Ideal for a family vacation or grown-up getaway! Park the car in the drive-way, put on your flip flops, and relax. This home is within walking distance of Dennis Port's best restaurants and beaches. This home has Central Air, an eat-in kitchen, spacious living room with plenty of comfy seating, a wide-screen TV, WiFi and cable. The master bedroom also has a flat-screen TV, and there are two guest bedrooms, all tastefully decorated. Full bathroom has a large porcelain tub with a shower. Outside there is a 12' x 12' deck (perfect for late afternoon cocktails), a fenced-in backyard with an outdoor shower, fire pit and Adirondack chairs, did someone say S'mores?

Overall the home was clean and well appointed. The stove is adorably tiny! The A/C worked great, the shower had good water pressure and the living room furniture was comfortable. Wi-fi worked well. The location was easy access to all the places we wanted to go.

Perfect location

Perfect cape cottage in Dennis Port, a short walk to Glendon Beach, The Sailing Cow, Joey's Pizza, The Doghouse, Chapins, Wolfies, and many other restaurants etc. The cottage is well stocked with all the essentials and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful stay

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our week here. The property is very clean and we were comfortable relaxing at the end of the day whether it was watching TV, playing scrabble or sitting outside on the deck. The location was great - close to plenty of restaurants and shops but on a private street without a lot of traffic. The private beach at the end of the street is an excellent bonus. Kathleen was a wonderful hostess - thanks again!

Wonderful week at the beach!

We loved our stay at this house! The home was very clean upon arrival and Kathleen was a pleasure to communicate with. The location is great, as you can walk to beaches at the end of the road and many restaurants are close by. The house was well stocked with many amenities you would need for a family. The family room is very comfortable, and the central A/C is nice after a day at the beach! We are already figuring out when we can come back, as we really enjoyed our stay!

Great cottage on quiet road near beach

We had a great week on the Cape in this terrific rental. House was exactly as advertised and perfect for our needs. We had some company one night and had plenty of room to accommodate them. We spent a lot of time on the sunny and well appointed deck during the week as the beach was very windy some days. Thanks for everything!

Travel 7/18/20-7/24/20

My family and I stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful time! The home is located on a quiet road that is conveniently located near the beach as well as shops. The home was very clean on arrival and homeowner Kathleen was so easy to work with. She responded very quickly to any question we had. We took advantage of the outdoor shower and fire pit every day! I recommend this property if you are looking for a fun filled family vacation or even some quiet R&R!

Great location, adorable house, kind host

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids 3&5) LOVED this house. The location is perfect and we had no issues with the house. It had everything we needed (especially in the kitchen)! All we needed for the house were sheets and towels. Which was just fine! It’s a short walk, even with kids, to a cute small private beach. It’s also walking distance to a larger public beach. A short drive to many very big public beaches restaurants and activities. Kathleen had great communication if I had any questions she answered very promptly. The outdoor shower was amazing!! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect Week

We had the best week at Kathleen's cottage. The cottage itself was very clean, updated and so cute and cozy. We were impressed by the amount of storage (closets, cabinets, dressers) for guests while still having all the necessary amenities and supplies we needed. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and outdoor sectional in the evenings. using the grill, and relaxing in the central A.C. indoors when it was a little hot and humid. The outdoor shower was spacious and clean with great water pressure. We had no issues at all and the location was great for all we wanted to do on the Cape. We also appreciated the ample parking as we had 3 cars and there was plenty of room. The cottage was so comfortable and we'd love to stay again.

We had a nice time

We had a nice time but I might not book here again. I was surprised by there being no linens on the bed provided as no one in our family has ever stayed at a rental that didn't provide them. I understand that they were not listed in what is provided but it seemed so basic a necessity that I didn't explicitly check to make sure they were included. So our first day I had to buy linens for three beds all in sizes (full and twin) that I don't have at home so had to just give them away afterwards. It said that all paper goods were provided but we ran out and had to buy tissues, napkins, and paper towels. We didn't find the napkins the owner provided until we were checking out. We also had a price scare in the middle of our visit. The owner had a misunderstanding with VRBO about when she would receive payment and so she put through the charge again which led to me receiving a request for payment for double the amount or have to leave. I had to call VRBO and wait on hold forever until they straightened it out and said to ignore the double charge but after all that she didn't even apologize for this upsetting event. Overall, the property was enjoyable and we had a very nice vacation but these were things I could have done without during my week vacation.

However, I feel that VRBO, as a rental agent, should have apologized to both of us for the 'glitch' in their payment process, which has never happened before. Regarding the linens and paper products, I do consult with other owners on Cape Cod, and have rented several homes myself, and it is very common that owners do not supply linens. As for paper products, I try to supply enough for a week; some people use more, some people use less. I am sorry you didn't have enough and didn't see the napkins in the holder. Best, Kathleen

Great time, great location

Our first trip to the Cape was fantastic, and our rental home was a big part of it. Everything we needed was included. The beach was a few minutes’ walk. Port Dennis is located perfectly: an hour or so from Provincetown to the northeast, and an hour or so from Woods Hole to the west. The town itself had plenty in terms of shopping, restaurants, drugstores. And everywhere we went folks were serious about mask wearing and social distancing, that was good to see. We will be back.

Close to beach

This house was perfect for my daughter and I. We also had several friends and family visit during the stay. Plenty of sleeping space. Backyard is lovely with seating on deck and a firepit. Neighborhood was great with friendly people. Close enough to the beach to walk with a wagon. I didnt want to leave and we will be back.
