be back.

Shade of Summer is a delight!

This home is spectacular. It exceeding our expectations. The location was perfect. The home comes equipped with duel refrigerators, dishwashers, and washer/dryers! We wanted for nothing and can’t wait to return.

The house has an amazing location and a ton of space. We loved how each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house seemed to be missing the bare necessities that beach properties normally have (paper towel, extra toilet paper, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc...). So be sure to bring those necessities or plan to purchase everything.

Thanksgiving weekend

Amazing location. Very responsive staff. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed for a big dinners and lots of cooking including thanksgiving dinner which we had at the property with large family gathering. Could have used beach towels and chairs, more higher end cleaning products for hygiene, laundry, dishwasher, etc.

The perfect place for a big family reunion!

Had a family reunion with 15 adults. We loved the huge kitchen and big bedrooms each with their own bathroom! Having a private swimming pool certainly provided extra entertainment especially when we had room for our cornhole boards. The walk to the beach was easy even for the oldest in our group which were 82 and 81! Being able to walk to shops and restaurants and the younger adults having a place to gather worked out perfectly! Loved the amenities like the golf cart, bicycles, and little goodies left for us to enjoy. Thanks for a great time and we look forward to returning next year!

We've come to Grayton for four years now, and this was by far the best place we've stayed. There was ample room, including a place for the kids to hang out, and it was only a block to the beach. When there was a slight problem with the refrigerator, Cole responded right away, and sent a repairman out on a Sunday night to take care of it. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay and plan to return!

Convenient to good restaurants and happy hours that are also kid-friendly. Loved being just steps away from the beach and the lake. The pool and the bunk room were big hits with the kids. Each family having their own bedroom and bathroom was a real plus. I would definitely recommend this house for families with children. Also loved being in the less-crowded, Grayton Beach area. We plan to come back again.
