During the summer, you have a spot at the dock to access Little Arbor Vitae Lake for excellent fishing. Come winter, snowmobile trails pass right by this home, so you can easily unload and take off.

Snuggle up on the comfortable couch and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with your friends, watching TV, planning tomorrow's adventures, or playing one of the board games available. This vacation rental will put every adventure at your fingertips. If you need a little more space, take a look at Roadside 1 and 2 to rent both halves of this duplex together.

What's nearby:
You'll be near trails for bikes, ATVs, and UTVs, and close to many lakes. You're also not far from miniature golf, go-karts, and horseback riding, and you can shop and dine out in the surrounding towns as well. Little Arbor Vitae Lake is a 480-acre lake with a maximum depth of 32 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include musky, panfish, largemouth bass, and walleye. The lake's water clarity is low.

Nice

We had a quick stay and mainly used the property to sleep and shower. It was in a lovely secluded place, very quiet!! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Only thing I would suggest is that they clean the cobwebs out of the bathroom and the windows. Everything else was very clean!

As expected

This is not a honeymoon suite, but perfect for a fishing trip with buddies. I saw some reviews that the wifi didn’t work but it worked fine for us.

The cabin was nice and quiet. Neighbors were very nice and helpful. The scenery was beautiful. There was really no decent place to park our pontoon trailer and the dock that was pictured online was not the dock for roadside 1 cabin. We had to ask the neighbor which dock to use. And the entry to the dock was over grown with lake weeds which made a tripping hazard. A friendly suggestion is to have a sign directing which dock to use. Also, we had to ask the neighbor as to where the garbage and recycle bins were. They are hidden behind a fence which also had a keep out sign by them. Friendly suggestion is to maybe have a diagram online pointing out this area or a better description as to where they are located.

I would not call it a romantic place but I would call it a base camp to stay for getting out and exploring the north woods. Clean and had enough amenities that you did not have to bring anything extra.

Good price for a weekend of snowmobiling, trail is right down the road. 2 place trailer is about the max, hills can be a bit tricky.

Ok, for just a place to sleep…

We knew this rental was just going to meet our needs for somewhere to sleep. With that said the place needs a really good spring cleaning inside and outside.

It was fine for a couple nights. Nothing special. Clean, & pretty lake. We were pretty frustrated having to not check in 'til 4pm & get out by 10 am. Not to mention, the cleaning lady ruled in, music belting away at 9':30am.

Great Place to Stay!

We had six people (3 adults, 3 kids) staying in the Roadside 1, and we had a very enjoyable time. The accommodations had just the right things that we needed for our stay, including towels and necessary kitchen items for cooking meals in the cottage. The rental price was very reasonable. Everything was very clean when we arrived, which was much appreciated!

Relaxing views

We loved the cabin and it’s lake views. The ease of check in and checkout was appreciated. Only complaint was lack of WiFi as it made it more difficult to get info on restaurants and things to do. Stayed on property more than intended as we experienced a flat and spent most of one day finding someone to come out to tow us to get a new tire

Great if you want to get away

We had a wonderful time. The cabin had the perfect amount of space. The fishing was good and town was close enough.. Only two problems we had we're that not only was there no internet a the cabin (which we knew going in) but phone data did not work either. The second problem was that the listing said there were board games there and the only thing we found we're several decks of cards (not all full decks) and a cribbage board. We had planned to have some family fun time playing games.

Mother/Son Mini-Vacation

The cabin was just right for my 13 year old and I. He landed a 36” northern pike off the dock. His biggest catch ever so it was very exciting. We have video and took some nice pictures before releasing it back to its home. We did a lot of activities in the area and also went to Upper Michigan for a day. The time together was priceless. Thank you Vacasa!!
